Pros: Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending.

Pros: Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff and a probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. We were there for our wedding night and the hotel very kindly upgraded us to an executive suite. The fact the hotel manager had hand-written a (fairly lengthy) congratulations card, and left us some 'congratulations' sweets and cakes was also a very thoughtful touch.
Would highly recommend for a treat or anyone looking for a bit of luxury in London.

Cons: Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.

Pros: The location was perfect - central to tons to see and do in London. I was nervous about noise from the street, but didn't have any major problems. The staff is friendly and courteous, everything was clean and modern, and their restaurant and bar were good. I was skeptical when booking the hotel online because of the decor (pink and green crushed velvet, really?!) but the questionable interior design didn't take much away from the fact that the hotel was clean and modern. I did end up upgrading to a king deluxe as I was worried about the size, so that helped (and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful).

We also like the option to include breakfast with our stay.

Cons: The housekeeping each day was just okay. Some days they didn't give us more than one wash cloth (there were two of us) and other days they left the windows open in our room. We were also disappointed with the breakfast each day. We would've like the buffet to include a few more options for the price. On the mornings that we ordered breakfast from the kitchen, it was often slow and the service was not that great. Other than those minor things, we enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street.

At Kimpton Fitzroy London, we have stories galore to tell. From the outside, the palatial 19th-century landmark building, which occupies a full block in Bloomsbury, looks the part of grande dame. Inside are contemporary creature comforts like roomy, art-filled suites with views over Russell Square, a cocktail bar that keeps the Negronis flowing, and a come-as-you-are coffee shop just steps from the Tube. All of these details beckon modern travelers to settle in and stay a while.

Pros: The whole hotel is beautiful and interesting, like something out of Upstairs, Downstairs. Our room was especially lovely, with a canopy bed, marble bathroom and all the amenities.
Cons: The cost of eating or drinking in the hotel was unbelievably high. We ate breakfast there one day but quickly learned that a Manger, nearby, had better food for much less money.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location was excellent on Russell Square with a Cafe Nero and Pret a Manger next door. The breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend adding that to your package. The bathrooms were some of the largest I have seen in Europe.
Cons: The staff at Hotel Russell did not measure up to the overall customer service I experienced in England as a whole. They are less than accommodating to guests who booked through discount websites and treat guests who booked directly with them better. The interior is very dated and needs renovation. My friends room on the first night had a very strong cleaning chemical odor. It was unbearable for them because they have some sensitivities. The hotel was unable to move them to another room and we ended up switching rooms with them. The wifi at this hotel is spotty at best. I would not refuse to stay at this hotel again but I would probably avoid it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location. Historic building with attractive public spaces. Good shower with adequate water pressure.
Cons: Although my room charges were fully prepaid, the front desk clerk insistent on selling me breakfast, which I did not want, and in putting a 50 pound per day hold on my credit card, even though I said I was not going to use any of the hotel's restaurants.
Difficult to get into the room because a large cupboard had been situated directly insider the door, almost blocking the passageway into and out of the room.

Pros: I love everything about this hotel... Receptionists lovely smiles and Bell Men's great friendly service are the best in the world.
Cons: I asked for late check out and was promised for free until 2pm and possible for free until 4pm but askedto recheck next morning. The next day I checked, they said it will be at 125 pounds until 2pm. Quite confused why the change? but was a bit insulted when the person taking the call (The Manger) doubted my fact that I was offered free until 2pm and said we will need to recheck in a week when the receptionist is back and we might charge you. Quite an unacceptable attitude. However, I still believe it is the best hotel in London.

Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hostel itself is situated in nice proximity to several underground stations and within a walking distance to Regent Street and Oxford Street, which make for a great evening stroll. Beds are comfortable, there are small dressers, which you can secure with a padlock, and your stuff is fine. Wi-Fi is available in the common area, which was fine by me, as I didn't spend much time in the room - mostly out, sightseeing. Had a very nice meal a couple of times in a hostel, which was available even at a late hour. Check-in is fast and easy, check-out as well; plus, I got to keep my suitcase in a luggage room for a while longer, before I was due to depart for the airport. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Cons: If you have a sensitive sleep, like me, you might want to invest in earplugs (roommates can snore!) - bought them at "Boots", but I don't think the hostel had them, which is the sole improvement needed (otherwise, a lot of stuff is available on loan/for purchase at the reception).

Pros: The location is unbeatable, the staff is quite friendly, welcoming and helpful. Despite the obvious age of the building, the interior is pepped up and the cleanliness is impeccable! A range of freshly prepared dishes for dinner right at the hostel bar is a great bonus! Considering that it's London the value for money is great!

