Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near important and iconic tourist sites downtown and close to an underground station. The hotel was well-kept, rooms were clean, and hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The price. It was a bit expensive for such a small room. I stayed in a queen bed room and it was difficult to move around the bed. Also, the rain shower did not have a lot of pressure. I would have liked to have a regular shower head instead of the rain shower one.

Pros: The hotel is lovely and in a great location. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. This is our second time staying there and we would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Our room was a little small. We should have asked for an upgrade.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Noise from a construction site in front of us from 6-7 am and also from lorries loading and unloading throughout the night. This could have been mitigated by a decent soundproof windows or a double layer. If I had known this was going to be the case I would have booked somewhere else, maybe not that nice and amazingly located, but probably way cheaper.

Pros: Lokatie, entree,
Cons: Some staff front desk; long corridors in the hotel. Not being notified by the staff about necessity to make T-room reservations, T-room being occupied by non-residents

Cons: I had the lamb for main course in the Dining Room - the meat was below standard (undercooked with fat throughout)

Pros:
Cons: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Pros: Location
Cons: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money.

Pros: Even though the hotel is quite small it does give personalized care and has great facilities. Our room overlooked the square and was still quiet and serene. Room size a bit on the smallish side but not too small as to be inconvenient. Bathroom facilities clean and modern. Towels were always clean and fresh. And all the staff were very helpful and friendly. And not to forget the great location of this hotel, a few minutes walk from both Knightsbridge and King’s Road shopping areas. This was a return visit for me at the Hari and will definitely be staying here again.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, available 24/7. We had an early flight back so checked out of the room and left early (6am) - we were greeted upon departure with take-away coffee and tea, along with fruits and pastries. Literally left good taste in our mouths as we left the hotel. We'll surely return to the Thompson on our next visit to London!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern design, bathroom was sleek and simple, hotel was cozy and garden studio was great. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel.
Cons: Crowds in front of hotel every night , they shouldn’t allow this hotel is small and having such crowds make it uncomfortable for guests. Corridors in front of rooms always smelled like food, lots of guests threw stuff out the room and it would stay there all night.
4.6 Okay
Pros:
Cons: I have Two booking for 2 nights and they checked me out from the first room at 12:00 am And I have to wait around 4 hours to get my other room
5.4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was okay - average selection for a buffet. However, the location was fantastic.
Cons: Where to begin... 1. The hotel rooms are VERY small - No sound proofing...if your neighbor shuts or opens their door at whatever time of the day then have no doubt you will hear it and if you are a light sleeper then good luck! 2. Service is very poor whether at the Italian restaurant or at reception. I paid a cash deposit and at checkout they said there was no record of any cash payment on their system..luckily, I had kept a copy of my receipt. Not to mention the time spent going back and forth on this issue. 3. I was in London to plan my wedding and chose to stay at The Hari for the convenience of the location however, I was unable to hold any meetings at the hotel or meet anybody in the lobby or the lobby bar due to the amount of kids aged 14-20 who were lined up on a daily basis from 6PM onwards in order to access the lobby bar for its famous doughnuts creating a huge inconvenience for in house guests not to mention the way the lobby looks every time you walked in or out.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, the bed and bathroom
Cons: The room was too small and has no enough tables to put your stuff
10.0 Excellent

Literally left good taste in our mouths as we left the hotel. We'll surely return to the Thompson on our next visit to London!
Cons: The room as several articles which seem complimentary (such as USB cable, etc.) which upon checkout apparently cost quite a lot (we were charged 10 GBP for the cable).
Continental breakfast is not diverse - just a few pork cold-cuts, a couple of cheeses, some juice, coffee, pastries etc. We asked for a few slices of tomato and cucumber and were charged 4 GBP for them.

Pros: Liked the new renovated building, the room, cleanliness and the middle garden.
Cons: The first receptionist I dealt with gave me the wrong room despite I offered to give her the booking reference number. But when I went to the other receptionist she supported me with a nice room. The other thing is that the housekeeping didn’t clean my room in the second day although I pressed the clean request button early morning . Thank you and best regards,

Pros: How friendly and helpful the staff were. The bed was very comfortable and the food was good. As this was a joint business / mini-break it was good to be conveniently located for both Victoria and central London.
Cons: Mid evening the water running for the bath was not as hot as we would have preferred. Not a deal breaker.

Pros: Location is great
Cons: Call in advanced to inform the hotel that my flight rescheduled, hotel receptionist put me on hold and no response. Concierge giving wrong information, and that when I arrived at that location, the place does open on Sunday.

