Cons: There were some areas being fixed. I could hear drillings at 7 am! I was warned about the fixes, but they shouldn't start at 7 in the morning. I was sleeping at that time. Could have been better they started working a bit later around 8-9. Other than that, everything was great.

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant had good for and service. Bar was comfortable with a great bartender. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. The covered walkway to the airport was convenient and a nice feature.

Pros: This hotel is clean, modern, staffed with friendly, helpful people, and so easy to get to! A covered walkway takes you from Heathrow Airport straight to the hotel. The rooms are very reasonably priced. Will stay here again next time I come to London!

Cons: They did not have a fridge or microwave in the room. They also did not have any microwaves accessible on any floors and so if you arrive with food to warm up or after the kitchen is closed your only option is to eat junk out of the vending machines.

Thankfully I had cash but they did not take Malaysian Ringgit (hotel is looking in to this as they're at T4). Be aware there are limitations on how you can pay on arrival. Card, GBP sterling and only a few foreign currencies.

Pros: l REALLY loved the pillows which were the perfect consistency for me, squishy & soft but supportive. Room Service took a while, because l called at their busiest time, but when it finally arrived everything was truly delicious & l scoffed every morsel, with nothing wasted. Reception staff were fabulous too.
Cons: the contemporary switches and controls for things were too complexed for me, & l gave up trying to work out how to get water to come out the shower head over bath - it’s a bit too cool for school in that respect. I also couldn’t find a bottle opener anywhere to open the ginger beer I got with room service, so ended up taking the bottle home with me the next day, & had to go without that night. l couldn’t find a manual telling me where things were, or get past the home page of the TV menu, as it tells you to press a button which doesn’t actually exist on the Remote control. One of my work colleagues said they had the same issue, so l wasn’t the only person to experience that.

Cons: We had flown in from Hong Kong and were transiting overnight at Heathrow with an 8.20am departure the next morning. After check in at approximately 7.15pm, we stopped by the restaurant to make a dinner reservation for 7.45pm. Even though we could see that the restaurant has many empty tables, we were curtly advised by the restaurant staff that the earliest we could book would be 8.30pm. Given we were traveling with young children and we were all tired after our flights, we elected to go for room service. We ordered room service of 2 burgers, 1 kids fish and chips and 1 kids chicken and chips at 7.45pm. We were advised to allow 40 minutes (for a meal that would take 10 minutes to prepare). After waiting 45 minutes, we called to enquire of the status of our meal. We were told it would be another 15 minutes. They hastily cooked our meal and it arrived at 8.50pm. The children were mostly asleep by this stage and we were no longer interested either. The Pinot Noir was undrinkable. Staff were apologetic. We were not charged for our dinner. The whole experience gave the impression that the hotel trades on its location as the only hotel located at terminal 5.

Pros: Room was super clean and bed very comfortable. We checked in early and our room was not yet ready, but they were kind enough to give us a different room which was a kind of a downgrade, but we gladly accepted it as all we wanted was to go to sleep, after a night flight.
Cons: This comment is for Travelocity’s attention: the hotel would not recognize my Accor Hotel membership and would not credit my Accor account for this stay. Neither were they willing to give us access to the Club which is a courtesy they normally give Accor members. All of this was because we did not book directly with Accor, rather through Travelocity. We understand that this is Accor’s policy and not Travelocity’s fault, but, if you want to keep us as customer, can’t you work with the hotel chain to remedy this shortcoming?

Pros: Sofitel is not a cheap option, but after a long haul flight it’s great to have the hotel right at the terminal. Fabulous breakfast and great soundproofing sets you up ready for the next leg of your travels.
Cons: My case was delayed so I would have liked extra touches expected in a higher end hotel. A bathrobe and toothbrush, comb and hair conditioner would have been nice. Also we were made to queue on checking in as we got stuck behind a plane full of people whose flight had been cancelled. We had a confirmed booking so it would have been appreciated if we could have checked straight in. Staff very friendly and helpful at reception and concierge the following day. I think we were unlucky with a bad patch at check in.

Cons: As a Le Club Accor member I have stayed at numerous Sofitel's across the world. The staff at Heathrow Sofitel were uninformed for a airport hotel and the service was substandard. Although the bed was very comfortable the room lights randomly turned on in the middle of the night, in both rooms waking us. The tv's did not work due to flat batteries in the remotes and the expected niceties for this brand of hotel and at this cost such as a bottle of water didn't exist. Pros: The proximity to Heathrow Terminal 5 was excellent and it was very easy to find when exiting baggage claim. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Room had no amenities that are necessary for turnover travellers such as a mini-bar for easy refreshments and iron and ironing board. Those are really two items that I need at my fingertips when I'm doing a quick layover with late arrival and early departure. Really poor for a hotel that claims 5 stars. They should understand the needs of their guests. Some of the new and innovative airport hotels could definitely challenge the Sofitel.

Pros: It was located next to the terminal 5. If you have a early flight, or in case there is any sudden change of your flight schedule, this hotel would be a best choice. Additionally, the breakfast is quite impressive if ever you have a time to eat in their "buffet-style" restaurant before you leave.
Cons: The staff was very rude, especially when they are pointed out that they made a mistake in billing by over-charging their guest. Instead of apology, I was just given a rude / unprofessional gesture and comments as if they did not do anything wrong.

After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.

Cons: 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money

Pros: The room was ground floor easy to reach and quiet, breakfast had plenty of choice and brought to my room the bed was king size and very comfortable. I was there only for one night so I did not have time to explore the hotel itself. The staff and at Reception / Front desk were really nice and helpful. Very kind staff. If I need to be in Terminal 4 again I will use the Hilton Hotel again. I had a worry free relaxing stay. They were lovely to me.