Pros: Amazing location - right near Oxford street. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the general atmosphere was nice and friendly.
Cons: Ran into some maintenance issues in my short stay. Maybe it was a coincidence, but probably not.

Cons: Some areas of the hostel are less comfy than others. In the orange zone where I stayed there were not too many showers and the sinks were only available in the rooms, which is suboptimal if you do not want to wake the whole room on an early start (or a late return from a night out). The rooms were too minimalistic in the orange area - personal lights and power outlets on the bunks would be an easy thing to add and would bring a lot of added comfort.

The Grafton’s 330 bedrooms include elegant single, double and family rooms, as well as 10 deluxe suites. Thanks to the building's 19th century heritage, no two rooms are the same but they all feature luxurious furnishings, Italian marble bathrooms, 350 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding and down pillows. Cutting edge in-room technology is available, including free high-speed WiFi up to 150mbps on unlimited devices. A 24 hour fitness room is available for guests needing to revitalise while 11 meeting rooms provide a range of spaces to suit anything from 2-150 guests. Steak and Lobster delivers the finest steak and freshest lobster to your plate. We believe simplicity is key and let the food speak for itself. Celebrating the finest from land and sea, our signature cuts and lobsters can be enjoyed in their purest form straight from the charcoal grill, on a baked brioche roll or through other exquisite combinations. Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent
Cons: Breakfast doesn't match the cost.
6.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was quite good and the beds were comfortable. There's a metro station and a bus stop right next to the hotel.
Cons: The rooms are small for the price we pay (yes, we realize that London is expensive, but still)! The a/c didn't work well (our room was rather cold even after we selected 21ºC on the thermostat). Also, the acoustics are, as is typical in old buildings, lousy. If someone talks outside your door you can hear everything. A final remark is that in the evenings the lobby smells strongly of fish/seafood - probably due to the restaurant on the premises, but it's pretty unpleasant.
6.2 Good
Pros: Marena (server in the restaurant) really hustled and kept good cheer despite being very busy. Other staff offered very good service, as well. Breakfast buffet was well appointed and tasty.
Cons: Very poor value for the money. The room was quite cramped, awkward layout, and noisy (even though the front desk said it was the quiet side of the hotel). Seating in the room and throughout the hotel common area is old and uncomfortable. I won't go back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, a minute from a very central metro station, one stop from Oxford Circus. Just down the Hotel a lot of restaurants and coffee shops (Starbucks, Pret, Mac...) The WiFi is excellent and Fast. The room is very clean, tidy and very well equipped.
Cons: The room service let me down the first day I arrived,,, I asked for a wake up call and never received it or at least an apology. The room size was small, though it is not a big deal.

Pros: The location was excellent and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room was noisy (not unusual in London) the TV in my room did not work and the bathroom was very dated.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - very close to Regent's Park and close to multiple tube stations.
Cons: I was expecting something slightly roomier for the star level (the bathroom was quite tight - you had to straddle the toilet to shut the door), but otherwise we had no issues with the hotel.

Pros:
Cons: TV did not work. Left a message to room service over the phone about it. No one got back to me.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, location is great, and overall the place was clean and well-run. Professional.
Cons: Wifi was terrible. I mean, really really bad. In 2016, it was pre-dial-up speeds. On this alone, I may consider another hotel next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can't say enough good things, from staff to room everything was great. Would and will stay there again. They will go out of there way to help you.
Cons: Only downside if there is one is that the bathrooms are a bit small but I think that is a London thing. My son and his wife Stayed at a more expensive Boutique hotel and his bathroom was 1/3 the size. His room was half the size of ours.

Pros: Location and hotel were excellent. Only disappointment and reason for some of my lower scores was the breakfast which ended up being very expensive as we went for the full breakfast option but the cooked food was not of the standard of the rest of the hotel, scrambled eggs were cold and fried eggs not properly cooked. I was also upset when staff clearing the plates said I was greedy and should take less food in future instead of leaving food, i pointed out the food was not edible due to being cold.

