Pros: the whole ambiance of the Savoy the tradition, the courtesy of all staff and food not over priced, love the afternoon teas
Cons: the room was too hot not able to open window and the constant drone of the vent in the bathroom, shower door a bit too close as you open door to enter room, collides with shoulder as you enter bathroom, please try to make more visible. didn't like the long walk from the lifts to our room as not being of the younger set walking is a little too much but not a big problem

Cons:

Pros: Wonderful staff, welcoming and friendly. Top quality food and great fun overall. Loved the boys carol service.
Cons: Private lounge for guests - all areas seemed open to the public. It would have been lovely to have had a roaring fire and books/magazines to relax with. We felt we had to order expensive drinks to sit in the open areas.

Pros: Everything was what I would have expected of a hotel with the name of The Ritz. The staff were so helpful and all areas (including public rooms) were spotless. We couldn't see how it could have been improved on.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine and should not be messed about with.

Pros: The staff can't do enough for you, great relaxed atmosphere, Christmas decorations were superb and just added to the cosiness of the hotel. Facilities were excellent, but the staff really made it and I was looked after and thoroughly enjoyed my time sampling the Ritz brand of cigars.
Cons: The room was a little tired. But I mean a little, and it didn't spoil our stay. Second day breakfast was slow. We were a table of two in the centre of some larger tables that our waiter spent more time talking and having fun with. This was nice for them, but we were a little over looked, and we had to ask again for items that were missed from our order. - A very small point, and didn't detract from our overall stay.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: For the money for the hotel the service was not to a standard i would expect late check in were not made aware of bar for residents of the hotel until late last night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and really made my mums birthday extra special
Cons: Wouldn’t say I didn’t like, but was really surprised that there wasn’t a T tray in the room
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast Room Service (as restaurant was not open before I had to leave).
Cons: Everything else - courteous, but very unhelpful staff in resolving issues and making guests feel comfortable. Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Pros: Perfect location and the staff were amazing. So friendly and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and light. The bed was very comfortable and free bottle waters were a nice touch. Amazing en-suite, nice powerful shower.
Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Pros: Location was perfect for London tourism (safe and within walking distance of everywhere). The hotel concierges and another gentleman whose name I didn''t catch were extremely helpful!
Cons: The desk chair legs (room 633) stuck out and the tight quarters meant that my toes got smashed. I humbly suggest a different chair. I know that space is limited but having a lounge w/ desks or couches (not part of the restaurant) would be nice.

Pros:

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and elegant stay, not to mention the perfect location. The staff at the door entrance are great.
Cons: Staff is professional but impersonal. The hotel doesn't have a comfortable area open for residents to sit and relax at any point in time. The tea room is great but has specific opening hours and also external guests which makes it partially convenient. The blinds in the rooms are not possible to remove which deteriorates the feeling of the nice view.

Pros: The club lounge staff were excellent and very friendly. The location of the hotel was close to everything.
Cons: The taxi service was very limited due to road work. The hotel seemed to be understaffed. We requested a late check out and were given a 2:00pm checkout only to be called twice and had housekeeping come into the room while I was getting in the shower . They let us know that their next guests had already arrived and were waiting for the room. Our stay included airport transfers and we had given them all our flight departure information, but on our departure day they had not arranged transportation and we had to just pay for a taxi ourselves. The hotel felt like it needed more organization . The hotel is in a historic building and the walk from the lift to our room was very long. The lifts were also were creaky and half way during our stay one lift quit working.

Pros:
Cons: Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Considering all my friends and family WHO I HAD BOOKED & PAID FOR had WAY BIGGER rooms, I thought it was pretty shabby. The hotel is tired (late 90's/early 00's decor) and I think the low price reflects it. Needs to be taken over by a new group as it could be one of London's best in terms of location. When you see a pull-up display banner in the bar/tea area, you know they're heading towards cheap-hotel-ville.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.
Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Pros: Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.

