Cons: THe tea water was poured into a cold teapot, and therefor wasn’t hot enough to properly brew the tea. They should know better and should pre-heat their porcelain teapots so the pot itself doesn’t cool down the tea.

Cons: No thing really. The only tiny thing was we were recommended to go to a exhibition but the show was actually finished the day before. So we were a bit disappointed as the information was given on our welcome note on our desk when we check in.

Cons: Well there’s one thing the coffee is not good didn’t like the blends but that’s personal. It would also be nice to be asked whether one would like chocolate on the top or not. It’s the taste sometimes it just tastes too bitter.

Contemporary design Incorporated into the old world charm and classic design of the building, The location is superb I really can't get any more central than this. The stuff are wonderful, right down to the doorman, I've stayed there four times in the past six months, and i must say, it's so nice when the doorman greats you and welcomes you back to the hotel.

Pros: Hazlitt's is a charming, discreet and authentic period townhouse hotel with creaky floorboards and antique furniture. It is different than most London hotels. The location is prime! Right in the center of Soho close to everything. I liked the rooms being named after people who visited back in the day and the honesty bar!

Though the room was not ready, we were warmly welcomed by Charles, who organised a beautiful tray of coffee and tea. A special thank you to Charles.

They picked us up at the corner of the street with a trolley since cars can’t come into Leicester Square at a certain time. The family room was so big, fit all 4 of us and enough room for our huge luggages. It had a view of Leicester Square. The breakfast was great! It had a lot of great options. There was Nespresso in the room, as well.

He was very nice, considerate : he offered water, drinks, a blanket and made sure I get a room as FAST as he could. THE VALLET GUY EVERY MORNING IS JUST F A N T A S T I C It is sad that construction works are blocking the road towards your hotel. It adds nothing in terms of style and is outdated) -No bar or restaurant although they provide places locally to get a bite to eat. -The hotel is split into two parts and the hallways are so dark you can get a bit lost.

Cons: We ordered 2 rooms, One of the rooms had an electricity failure multiple times a day and also during the night. My friend who slept there had no air condition during the night struggled to sleep. We asked the hotel to fix the electricity issue or to switch room, they checked it but didn’t fix, as they didn’t give us any appropriate solution or even discount at the end, but very bad vibes from the hotel reception. In addition both rooms didn’t seem to be properly maintained, e.g unbearable noise during shower.

Cons: Unfortunately Leicester Square was very noisy at night, a busker with a guitar and an amplifier started up at 1030pm and didn’t stop until 3am so couldn’t get to sleep. I went down to reception at 2:30am and asked whether the Police had been called to move him on but the receptionist said the police had gone past on bikes but wouldn’t stop him singing as the crowd around him was too large. I asked if he had any earplugs but none were available. It ruined what should of been a lovely evening as had to be up for 7am to catch a train home.

Cons: I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it".
Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night.
Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.

Cleanliness wasn’t good either although i did point it out a few times. And above all that my room was just on top of the bar so the noise was too much to handle and my room was actually shaking from the loud sound.

Pros: The continental breakfast was satisfactory but a little over-priced and somewhat boring. Also, it was not mentioned that the price included a second coffee, we were not invited to have one but had to request it. However, The waitress was very efficient and service quite prompt.
Cons: At first we were allocated a room with a wet room and no windows. It was gloomy and very claustrophobic. It was evidently intended for someone with disabilities as there was also an alarm cord, but the room itself was very depressing. I informed the staff that I could not stay in the room and we were promptly redirected to a much more pleasant one with a large window area. However, it was very noisy as it was opposite a night club.

Cons: The size of the rooms is fine. I find them cosy and generally sleep very well, which is one of the reasons I choose to stay there. In fact this room was a little large than normal. However on this occasion there were several issues which caused me a big problem - I essentially got no sleep at all: (i) the thermostat seemed broken causing fluctuations in temperature; (ii) the walls were very thin and I could hear the neighbour performing all of his/her bathroom functions, including regular vomiting; (iii) the light switches were broken and there was no way to turn off all the lights. The lights were on all night.

Only a single screen on the shower so when you had a shower it practically flooded the bathroom. Just a bit disappointed really, this was meant as a birthday treat for my daughter and was hoping for a more luxurious looking room for the price.
