Poor for both. The door to my room was No closed and lock after cleaning in one of the days.
Terrible service and room
Nothing was good.
waited over 30 minutes to be checked in. My room was deffintely not what the pictures were. Far from four, the bathroom was like a closet. The shower was filled with mold. Was moved to another room far from the lobby so was given English breakfast yet i only recieved a continental breakfast and the food bar had hardly anything left. I left with only a croissant, yogurt and, and toast. The cost of the room was well over priced for what i recieved.
SCAM! They told us there were no rooms available after prepaying
Poor service They didnt ehlp us with a new hotel. I had to look for a hotel in London at 8pm on a friday night. The manager was rude over the phone since he never actually showed up. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Turned up at 10pm, having previously advised them I would be late. Was advised no more double ensuite rooms available, so they had downgraded me to a single with no bathroom. The room was tiny and dirty. The mattress on the bed had partially collapsed on one side. The shared shower room down the corridor was also dirty. Won't be staying here again.
Great location for a Mediocre Hotel!
Incompetent manager and staff. No idea of how to run a hotel. Always responding to guest complaints about the condition of the rooms and the service. Workers seem lost without good leadership.
The location was great. Very near Victoria train station and everything else. Being a tourist this was a huge plus because it kept us from getting lost. Rooms were very clean I'd stay again definitely.
The only thing I didn't like was the gentleman that was the morning to afternoon front desk clerk. We were treated pretty differently than other guests by him. Other than that blip everything else was fine.
Great location... that's about it.
Tiny room, cupboards from a skip and mini fridge precariously balanced on one of them. I wouldn't really mind if it hadn't been over £100! Absolutely tiny room, single bed converted to a double. Staff werent exactly thrilled to see us either.
Very nicely furnished, nice bathrooms. Basic amenities, overall very comfortable
The beds were very uncomfortable, and the mattresses felt cheap.
It was warm and provided shelter
Very poor room in the basement - it was dark and very basic.
Nice area. Boutique shops nearby and handy for Victoria Station
Some staff very friendly others unhelpful.
central location. excelent shower
room too small and tucked away at back of hotel
Friendly staff, clean and confortable
Basement room, bathroom had no heating and was cold. Shower tray was not draining correctly
Great lobby with nice design and friendly staff.
The fact that they first tried to put me in a room... in another building..... with a different hotel name.
Booked a twin room, 2 weeks in advance. On arrival, was presented with room with only one double bed. After talking to reception, the best they could do was add a fold away cot for my 42 yr old daughter. Thus, room was too small for both beds. We were disappointed.
Location to Victoria Station. Good for flying in/out London via Gatwick. the overall Decor was nice.Free wireless and wired internet.
Staircases going up and down, depsite on the same floor. My room has a small narrow staircase going up to the bathroom. and difficult to drag luggage around to get to my room due to those up and down stairs on 1st floor. No blinds/curtains at one of my window. feel a bit insecure. One of the reception staff was a big grumpy looking although she can be helpful, but just not very friendly. Front desk service not quite a 4-5 stars level
The room decor was contemporary and tasteful, flat screen tv and great bathroom adds to the luxury. We needed to be close to Victoria station and this hotels location was perfect, quiet at night to maximise a restful night but only five minutes walk from lots of good bars cafes and restaurants. We only met one member of reception staff who was very pleasant and helpful.
There were no other reviews on the web for this hotel so we went in 'blind', I emailed the hotel before our arrival but got no reply. It wasn't a huge room but unless you want to pay a fortune that's par for the course in cities like London. There was no hot breakfast available but we were offered complimentary continental breakfast by way of compensation
The service and staff were excellent, the position of the hotel is great all in all a nice set up.
The suite was exellent, the management and staff could not help us enough