Pros: Great location next to Victoria, spacious rooms.
Cons: Front desk staff is chaotic. They were unable to provide a correct invoice after 5 requests (2x personal, 3x by e-mail, always spelling errors, always new staff dealing with issues etc). Front desk generally is mismanaged, I had to queue for check-out 15 mins while everything was dealt with already at check-in, but they refused to give an invoice then or to e-mail it automatically.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, facilities in the lobby, staff. Stayed here before for a longer stay of 6 nights. Had a much better experience due to previous room location.
Cons: The room 552 is not to be sold separately as it is right next to another room 554 with the same problem. Both rooms have an interconnecting door in between, which is far from being sound-proof. We could hear tour neighbours and they could hear us, even the slightest sounds. Very uncomfortable experience, even for one night. No privacy at all. Please do not sell those rooms and similar ones to your guests unless you sell them together to families. Or else, if you sell one room do not sell the other for the same night.

Cons: The rooms were not cleaned daily despite requesting cleaning service by the door signage. Looked like the hotel was understaffed. Pros: Nice room.
Cons: Staff was so rude. The first person that checked us in around 11 said to come back 2/2:30 and our room should be ready. We came back at 2:53 and the lady at the front desk said “check in is at 3. You can wait in the lobby until 3” without event checking if our room was available. In addition, we had indicated in our reservation that our flight got in early and the hotel responded that they would try to accommodate us. So much for trying.

Pros: Good location. Walking distance to tourist attractions.
Cons: One of two lifts not operating for the 7 days. Made movement to floors slow.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, major sights at walking distance. Rooms good size - mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities always a plus. Breakfast pretty good ( although the coffee is horrible). Pillow selection.
Cons: Staff in general needs more hospitality training, especially front-desk (too many juniors). No pro-active / smiling attitude in general, no friendly chats. Bar / bar area is heavily under utilised and could be made into a nice area to hang out. I always like cozy bar areas in hotels, with good atmosphere, friendly lighting and some background music (good for booze sales as well!) - but this was missing unfortunately. 2 exceptions, bar staff Jezus and Simina were wonderful and do understand the importance of making your guests feel welcome. Breakfast - food selection is fine (full english always nice) - but personally I find a good coffee (cappuccino / espresso) very important and this is sorely missed. Simply invest in a good, self-service coffee machine and I'm sure the guests will give top marks for breakfast. Beds slightly too firm for my liking - but this is personal preference.

7.1 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the staff useful - replied quickly to my queries.
Cons: I booked a room with no windows as was getting in late and check-in out early the next day, but did not expect the ceiling of the room to be so low, was like feeling in a box.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent position near Victoria Station which makes it easy to get to/from both airports, especially Gatwick via the Gatwick Express. The room was clean and made ready early. Wine and Cheese in the evening was also nice before heading out to see the city.
Cons: The mattress was not very comfortable in the queen room. Lack of a shower door or curtain in our room made for a very wet bathroom (however it was an accessible room so I see why it was set up the way it was)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved how the hotel creatively made the most of the space in the room. Everything we needed. Location was excellent. Room was very clean with bed made & fresh towels & water daily. & unexpected bonus of sky tv!!!
Cons: Only a very small observation rather than complaint but we felt the breakfast bar was too close to the main reception making it a bit awkward & crowded to get to breakfast buffet when others guest where checking in & out. Maybe if it was moved to the corner as you come through the front door where there is a bit more space & away from the activity around the main reception might address this. But as I said a very minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn't do enough to help lovely hotel in a great location
Cons: Nothing everything was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't have been better for us as it was a 5 minute walk away from both our transport link and Buckingham Palace. The staff where very accommodating and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was small but had everything we required for our stay. Although we did not eat breakfast at the hotel it looked very appetising. We would definitely re visit this hotel.
Cons: The room was small and a little claustrophobic as it had no window
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel the staff were outstanding !! So friendly so helpful... Being Greeted how me and my partner were just made the whole experience worth while 100% we will be coming again
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Rooms are small No help from porter / hotel staff to get to room. Limited menu
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent; exceeded my expectations. Easy walking location to not only Buckingham Palace but Green Park, St. James Park and Hyde Park. We walked to the west end easily to the theater district and the National Art Gallery, Trafalgar Square..so many wonderful sights to see. Right across the road from Victoria Station with easy access to the bus and tube. The staff were so available to help and provide information and direction; always friendly and professional. Loved coming in to the wine and cheese selection in the afternoon; a lovely most welcoming touch. Can't say enough about the high standards of this hotel; would recommend it to anyone staying in London for a short time wanting to see the best of what it has to offer. Thank you!!
Cons: The size of the room. A very efficient use of space with every inch accounted for. It was indeed comfortable and provided everything we needed but small by North American standards. Everything else including the lovely Cadbury's hot chocolate made up for the lack of space.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good with checking in early and was organized.
Cons: The shower was an issue. Someone helped me fix it but still had problems. It wouldn't adjust the temperature.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness .. friendliness of the staff...shower area... location to the city...
Cons: Size of the room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Victoria Station and a wonderful complimentary wine and cheese each evening!
Cons: The bed is literally against two walls so you must climb over the other person to get in or out of bed - better suited for one person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice wine on arrival. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very handy location to the central area of London and main attractions. Comfortable room and good service from housekeeping staff. Good little shopping arcade in the complex providing many services including groceries and cafe.
Cons: The very small kitchen and the door to the kitchen would not stay open.