Pros:
Cons: The rooms are small, old and run down. Worst value for the money.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location, excellent staff and fabulous breakfast
Cons: Room quite hot, Windows not to be opened and airco being a bit noisy
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I have a serious complaint about the stay last night on top of a previous stay last week, basically the Hotel management allow occupiers of the 8th floor suites to play loud music until any time they wish, to the detriment of the guests below. Unacceptable. During the nights of the 29th and 30th while I was in room 442 the fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times. That was coupled with noise which I thought was coming from outside but was probably from a suite on the 8th floor. Last night I stayed in room 752 and was unable to sleep after 2am due to very loud noise (and I mean VERY loud plus vibrations and strong bass, Arabic music) coming from upstairs on the 8th floor. When I complained to the Duty manager he apparently went upstairs, asked them to turn down the music and they did not, instead the music continued until 5:30am at which point I checked out and left the Hotel to go very early to the airport to sleep. The Duty Manager did offer me a room at around 3am where I could go and sleep but I refused since it should not be me to continue being inconvenienced and I had no idea the music would continue until 5:30am! NEVER Again!!!

Pros: Location is great, good access to big chunks of London by foot
Rooms are spacious for a big city
Staff very helpful
Cons: Gym a bit small
Too long a wait for elevators
Breakfast crowded late in the morning, not so special
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, deluxe room quite good in size
Cons: Housekeeping not on par with 5 star hotels. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. I have to call to ask them to clean otherwise they would wait hours and hours before they clean.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them

Pros: the size of the room, I like spacious rooms am not a fan of small rooms the staff at reception, the breakfast was fine and the staff kind and helpful, the location is nice specially for tourists ...
Cons: the sofa bed is a not comfortable at all, needs a thicker mattress for sure. The room cleaning is not very well, it's a "a la va vite cleaning" , and a friend of mine who was still sleeping around eight AM was woke up by room service knocking at his door early in the morning, Thank God I always keep the DND sign at night in my room ...
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was amazing. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Pool use was very limited. You have to pre-book your swims and are only allowed 30 minutes each day to swim. The staff at the spa front desk were rude and were not nice. No linens were provided for the sofa bed and we were told we could not have any.

Pros: Location, clean and newly decorated rooms, easy check in and check out, nice staff, good breakfast
Cons: Water pressure was very low to take a nice shower( staff was responsive about it), being in a lower floor room so a bit darker than upper floors, next building was covering the window area.

Pros: Rooms were clean and refreshing...bathroom shower was amazing.
Cons: There was no business center to print your own boarding passes or tickets to attractions.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine on the whole with the exceptions below.
Cons: Staff don't seem to be cleaning the hotel as well as they should (dirty towels in the bathroom from previous guests and dirty duvets make you wonder if they changing sheets etc. Also they don't clean glasses and leave them dirty for you to use). I'm hoping this doesn't lead to the hotel deteriorating. Also breakfast needs more thought for religion and culture, please be more careful by placing vegetarian items further from meats so the same utensils aren't used by guests for both meat and vegetarian etc.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: I stayed at this hotel with my mom for 5 days while on holiday. I don't recommend it. It's overpriced for the amenities provided. The pool is mediocre: it's very small and only good if you have restless children (there's only 5 lounge chairs). The gym was ok. Twice the cleaners did not come to our room as required, and we even ran out of toilet paper because, when the cleaner did come, she did not leave any toilet paper! There's free wifi which was good and the many tv channels. The location is basically the main attraction. My 2 cents is that find a hotel without the gym and pool, and go for the location to save money. And find a hotel with reliable cleaners that speak at least basic English. None of my cleaners spoke any English and did not understand words like toilet paper...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern room with all the gadgets. Nice staff and feels very new and clean.
Cons: Ironing board and iron awful! Quite small room and no full length mirror apart from next to bed where you can't see. No dressing table to sit down to put on make up or dry hair etc

Pros: Comfortable and large bed, big room, well equipped - microwave, dishwasher and pots...
Cons: The stream of water in the shower was very weak. Also in the tap- weak stream. For the price I expected everything to be perfect. An additional deposit of 50 Pounds was taken from me, it wasn't mentioned in my correspondence with the Hotel before.

Pros: Lovely comfortable room, modern facilities, great kitchen which was really useful as we have a 4 year old!
Cons: Room a little tight for luggage etc, especially when sofa bed is made up, bathroom small but works well.

Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: At check-in we were charged a refundable £50 which we were to get upon checkout out, to date that refund hasn't reflected on our card yet. Toiletries supplies were not replaced daily had to buy our own showering gel even after requesting from the reception. The heating system in our room wasn't working and asked for help, but still didn't work and no solution offered. Didn't find the staff friendly or helpful at all. Forgot my USB port for charging my phone after checkout. When I went back no help forthcoming had to purchase a new one.

Cons:

Pros:
Cons: Got to hotel at check in time (2:00) and had to wait 2 hours for the room to be ready. My 3:30 engagement was missed do to this issue with check in. I was only in London this one day and the main reason I was there for didn’t happen because of the late check in. Also, the occupants of the room next to mine was slamming their door and making noises up to 6:00 am. It sounded like staff was continuously trying to enter the room. Not a good experience at all

Cons: Walk for 5-8minutes to the underground station, and there is only stairs at the exit, so if you carry a big luggage it isn’t convenient. The facilities is a little old.

Pros: People are amazing specially doormen. Room is kind of spacious compared to rooms in London.
Cons: No complementary water. Bathtub has to be fixed. Small bed. TV is difficult to watch when in bed. I can hear all next rooms guest when they enter theirs. Sometimes you think someone is trying to open ur door. I requested an early check in prior to my arrival but no one answered back. No good place to sit in lobby area.

Cons:

Pros: Assume the hotel would have been excellent.
Cons: Beware!! The booking agent Cancelon has a early date trigger converting to a non-refundable reservation after promoting "free cancelation". Its geared to pushing the non-refundable reservation to their site to sell. The listing process was incredibly difficult requiring re-entering all online data resulting in no sale or compensation. Would avoid booking through Cancelon in the future.

Pros: Hotel room was a little smaller than what I was used to but it was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. It was within walking distance of a lot of awesome sights and activities.
Cons: They offered free breakfast in your room if you filled out your request card the night before. I was only able to take advantage of this service once because I never received another breakfast request card.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect to see many sights and close to the underground.
Cons: There are NO American Outlets anywhere, and I understand that yes I am in the UK and they don't have the same voltage as in the States, but EVERY hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe has had at least ONE American Outlet. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.

Cons: We booked 2 rooms with queen beds, plus a double pull-out couch...plenty of beds for a family of 5. When we checked in, we were given two rooms with queen beds only. The staff worked to fix the issue, but I still don't think that we got what we paid for.

Pros: Location, that’s about it

Pros: The location was great for tourists. Right in the heart of Covent Gardens. Lots of energy and buzz about. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.

Cons: Currently undergoing refurbishment. Noise appalling.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Warm cookie on arrival was a nice touch, good location for what I needed, comprehensive breakfast, Hilton Honors club, friendly staff
Cons: Dated facilities, room wasn’t ready when I arrived so got moved then couldn’t connect to WiFi because the name and room number hadn’t been updated (login credentials), understaffed check-in deal meant long queue times for check-in/check-out, refurb work was extremely noisy and inconvenient when I was trying to take work calls, would have been nice to know about this prior to checking in, stair layout is terrible and couldn’t access ground floor (emergency exit only) so had to take the lift to/from third floor.
6.3 Good
Pros:
Cons: Construction/drilling at 09:00 was ridiculously loud (as I suppose drills are). Could have done with the heads up previous to the booking as it ruined the morning vibe.

Cons: we were staying at floor number 2, unpleasant smell when you enter the floor for the first two days need to refurbish the rooms reception staff was not too welcoming as my previous experience with Hilton series

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff were a little rude and initially was making me wait to check into a room at 3 PM and I arrived at 2:30. Once I told them I was a Hilton honors member they all of a sudden said the room was available. My checkin experience could have been better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed. Air con works!
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect. The staff is nice and the room is big enough.
Cons: The furniture in the room was outdated and the breakfast was mediocre. A fine hotel, but the price is mostly for the location.
6.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Concierge will to help with reservations, etc.
Cons: WiFi was sketchy. No bellman helping with cabs. Breakfast was pricy. Handheld shower head wouldn't sit correctly when attached to fitting, so water hit the wall instead of me unless I held it.