Cons: My only complaint is that the website doesnt make it clear how far away from the majority of the airport it is. Heathrow is a *giant* airport. If youre not used to these or you've never been to LHR, plan extra time & expect to walk much more than you'd expect. I was traveling with my elderly father & booked this hotel because it was "close and convenient" and he didnt want to take the tube to a hotel. We came in via Terminal 3, and it was a good 30 minute hike (inc inter-airport shuttle). We didnt realize you could call for a cart from Terminal 4 to the hotel lobby & my dad had a lot of trouble walking the distance. The clerk at the hotel told us to plan 30-45 minutes to walk back to Term 3 in the morning, or 10 minutes via cab (20 pounds for a cab, 10 for an uber). The sad thing was, I specifically confirmed the hotel I had originally planned was only a 30 minute tube ride and 3 minute walk away from the stop, so joke was on my dad. Also, room service is quite expensive (which may be the case with all Hiltons or London hotels). Worked out to be about $60 for 2 hamburgers/fries and a cokes.

Well, only just: and after a long walk from terminal 2 to terminal 3 to take the Heathrow Express to terminal 4, followed by another long walk to the hotel, one might be forgiven for wondering if an off-campus hotel might not have been easier and more convenient to reach. It took me at least a half hour, bags in hand, to stagger from the Customs Hall to the hotel. Be aware!

Cons: The hotel is located a long ways from the international terminal which in itself isn't bad. The only way to get to the hotel though is to take a 14 dollar (round trip) bus from the terminal to the hotel. The bus only takes British pounds and doesn't take a credit card. This is the only major airport I think I've ever been to without hotel courtesy shuttles. Very disappointed with my 45 minute, 14 dollar commute to a hotel that's advertised as an airport hotel. The hotel also charges 20 dollars a day for internet. It's hard to believe the Motel 6 doesn't charge for internet and places like the Hilton still do.

Pros: Breakfast was tasty but if you wanted more juice or seconds it took quite some time. We were never given enough cutlery which meant going up again and getting food cold.
Cons: The room we first had the toilet seat was left quite dirty. I was given a slightly smaller room and no one offered to help me, with 2 kids pack again and move rooms. The next day the bathroom floor flooded in the evening at bedtime. I was offered another room. I had to pack again and no assistance offered. However the lady at reception refunded my parking back. Which she did herself I did not ask for it. Overall our 2 night stay in 3 different rooms became stressful and not enjoyable. I felt unsupported in having to move around. It was quite a shame as we were really looking forward to our first hotel staycation after so long. First room phone also would not work so couldn't call reception and the remote control didn't work.

The Hilton Garden Inn was ideal. It is located close to Terminal 4, and gave us a good place to stay for the night. Staff are very helpful.

Pros: It was fine for the 4 hours we spent there. We needed to spend the night at the airport since we had a 6:30 am flight and there was no transportation to get us there 2 hrs. ahead of the flight. We got there around 11-12 pm and got up at 3:30 am.
Cons: It was frustrating get to and from the hotel since no shuttle was available. We took a slow bus from the heathrow express train stop and had to take a taxi to heathrow a few hours later. A lot of trouble for a major hotel chain located at the airport.

Cons: Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.

Cons: The hotel was closed on my arrival. A complete joke. I paid £ 25.00 for a black cab to bring me there from the terminal 5, and when we arrive in front of the hotel, all doors are shut, with a small message on the door saying that they had to close because of Covid-19. The least they could have done, was to contact all the open reservations and tell guests of the hotel shutting down. A pretty bad publicity and attitude for a Hilton Hotel. I guess that this group lost me as a client for a long time, if not for ever.

Pros: This hotel is a great airport hotel it’s far enough out of the way to avoid being over crowded. The staff are great the facilities are clean and well maintained. The gym is well equipped and the pool is nice if not a bit cold.

This made my experience in the 'Executive' lounge a big disappointment. I was surprised to be charged £5.00 for the bus to the terminal, shuttle bus usually means hotel operated elsewhere in the world.

Shuttle busses also do not run to terminal 3, but require taking a bus to terminal 5 and then another bus to terminal 3, or the expence of hiring a cab to get you there

Cons: I booked because it was so close to the airport and had an overnight layover. In the morning, I came down to get a taxi and was told it would be 45 mins! I ended up downloading Uber and it took about 20 mins but this is something that DEFINITELY should have been warned about when checking in (considering my plane ended up taking off about 400 meters from the hotel).

Pros: The gentleman running the lodge was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The room and bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a fridge and, hairdryer but managed fine without them. Only ventilation was via a window opening onto a busy noisy road at ground level. The window had no security stop so I couldn't leave it open overnight.

Pros: The staff were excellent. Although we had a very noisy and very inconvenient fire alarm go off, the staff handled it and recovered from it very well. The lobby and common facilities are also excellent.

Cons: When I arrived to the Hotel 2:10am, the room was no longer available and they send me to another hotel 20min driving away. There was no communication between the original hotel and the new hotel so I had to wait for 30mins in the new hotel so they could sort the booking. In the Heathrow T5 there was no parking space available so you need to risk parking in the double line outside. Really bad experience.

Cons: The hotel is located close to the international terminal so I feel as though they should expect international travelers. The cash machine only worked for people that were from Britain so in order to get cash we had to go somewhere else. Also, I would have liked to have washcloths in the bathrooms.