Pros: We had an amazing experience at Dolphin House. It was a perfect location for us to get access to the Tube and easy, safe shopping. The apartment was large and gave our family a sense of home away from home.
Cons: The staff was a little slow when we needed help. They were still very helpful, but didn’t seem prepared when it came to simple requests like a set of new sheets. At one point we were locked out of the laundry room and it took some time for them to 1) believe me and 2) unlock the door manually.

Quick walk to the tube but on Victoria so you have to connect to get anywhere 4. Clean. 5. Staff were helpful 6. Restaurant food is ok.
Cons: Needs an upgrade. Feels like circa 1960 but has a new paint job. Lobby is the slickest part of it. Furniture in room was fine but I'd describe this as an upgraded dorm. No shops in the neighborhood.

Pros:
Cons: Tried to check in at 3:00 PM, was given the room at 5:00 PM. The room smelled like food & had an extra bed when I came in (which I didn’t ask for) The room smelled like a kitchen for 4 nights. Will not be staying there again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: The delay response on our orders, they take more than 30 min. to do what we ask for. Also, we have booked a room with a garden view (which cost a way more than a city view). HOWEVER when we came over to the hotel, the receptionist informed us that all rooms with garden view is occupied. This is a lack of credibility!

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: I had problems with: 1) having to switch room because of plumbing technical problems ... 2) not having the room view-location requested and paid for ... despite having to switch to another room without the view requested. 3) having noticed (unfavorable odor) in the drinking glasses during having the dinner. I do suggest that these above remarks are brought to the attention of the administration of the GH-Hotel, Berlin. Thank you, Dr. Saeid A. Alghandi

Pros:
Cons: I forgot to collect during my check out but I left all my luggage till my taxi come. I forgot to take one luggage from the room and until I ask them after few hours then they checked and telling yes they are keeping. I saw the bag is unlock and when I ask they said no lock. So upset. Actually I locked my bag. The lock is missing

Pros: Grand old hotel in the process of refurbishing its sleeping rooms. We stayed in the newly upgraded 5th floor and it was really very nice. The location is unbeatable
Cons: I m astonished that the Grosvenor has never installed entrance/exit ramps. At the Buckingham Palace Street entrance there is a flight of around 8 steps to reach the revolving entry door and there are an even larger number at the Victoria Station exit. And no there is not a porter very often available to assist. Lovely old hotel, superior location, gracious responsive staff, extensive good value buffet breakfast - but an absolute bear to get into!
7.1 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel was quite nice - very close to Victoria Station. Overall this was a fine experience, still not sure if I would choose this again.
Cons: I tried to change my booking for breakfast in the morning and that seemed an issue, also directly above me the fire alarm was blinking and kept me up during the early morning. Then the fire alarm went off - luckily only for a minute or so - but when I came down nobody told me anything about what had happened which I thought was strange.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is good. Staff is friendly
Cons: A pity that we didn't manage to retrieve an item left accidentally in the room after check-out. Room is a bit dim.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a room upgrade so we were very pleased with the hotel. Fantastic facilities because of this. We only stayed one night but we could easily have stayed for more.
Cons: Our suite was a bit hard to find needing two lifts to get to but really can't complain about anything.
7.9 Good
Pros: clean and nicely located
Cons: 2 nights in a row the fire alarms went off. I can forgive one night but not two. And no compensation offered by management
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location for the theatre
Cons: Shower pressure very low. Rooms small but it’s London
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, central yet quiet as windows have extra soundproofing, got upgraded to a suite
Cons: the room was spotless however 2 small points we had two bottles of Conditioner in our bathroom instead of one shampoo and one conditioner and there was 1 packet of shortbread with 1 piece instead of 2 for a 2 person room. Very minor points and didn't impact our stay just thought I would make you aware
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. Beautiful lobby and structure.
Cons: The Fire alarm went off in our room at 4:30am causing me to jump out of bed hitting my shoulder which is now in pain several days later. The staff said it was an error. Plus the television did not work and the cold faucet in the bathroom did not work.
6.0 Good
Pros: The lobby was beautiful and it was a great location.
Cons: The rooms were tiny. There was no room to even open a suitcase. I expected more for the price. The elevators had issues as well and we had to carry our suitcases up stairs.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room in general was nice. Only window are not clean from outside
Cons: For deluxe room in room could be something more apart from bottle of water and sparking water. Well there was tea and coffe thats good

