Pros: Located in Deptford, I mistakenly booked this instead of the Riverside Hilton (the one with the hotel cross river boat). It's just OK, located close to the DLR (3 mins walk) makes it convenient to get to Canary Wharf (11 stops I believe). Rooms (9/10) Size : Very small. Cleverly designed (except for the (wet) towel rack hanging over the toilet paper dispenser) with plentiful tea and coffee facilities. There's a wardrobe and a desk. TV is quite large for the room. Fridge, iron and board and a safe box all supplied. Everything seemed spotlessly clean. Bed (8/10): The mattress was happily of soft-firm variety (not the overly soft mattresses you find in some hotels) and suited us perfectly. The bed is a little on the small size though (a double instead of a queen perhaps?) and that meant my wife and I ‘bumped’ into each other’ too often ! AC / Heating (10/10): Worked perfectly. Quiet and efficient. Bathroom (7/10) : looks new and clean. The shower pressure and water temperature were very good (though hated the three square rotary controls - without markings of any nature). Location (6/10) : As mentioned above there is the Deptford DLR just 3 mins walk away and there is a large Tesco for any supermarket items you may require on the way to the DLR (so 3 mins away). Breakfast 8/10 : Not a bad selection of juices, cereal (both muesli & granola, hooray!), cold meats and cheese and cooked foods. Large selection of teas too though the espresso machine was broken so only the usual awful hotel coffee (as in every hotel everywhere!) on offer. Staff readily agreed to crisp my bacon to perfection for me (it is supplied rather too flabby for my liking). Fried eggs always suffer from pre-cooking and awaiting attention in a bain-marie. Overall 7/10 : Disappointing overall for a Hilton (those in Asia especially are far better) but sufficient for our needs at that time.

Overall 7/10 : Disappointing overall for a Hilton (those in Asia especially are far better) but sufficient for our needs at that time.
Cons: Bathroom : Definitely needs another safety handle on the wall to the side of the shower door, otherwise the floor felt slippy and there is nothing to hold onto as you exit the shower. Towels are soft and sufficient as were the supplied toiletries. TV : Poor. Whilst the TV size and quality was OK the TV was angled down and stubbornly refused to allow itself to be re-angled for comfortable viewing. The remote was in collusion and refused to operate the TV after the first day (we didn’t use the TV much after we lost our hand to hand combat to re-angle it, so forgot to report this). The USB charger next to the bed doesn’t work (in any room) so they have supplied an alarm clock with the USB slot instead, that is it though and we found that poor for a hotel of their repute (the reception were out of rechargers too - we had forgotten ours in the last hotel we stayed at).

Pros: There were no staff on site. The fire alarm went off... everyone gathered near front door. One guest turned off alarm but it was still lit up. Only number available was the cleaners who said she would come at 10 in morning. She also said that the alarm had gone off a few times during day time hours. We asked her to call manager and she said she would call back but she didnt. I called fire brigade who came out to check and said that steam from a shower had set it off... but that the alarm system was faulty and needed fixing. My bedding was smelly and bathroom bin still had rubbish in it.

Pros: Clean
Cons:
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and little else.
Cons: A stale dusty smell greeted us each time we entered the room. My wife came out in hives in an allergic reaction, suggesting the room was not properly vacuumed. Furniture, fittings and bathroom appointments are old and tired. Shower tap so tight almost impossible to adjust, and nearly got got burnt by hot water as a result. Shower soap holder totally loose.
9.6 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: No water connection in toilet. It took time to fill water tank to flush toilet.
6.0 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: I informed the hotel at time of booking that I would be leaving with a tour group at 6:30am. No effort was made with alternate breakfast suggestions due to early start. I arranged for a packed breakfast to be ready at 5:45am - on arrival at the desk no breakfast had been ordered and made for me. The woman attending at the desk begrudgingly made me up a pack. Other customers leaving on the tour who were entitled to breakfast went without as staff had not given them any options when they checked in. Disappointing.

