Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.
Think it was a little expensive
Room service was good, if pricey. £5 for a pint of diet coke!
When I signed in I felt as if I was being judged. Did I REALLY need an accessible room?? Single or double?? I had pre-booked & prepaid... I had asked for a room close to the lifts due to limited mobility. I had been bedbound for the last 12 months... So I was put in the room furthest from the lifts!!! Earlier in the day I had fallen from a train at Gatwick & was in a lot of pain... In the past I have found the staff helpful, not this time. When I left I complained, & was kept standing, waiting for the manager to apologize...
Location is the best thing about the hotel. Rooms badly need redecorating, painting and bathroom needs new tiling. Corridors are much better than the room. Bit tired and dated so doesnt look clean, although it was. Man at reception was efficient but unfriendly !
Bathroom needs updating and retiling so that it looks cleaner ! Bedroom needs good coat of paint/wallpaper
Not a lot it’s a big boring hotel
Lights in room didn’t work properly and litter left in room behind a chair and the bed was not that comfy
The staff were very obliging and helpful.
Staying alone I am more inclined to get room service. I’m gluten free and felt the menu was quite limited. But to be fair I didn’t ask if there were other options not shown on the menu