Pros: The location, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness
Cons: Too small a closet ( we stayed 9 nights) and the bed was too hard We kept the bathroom light on at night in the bathroom so we could see to go during the night. However the door was glass so there was a bright light on all night in the bedroom which was disturbing, .

Pros: Staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming
Cons: Breakfast was a bit haphazard, no glasses for juice, toast provided was burnt on one side, think staff were trying their best but seemed overwhelmed. Also have stayed multiple times over the year at this hotel and the one of the lifts is STILL being fixed months and months later

Cons: There was no hot water, which after a long flight, all I wanted was a hot shower. I ended up just washing my face in the sink because the shower was freezing. My light switch on my nightstand lamp was also broken. For the price per night of the hotel I would have expected these things to be functioning.

Pros: The decoration of the hostel, cleanliness of the room and bed, awesome breakfast served at a reasonable price. Although this hostel is located above a pub, it is quiet during night time and i slept well during my stay there. Free to deposit my luggages even after checking-out from the premise, for this i am extremely thankful for. After i checked-out, the receptionist just offered me if i would want to deposit my luggages even before i wanted to inquire about it. I am sure to come back!

9.2
Pros: For the money you cannot complain - under twenty pounds for a safe and comfortable single bed very close to Victoria coach station (10 mins) and rail & tube stations (5 mins further down the road). If you are prepared to share a room with others, you won't mind it. Definitely just a place to crash and nothing more, but staff were super friendly and the pub serves good beer. Just bring your own padlock to secure your valuables and a towel - these are essential items. If you don't you have to buy them at the reception (pub bar) - £4 for the padlock and £5 !

Pros: I really liked the crew there, everyone very charismatic and good to us. We were a couple and it was our first time together as hostel travelers, so we were a bit concerned. With that said, everything was on point, since the cleaning to the comfort. The bed is a good size and the mattresses are very good. The bathroom is very big and clean. On our floor, the first one, there is a bathroom with two sinks and many bath cabinets with sanitary, sink, shower, mirror and hand dryer. The location is the best one as it’s literally in front of buses stops. When you get the C10 to Victoria, you’re already in the center of the city within minutes. There is a Tesco right down the street. Summing up, i just have to thank and say that I’m definitely recommending to my friends and be back soon!

With a bus stop right in front of the hostel and the Victoria Station within walking distance you are very well connected, and also sights like Buckingham Palace, the Parliament and the Thames are within a walking distance of less than half an hour. The young staff is very friendly and courteous. Furthermore, as a resident of the hostel, one gets discounts in the pub and restaurant, where there is very tasty food and delicious beer and gin.

Pros:
Cons: The people who worked here were the dumbest losers I'd ever experienced. The guy at the front desk wouldn't book me in, he made me go online to book in even though I was standing at the front desk. I asked a simple question "how far is it to Westminster Bridge?" and the fool had no idea. Also the room I was in had 24 beds like a slave ship. The fool at the front desk couldn't even write the door code down properly so I was unable to enter the room. The breakfast was pathetic.

Pros: Location and some of the staff (everyone but Dom), and the trivia contest.
Cons: DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If you don't plan on using the bathroom or shower, it's fine. The bathroom floors are filled with water. I can't believe they find this acceptable. Also, Dom, an employee, offered me no help whatsoever when I wasn't able to charge my phone. I had a working electric adaptor and charger ( I know it worked, because I used it in a different location earlier that day) and I couldn't charge my phone which was dead. I needed a charged phone to set my alarm to wake up to catch my flight!!! I was forced by DOM's rudeness and indifference to stay up all nite so I wouldn't miss my morning flight!