Pros: The location of the hotel is amazing. Lot's of restaurants, nice places to go and a good connection to public transportations. Greenwich itself is just wonderfull.
Cons: The toilet didn't work quite well. We complained about it, got help but it still didn't work very well. Also the last renovation seemed to be in the long term past. We had all we need but for the price the room was too worn and the bathroom was not completely functioning.

Pros: Really comfy bed, great sized rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Well located for the O2 (use the bus).
Cons: Our window didn't open and we seemed to have the hottest room in the world (without any heating being on)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, excellent service and staff and the rooms were very clean and comfortable
Cons:
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Once again the staff at the hotel were informative and really helpful as had been the case on our previous visit
Cons: Tea and coffee at breakfast could be better
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Breakfast and fantastic staff that took notice of peoples requirements.
Cons: There was only one tea/coffee/latte auto machine that caused people to queue and it was situated directly to the left of the outside the service exit from the kitchens, this resulted in a near miss as someone exited from the kitchen without consideration that someone was walking away from the tea /coffee machine with a very hot drink. This in my case resulted in a very near miss of collision with staff exiting the kitchen with my very hot drink. The hotel needs to upgrade/replace their existing toasters. All said, the staff and hotel were very very good.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were welcoming
Cons: Rooms tired and dated and breakfast very much what you would get in a Premiere Inn very average for what I would have expected of a De Vere hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good location, good breakfast
Cons: We went to the bar for a drink after our arrival only to find most of the tap beer was off due to a lack of gas this in itself is a minor issue but put the bar attendant under pressure as she also had to take food orders physically to the kitchen as the computer system was not working properly, we and other customers pointed this out to other staff members at reception and that she needed help, this was met with "she will just need to manage" which does not help the customer experience. The Bar Attendant did the best she could and should be commended for her work. It seems to me that there are a lot of managers at this hotel who don't want to get their hands dirty.
9.0 Excellent

5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious, bathroom nice & clean. The location is excellent.
Cons: A key was needed to open internal doors and operate lift. The corridors smelt horrible. The room had a tiny wardrobe, lacked a full length mirror, the paint work was flaky and the plug sockets loose.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect for us and our travel requirements. Room was quiet (even though it faced the main road) and we slept well. There was a grip bar well placed by the shower which was over the bath Breakfast had a good choice and the buffet was reasonably warm.
Cons: The bathroom is clearly in need of refurbishment. There is far too much mould in the usual areas. The flooring is well worn.

Pros: We were very pleased with the location. Although we had been told by booking.com messenger that the property could not provide gluten free products for breakfast, they in fact did, so that came as a pleasant surprise. Pros: Location
Cons: The breakfast was over cooked, cooked in old dirty oil the bacon was rock hard and the eggs were black and crispy. Waste of £8.50
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly when you could find them
Cons: Where shall I start? The website says something like elegantly decorated, well they aren’t. Our room was freezing, radiator didn’t work, we were told manager would be in the next day and he would look at it and then given extra blankets. Nobody looked at it and it was the same the next night. Had to hunt down a hairdryer, hunt down a plug for the bath. Only had bedside tables with drawers in, apart from that, nowhere to put clothes except a rail in the corner. A small table with coffee and tea was the only other item if furniture apart from the small double bed. There was no space in the bathroom except on the top of the toilet. Carpets were dirty

Pros: Perfect location for o2 arena.Greenwich market & Cutty sark etc. Friendly atmosphere. Good food and service.
Cons:
1.0 Poor
Pros: Staff was good.
Cons: Almost everything. The building is falling apart and to be fair, we were told it’s due for a major overhaul soon, but as it is it’s not really fit for habitation. Toilts and TVs not working, lamps almost non existent, chef not available for breakfast, dirty carpets in the halls, etc. room was clean and baths were ok.
6.0 Good
Pros: Premium location, but that’s it.
Cons: Very rough mattress, useless shower with zero water pressure, slippery tub and no safety grab bar. No handheld shower head. Breakfast is very basic continental, upgrade cost as much as a full breakfast somewhere else. Idiotic check in system through the noisy bar.