Quick walk to the Bakerloo, Regents Park tube station. Quite a few reasonably priced restaurants of varying cuisine within a few minutes walk as well as some local stores to beat the usual high end hotel 5£ for a water type issues.
Cons: Top end room on "The Level" had a large but worn spring mattress that was a let down after the luxury presentation everywhere else.
Very few sockets of any kind. Switches that did nothing instead of sockets or ports charging items. I had to pull out the end table to locate a free socket by the bed. Only one by the desk. For an otherwise modern hotel this was just..odd.
I was assigned room 830 and you heard the elevator the entire time. Lack of foresight around putting in some sound proofing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: good location near Regents Park
Cons: room size -queen room the smallest the cost of bottles of water about £4 per bottle bathroom dated
6.2 Good
Pros: The location is great
Cons: Outdated and in some cases malfunctioning fittings. The hotel looks tired. It was also not helped by the fact the lobby is undergoing renovations.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Heating not working, no tea bags in the room, no reply from reception when asking for tea bags in the morning. When I complained again when leaving all they said was thank you for your comments, no apology. If it had been a restaurant I would have refused to pay the full price but I'd already paid in advance although I was tempted to contact my credit card company and reclaim. (Which I've never done in my life.)
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Coffe In the room
Cons: Sistem was down when arrival
Had to wait 1 hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed from the beginning, we spent 4 days there and it was ideal for touring London. The staff was very helpful, especially Ryan and Vitail.
Cons: Every thing was fine
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and hotel were excellent. Only disappointment and reason for some of my lower scores was the breakfast which ended up being very expensive as we went for the full breakfast option but the cooked food was not of the standard of the rest of the hotel, scrambled eggs were cold and fried eggs not properly cooked. I was also upset when staff clearing the plates said I was greedy and should take less food in future instead of leaving food, i pointed out the food was not edible due to being cold.
Cons: As explained above the breakfast
7.7 Good
Pros: they were able to hold our bags for us for 6 days while we traveled around Europe and then we came for back a final night there before heading out from Heathrow airport.
Cons: We had booked 2 beds as we were 2 friends traveling together, upon check in, we were informed that there were only rooms with 1 bed available and that out reservation was just a "request" and not a guarantee. It was a king bed so we made it work.
The rooms were tiny and stuffy. The A/C didn't work, and with the window open it was very noisy. They did bring up a fan for us and that helped.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast service was very slow. Tea and coffee took 30 minutes to get. Otherwise everything else was very good
Cons: Better service for tea and coffee. Get the person who sits you down to take order for drinks.

But I think it’s not working for quite sometime and they somehow pass on. Less bathroom and toilets, which were not maintained regularly. It had tissues all over the sides of bathroom.

Pros: Location was great and breakfasts very substantial though the fruit was disappointing.
Cons: Your receptionist took £2778 off my husbands card instead of £278 and although owning up immediately, it took about 2 days for the money to be back in my husband’s account. Also our first room was far too warm as we couldn’t turn off the radiator. After several visits from a member of staff, he had to admit defeat. As it was almost midnight by this time, we declined another room until the morning as we were very tired and slept with an open window despite the traffic noise. The second room was much better.

Pros: Great hostel - it was clean and the bedsheets were nice and crisp. It has the typical cool decor you see these days. There are 2 USB ports built into the bed (no plug for laptop near the bed though). Locker box in the room for your stuff. Very friendly staff. The female dorm I stayed in had mirrors on the wall above a long table with several chairs so more than one of you can get ready at once, and loads of gooks on the walls for jackets, etc. Matress was covered in a thick plastic type thing so you know they can clean them properly. In a nice area of London; a 5-minute walk to the nearest tube station which is well connected to other stations, and no more than a 25-minute walk to most of the areas of interest in central London. The hostel is surrounded by some really great coffee shops and restaurants too!

Cons: This hostel has many rooms but it has only 6 bathroom for 1 floor and a key of bathroom was suck so we could take shower only 3 rooms, and everything have to pay for comfortable
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is central and had a good bar/ restaurant on site
Cons: We were initially given the wrong room (6 bed dorm) although we selected a smaller room. Then the replacement room had not yet been cleaned when we swapped. After staying in the sister hostel in Miami for much cheaper and many hostels around the world, I was disappointed with this one and the fact that everything had an additional charge. I guess that's England for you!
8.0 Excellent

Cons: You need to take your own padlock for the lockers in the rooms and towels cost £4. If you're a very light sleeper then it might be a little noisy for you but honestly, it isn't that bad compared to some other hostels I've stayed. Shower rooms could be a little nicer but again, they're pretty standard!

Cons: The mornings were rough .You had to time it right to get a sink in the bathroom. Everyone seemed to need the showers at the same time. You just have to try to avoid the busy times.

Cons: First room had extensive mold in bathroom. Bed linen was old and worn, hallways smelled of dampness. I have pixs which night manager was not interested in seeing and was VERY RUDE! No living person should have been put there!! Next room was ok. Breakfast was very limited and crowded and noisy. U had to pay extra £5 for eggs and bacon, usually cold.
We were told hotel chain was biggest in Europe and I’ll add WORSE in Europe. Will never book hotel on internet again because I had no recourse to get my money back!!! I will only call hotel directly and pay AFTER my stay , so if I’m not happy I can go elsewhere.
PS, hotel dining room resembled “Grade school cafeteria, hall pass was issued that you had to show to get in”