Cons: I had a single room & it was very small, but ok. Breakfast is chaotic. The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor & isn't really large enough for the number of rooms / people. Cons: Staff on arrival . Arrived at 9pm having phoned ahead to advise of time. Told at reception that we couldn’t check in because we didn’t have ID. Hotel policy. This wasn’t mentioned on booking.com or on hotel website . Hotel happily took my cash in advance but then didn’t want to let us in even though we had proof of order , payment etc on paper print and email confirmation. After frustrating discussion with reception , then told that hotel had to be careful as previous night they had to call police to evict difficult guest who overstayed in room. Not impressed- and wondered what kind of place we had arrived at ! Then told that despite having paid extra for breakfast on booking.com , hotel wouldn’t accept this and we would have to pay again If we wanted breakfast. Appalling. Felt like we were being fleeced. Finally checked in and taken to basement ‘garden room’ - effectively basement room off back yard .Bathroom was also dirty . In morning had breakfast our elsewhere , despite having already paid for breakfast, but being refused by reception staff. Sorry - but we won’t be visiting again .

Cons: TINY room. Bathroom did not have a shower stall. Just a drainhole on the floor and a curtain. Not that I took a shower, because the water pressure was weak beyond belief. Heat gurgled all night, making lots of noise. Breakfast was meh.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location close to tube
Cons: Small room Bathroom not so good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the location was great. Safe area. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: I only wish it had air conditioning. We may not have minded but we ended up being there a few days when it was over 90 degrees. The staff did get us an extra fan though
5.8 Okay
Pros: The lift worked
Cons: Scruffy and run down
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed. Good sized room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pillow was very thin and only one per person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely nice and helpful!
Cons: Room was a little stuffy at first without AC. However, with opened windows and a fan, it cooled off quickly. May have been problematic if it were raining though.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the event we were attending and a reasonable price.
Cons: Breakfast was from 7am until 10am. Which means if a guest turned up 2 minutes before 10am they should still be offered a full breakfast. We arrived at 9.30am and already the staff were clearly away. We were able to have coffee and cereal, but yogurt and pastries were not refilled and there was no orange juice. This was disappointing
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No a/c , small room, window would not open enough to receive air. Small fan. Should have a sign about step down from bath room to bedroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a good location!
Cons: There was no air conditioning and the bathroom was pretty gross.

Pros: The location - Victoria station is a stone's throw away and there are some good shops, pubs and restaurants nearby The staff were brilliant and very helpful The breakfast was ideal for us (cereal, toast and tea, coffee and Apple juice) though fruit would have been appreciated
Cons: The room was tiny - especially the bathroom The shower had good pressure but no adjustable height so felt as if I was drowning at times The wifi had to be paid for There was a light switch coming off the wall The room was freezing The room was in need of a real makeover - the carpet was so worn that it was turning from red to brown
3.8 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Very dirty, small room, old windows, the blanket was full with other people hairs
3.3 Mediocre

5.4 Okay
Pros: Location great. Reception staff or owner friendly. Towels every day .
Cons: Small twin bedroom. Only white toast no brown. Had to ask for tea coffee sugar every day. No happy about the nail in the floor outside the shower. Which I constantly stood on. Tv too far away to watch properly. This was only our room not sure about other rooms.
4.2 Okay
Pros: It’s location
Cons: Looked like something out of the 1970s towels and bedding had holes in decor was disgusting shower cubicle was falling apart didn’t want to spend any more time than absolutely necessary on the hotel. Didn’t partake in free breakfast as didn’t feel clean enough to eat in
1.0 Poor
Pros: It did not seem to give us any bed bugs and it was close to Victoria station.
Cons: Pay for WiFi when it said it was included. Dirty. Awful mattress. Shower overflowed in 3 minutes. Shower cord was kinked waterflow sucked So cold you needed the space heater on all night. Only 2 of the 6 outlets worked. Loud. Thin walls. Toilet far away.

Cons: As above. Room was dusty and run down. Bedding cover smelled and carpet also smelled.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was filthy for which there is no excuse. Included breakfast was laughably disgusting. The lady for want of a better term of the word who seems to be an owner is very very rude and abused me for using the wrong disgusting coffee pot that was an old rusty perculator from the 1980’s
2.9 Mediocre
