Pros: Everything the hotel was first class , the room was very comfortable and spacious it was like stepping back in time. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly, nothing was a problem for them, the restaurant staff and the food was fantastic. The only downside was the doorman on front street restaurant entrance, were we found him to be very abrupt in his manner, the hotel entrance round the corner mate, when tried to enter through the door. However the actual hotel staff could not be faulted

Cons:

Pros: Wonderful staff, welcoming and friendly. Top quality food and great fun overall. Loved the boys carol service.
Cons: Private lounge for guests - all areas seemed open to the public. It would have been lovely to have had a roaring fire and books/magazines to relax with. We felt we had to order expensive drinks to sit in the open areas.

Pros: Everything was what I would have expected of a hotel with the name of The Ritz. The staff were so helpful and all areas (including public rooms) were spotless. We couldn't see how it could have been improved on.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine and should not be messed about with.

Pros: The staff can't do enough for you, great relaxed atmosphere, Christmas decorations were superb and just added to the cosiness of the hotel. Facilities were excellent, but the staff really made it and I was looked after and thoroughly enjoyed my time sampling the Ritz brand of cigars.
Cons: The room was a little tired. But I mean a little, and it didn't spoil our stay. Second day breakfast was slow. We were a table of two in the centre of some larger tables that our waiter spent more time talking and having fun with. This was nice for them, but we were a little over looked, and we had to ask again for items that were missed from our order. - A very small point, and didn't detract from our overall stay.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: For the money for the hotel the service was not to a standard i would expect late check in were not made aware of bar for residents of the hotel until late last night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and really made my mums birthday extra special
Cons: Wouldn’t say I didn’t like, but was really surprised that there wasn’t a T tray in the room
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast Room Service (as restaurant was not open before I had to leave).
Cons: Everything else - courteous, but very unhelpful staff in resolving issues and making guests feel comfortable. Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Continental breakfast is not diverse - just a few pork cold-cuts, a couple of cheeses, some juice, coffee, pastries etc. We asked for a few slices of tomato and cucumber and were charged 4 GBP for them.

Cons: There were some problems. The internet was either slow or absent. We were told the walls are thick and "...they're working on it." This is a business and it is unacceptable to struggle to get a speedy connection.I doubt that this was a new problem. I spent hours trying to use the slow connection and for this reason will not go back. The bell person who took up our luggage didn't tell us anything about regulating the heat and the lights and it wasn't intuitive. The control panel on the wall doesn't regulate the radiators. You have to turn them off or on. We couldn't figure out the lights either so we had to wait for a shower until someone came and showed us a master switch. No clock or radio in the room. TV stations were limited; BBC1, BBC2, Bloomberg Britain and old American shows; no finance channels like CNBC, no current movies. The was however the Financial Times in the library.

Pros: Marble floor bathroom. Large reception area to check in.
Cons: A light snack meal at the Park Room restaurant is real expensive. Would have been 3 to 4 times more expensive than a similar hotel in USA. A cup of coffee, a small 10 oz orange juice, three hamberger of 2 inch diameterand a cup of soup costed USD$70.

Pros: My husband and I stayed for one night on Saturday night past. Before I arrived I asked on the additional section could we have a quiet room as I am a very light sleeper. I didn’t hear a thing all night, it was so lovely and quiet. We stayed on the 7th floor. The bed was so comfortable, loved the powerful shower and sky was an added bonus. Cannot fault this hotel and highly recommend it for both comfort and location. We will be back. Thank you! X

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I have a serious complaint about the stay last night on top of a previous stay last week, basically the Hotel management allow occupiers of the 8th floor suites to play loud music until any time they wish, to the detriment of the guests below. Unacceptable. During the nights of the 29th and 30th while I was in room 442 the fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times. That was coupled with noise which I thought was coming from outside but was probably from a suite on the 8th floor. Last night I stayed in room 752 and was unable to sleep after 2am due to very loud noise (and I mean VERY loud plus vibrations and strong bass, Arabic music) coming from upstairs on the 8th floor. When I complained to the Duty manager he apparently went upstairs, asked them to turn down the music and they did not, instead the music continued until 5:30am at which point I checked out and left the Hotel to go very early to the airport to sleep. The Duty Manager did offer me a room at around 3am where I could go and sleep but I refused since it should not be me to continue being inconvenienced and I had no idea the music would continue until 5:30am! NEVER Again!!!

Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them

Pros: This is a lovely hotel in a good location, an attractive area - a part of London we weren't familiar with, but it was great. Pros: The Wellington Hotel is in a large, quiet square which contains a school playing field. It is an easy walk to/from Victoria Station (but taxi needed if you have luggage). It is also convenient for Westminster Roman Catholic Cathedral (completed 1903), an impressive Byzantine-style building - not to be confused with the much more historic Westminster Abbey (Church of England) at the other end of Victoria Street. Both of these great churches have many features of interest and also world-class choirs, so music-lovers might wish to attend a choral service. The hotel has friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a useful lounge area, and good cooking. Seasonal touches - such as hot mulled wine on offer near Reception from 5 p.m. on December evenings - are appreciated.

