Faded glory but a pleasant stay
Reception staff and concierges excellent - however not friendly when called from room. Good range of facilities and pleasant lounge area, iron on room, overall gives the impression of a good hotel though a little faded
Reception staff, while mainly excellent, not friendly when called from room. Bathroom was not very clean on the first day. Rooms are faded and old-fashioned, especially bathroom.
needs a lot of work to improve
Location
cleanliness needs improving. Some of the staff at reception are rude and unprofessional. The lifts take ages. The AC in.some rooms not working. We had to change rooms.
Great hotel
Near tube, cafes, shop's etc. Nice buzz about.
unhospitable and uninformed staff
Location
Quiet hotel in central London
Better than expected
Great value for money. Good sized room. Breakfast was really tasty. There have been negative reviews about this hotel, please ignore.
Great value in excellent location
Excellent location Comfortable Good breakfast
Doormen need to greet people
Very average.
It was a very reasonably priced hotel especially for London. It is very self-contained, several restaurants and bars, that are open late. It also has a take it to go, snack and breakfast cafe. It is close to the tube.
The air conditioning is not up to the task, especially when the temperature spikes in the summer. The hotel is dated, old look, old furniture, etc.
Great location
Rooms were a bit tiredlooking
Great for theatre break and weekend away
Position, good value for money, friendly staff
Room was above train track ( London Underground) so was very busy
Location to underground. It is five minutes to the station and easy to use. Also, the breakfast is very good. The Chinese Bistro was good too.
We were pleased with everything. The hotel however, gets quite busy.
Good value for money
