Close to West End. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Too hot as the air con doesn’t go below 18°c. Unfeasible to have window open because of the outside noise. The bed was so high I couldn’t get into it (ok I’m only 4’11”) ended up having to have a shop stool. Couldn’t see the tv from the bed as one of the posts of the four poster was in the way. Bed uncomfortable and pillows cheap and flat. Bathroom was unbearably hot, unable to turn down radiator. The safe was almost on the floor, had to get on hands and knees to use it.
Feels like you are part of history, super location. Great bedding
Some rooms are too tight, particularly the bathrooms
Amazing. My gf and I had a fantastic stay. We were about as comfortable and relaxed as you could possibly hope to be.
Best? It's individuality...it's quality...it's quirkiness. The staff were super & so accommodating. I can find good service lacking in the UK these days & it bothers me!! I was a barmaid & waitress for years & gave fantastic service...only now I don't experience it very often, do I realise how significant it truly is!! So, for me Hazlitt's is a microcosm of our intrinsic & historical British character at its best...& which, despite it all, is still very much alive
Only that I thought breakfast was included, but it's not an issue, my mistake!