Pros: Room was clean and fairly modern, bathroom a little cramped but again clean. Pleanty of space in the actual room, good hot water and heating. Perfect location for anywhere from Victoria to Westminster and great to walk around the area.

Cons: Access for disabled guests at the front of the hotel is difficult as there are steps. There is disabled access at the back of the hotel.

Pros: Staff excellent and very friendly atmosphere
Cons: All good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel in a good location, an attractive area - a part of London we weren't familiar with, but it was great. Our room was very nice, modern, comfortable and clean, and had a nice sitting area too. Nice pre-dinner drink at the bar. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked decent and reasonable.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Pretty
Cons: Bed was not comfy at all. The maid/housekeeping cane into room twice!! Kept knocking and woke us up two times which was taking the mick! Once at 8am and again at 10.05 am! Not happy. Had the worst nights sleep ever. When telling the reception In the morning, all he could say was I’m sorry that shouldn’t have happened.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: The handsome flight of steps leading up to the entrance could be improved by a stylish handrail, which older guests would greatly appreciate. The uninviting "goods entrance" for disabled access off the street at the back would be a poor introduction for less mobile guests to a pleasant hotel. The taps serving the bath/shower are not of a standard design. Clear instructions with a diagram would be helpful.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and fairly modern, bathroom a little cramped but again clean. Pleanty of space in the actual room, good hot water and heating. Perfect location for anywhere from Victoria to Westminster and great to walk around the area.
Cons: The reception staff always friendly and obviously well trained if at times stressed. But I would expect and welcome all staff looking all guests in the eye and saying good morning or hello when passing them in the corridor.
Overlooking tranquil Vincent Square in the heart of Westminster; Wellington Hotel combines contemporary design with character. Each of the 84 spacious guestrooms and apartments (with kitchenette) feature: stylish interiors, en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi and work desk with USB port and international adaptor socket. The 24hr gym is equipped with cardio machines, bodyweight apparatus and free weights. The restaurant serves a full English breakfast and an Italian inspired la carte menu for lunch & dinner. The convivial atmosphere of the lounge bar makes it the perfect setting for cocktails or afternoon tea (24hr room service is available). There are two innovative & unique conference rooms and landscaped lawns. Both Wellington Suite (maximum capacity 125 delegates) and Chapel Suite (maximum capacity 85 delegates) combine period features including parquet flooring, stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings, with modern technology. The lawns are ideal for summer BBQs. Local iconic landmarks include Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
With a stay at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, you'll be centrally located in London, just a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and 10 minutes by foot from Green Park. 6.3 Good
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The bathroom was so antiquated .I had to fill the bath on several occasions as the the plug was no longer functioning. It took many minutes to obtain hot water. The bath itself had cracks and mould around the sides. The breakfast was abysmal with only a small selection available. My partner had chosen baked beans which she ate but told me that they were cold. I chose some scrambled eggs which smelt like fish, this I mentioned to the waiter who informed the chef who claimed that this is the smell you get from pasteurized eggs. I cannot remember this odour having eaten pasteurized eggs on several occasions. I think they have seriously overcharged for what they have offered. I will never return to this hotel ever again.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude racist staff. Old shabby hotel. Feels like a 2* property. The manager and reception staff was very rude. Would never see a Hilton again in my life.
7.0 Good
Pros: Orange juice machine.
Cons: The breakfast lets the hotel down and does not match standards of a 5 stars hotel in London. Breakfast staff seemed untrained and inexperienced. Food was not varied and it was difficult to understand how it needed to be ordered. It all seemed very disorganised . Tables were not prepared and nobody seemed to be attending them . Staying with two people coming from abroad , very embarrassing . Someone should be overseeing the staff .
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: the only good thing about this hotel is location and very friendly staff
Cons: hotel claims 5 stars, however it can hardly be considered as one. bath room is absolutely old requires deep maintenance. was very cold in the room, the cold air was coming from closed windows (even though we had heating fully switched on). Hotels as Hilton shall provide expected quality, which surely was not the case here. Very used/exchausted hotel.

Pros: staff, location
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is the main reason I chose this hotel, but it was the comfort and a good nights sleep that really counted for me.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is that the hallways were very dark with a lot of black paint, not very inviting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly, comfort of the room, proximity to my office and value for money comfort..
Cons: Only think was lighting was a little dark in the room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Service Quality and price
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The room I had booked wasn't available, so I had two single beds instead of one double. There was a mid-week function happening on the ground floor, which could be heard from my 2nd floor room. The breakfast was delivered without cutlery and no milk for coffee. For a one night stay, I wasn't very impressed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fhe stuff was very helpful and friendly
Cons:
7.9 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The hotel was more like an airport hotel than a luxury hotel in central london.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and people
Cons: Bed is very uncomfortable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the staff very much. Hotel employee at check-in was very efficient and lobby staff were very quick to help me with my bags or call me a cab. I loved the location, best of both worlds, close to the shops and on a beautiful park.
Cons: YES ! THE BED !!! I am still nursing an injured knee. The bed was too big for the room plus it had a frame which took up even more space from the room. Other than that it was a comfortable mattress and nice quiet room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Good breakfast a la carte. Staff is great. Nice comfortable beds. Overall good cleaning
Cons: The toilets of the 1st floor are really small and difficult to even move in it. Gym is a old to be a 5 star hotel
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Executive Lounge, Nespresso machine in room (one bed suite)
Cons: Elevators constantly being refurbished; bad internet; arriving late at night and not having our designated room (one bed suite) despite having called up the day before to advise hotel of our late arrival.

Pros: The accomodation was lovely, we had a beautiful newly refurbished room. We stayed for my Mother's 50th birthday celebrations and guest services arranged a nice treat for us. As a group of 7 we have rooms together and the hotel accommodated the request for twin beds in the rooms. We enjoyed a pre theatre meal in the grosvenor arms and we liked having the use of the executive lounge. In the morning this was very busy and the breakfast items quickly ran out, the waitress needed assistance as she could not give everyone the service has had wished to single handedly. There were limited food items, cups and milk. When we returned in the evening, she looked after us very well and the service was fantastic. We loved the wine and snacks in the executive lounge which was quieter in the evenings.

Pros: Good central location, and comfortable.
Cons: Service charge in the bar, we had drinks each night but one night we were only in there an hour and they wanted to charge £15 service charge which is ridiculous for guests staying in the hotel.

Pros: location, air conditioning, room service food
Cons: room service lost our order and had to re-order making dinner over 1 hour late

Pros: The property is in a good location and the staff are very good especially in the breakfast room
Cons: We found the rooms cold this time and had an issue with the executive lounge however a member of staff solved our executive lounge issue

Cons: The room service food was very dissapointing.

Cons: On our first evening we visited the soak bar as a group of 7, when paying the bill for drinks only we were asked why we did not wish to pay the service charge. Given we have waited a very long time to be served, and had been ignored by staff. We also would have had a second round of cocktails but had nobody to ask, we chose not to pay the service charge. As we were leaving we were challenged as to why we had not paid this I do not feel this is acceptable given service charges are an optional discretionary charge.

Pros: Clean and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location with direct access to Victoria Station. Grand old hotel - built in 1860's - but rooms totally updated. Staff was execellent
Cons: for US customers, rooms are all small side but are standard European size. Storage space is a bit spare. No drawers for clothes.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was nice with good storage. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom very small. Our TV had problems, would freeze and would have to shut off then on again. Over and Over. Also seemed to depended on which channel was selected. Mentioned this the first night we checked in. Technician came but problem was not resolved that evening. Next day they tried again. Still not solved. Since we had been on an all day excursion that 2nd day of our stay we didn't realize until evening that problem still existed. So the problem was never resolved. No offer to move us was made during that time. At checkout we asked whether they would instead give us the breakfast we had on one day for free. We were told yes. But I still see a pending charge on our bill for $64. That should be $0.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. Beautiful lobby and structure.
Cons: The Fire alarm went off in our room at 4:30am causing me to jump out of bed hitting my shoulder which is now in pain several days later. The staff said it was an error. Plus the television did not work and the cold faucet in the bathroom did not work.
6.0 Good
Pros: The lobby was beautiful and it was a great location.
Cons: The rooms were tiny. There was no room to even open a suitcase. I expected more for the price. The elevators had issues as well and we had to carry our suitcases up stairs.

Pros: Area safe and convenient. Location central.
Cons: I stayed there for six nights. Very overpriced for London. Please look at the photos I posted of our room. That is what the rooms truly look like, nothing like they look like on the website. Peeling wallpaper, old mattress, outdated furniture, no safe in the room, rude front desk.

Cons: The room itself whilst clean and comfortable was very small

Pros: I enjoy boutique hotels. The staff was fine. Very professional. Internet was pretty good. The breakfast had a nice variety of options. The neighborhood is awesome. Beautiful architecture, plenty of local options for restaurants, pubs and shopping.
Cons: The hotel is a little tired. They need to spend some money cleaning up the wood trim. It is unnecessarily scratched up. The mattress was too firm and TV was lousy. The room was small and difficult to work in.
7.4 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are clean but a bit small. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The room had a hair dryer but no iron. Straight behind the hotel is a movie theater and several great restaurants close by. I loved the Kings Arms Pub.
Cons: I only had I think 10-12 tv stations and no cable news. The internet was ok but it went down for a full day. They said they were trying to repair it and it took 24 hrs. The room was a bit warm, it was November so I thought I would open the window. It was screwed closed. The lights on the front of the hotel would shine into the room at night. Even with the curtains it was BRIGHT! Spent 4 nights.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location and polite staff.
Cons: There were a number of issues with the room. No hot water from the shower, TV didn't work, very noisy throughout the night from street noise, and my phone charger burnt out from a faulty socket in the wall.
