Pros: The hotel's reputation is well-earned; it is extremely comfortable and elegant and the guests feel welcome and everything they could wish for is provided. The room was expensive but luxurious and spacious. There is also perfect peace as there is no noise from outside or inside. Children feel most welcome. The bathroom facilities were splendid and the room had enough plugs to charge four devices at once. Everything worked seemlessly and everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was wonderful and all the staff were very friendly and dealt with every issue that arose swiftly and pleasantly.

Pros: Wonderful location. Exquisite setting. We stayed here 3 years ago and were disappointed so returned to our favourite - The Dorchester. We decided to give the Savoy another go and we were delighted. Wonderful staff, excellent room (overlooking the Thames - a great view) and, despite the Lego Christmas theme, very elegant.

Pros: Everything was great really, lovely traditional hotel, service was brilliant and a very good location, 10 minutes walk away from some of the best shopping areas and some top restaurants. We also ate in the Grill and is was excellent.
Cons: I was a little shocked by how expensive everything was but this might be expected for London, for me though £20 for a Vodka and Orange, £8 for a side of Toast at breakfast or a single croissant, does seem a bit too pricey. I expect to pay a premium but these costs did seem just that bit too much.

Pros: despite being over motor court, room was very quiet, everything was well designed, staff was extremely helpful, bathroom was tremendous, restaurant was great. Very little (if anything) to actually complain about. Top-notch.
Cons: gym facilities were modest as was pool, but not a terribly big deal as most hotel gyms have a limited offer.

The hotel also tried to overcharge us for breakfast (charged the whole group for deluxe breakfasts when we intentionally just ordered a la carte. Business travelers on an expense account probably don't bother with arguing with first the waiter and then a supervisor.
Staff repeatedly gave incorrect information about nearby road closures for various parades.

Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Pros: Location was perfect for London tourism (safe and within walking distance of everywhere). The hotel concierges and another gentleman whose name I didn''t catch were extremely helpful!
Cons: The desk chair legs (room 633) stuck out and the tight quarters meant that my toes got smashed. I humbly suggest a different chair. I know that space is limited but having a lounge w/ desks or couches (not part of the restaurant) would be nice.

Cons: I asked for late check out and was promised for free until 2pm and possible for free until 4pm but askedto recheck next morning. The next day I checked, they said it will be at 125 pounds until 2pm. Quite confused why the change? but was a bit insulted when the person taking the call (The Manger) doubted my fact that I was offered free until 2pm and said we will need to recheck in a week when the receptionist is back and we might charge you. Quite an unacceptable attitude. However, I still believe it is the best hotel in London.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.
Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.
A stunning five-star luxury hotel overlooking the River Thames near Embankment recommended by Forbes Travel Guide and Cond Nast Johansens This majestic five-star hotel presides over the River Thames with outstanding views. From glittering chandeliers to contemporary design, this central hotel opposite the London Eye reflects a proud heritage. Enjoy the original tiled floors and discover a hotel with a secret past. Stay in the building that was once home and office to the first Chief of Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), Sir Mansfield Cumming, and now commemorated with an English Heritage Blue Plaque.

Pros: This hotel is good value for money, with all the facilities you would expect of a hotel in its price range. The breakfast was very good and the welcoming lemonade and fruit at reception were wonderful. The towels are enormous! So lovely when so many hotels give you towels that barely wrap around you. The air con is very responsive. But the thing that puts it above and beyond others I have stayed in is its staff. They were without exception smiling, helpful, efficient and are the main reason we will definitely choose this hotel again.

Cons: Room small (but that is clear when booking). Great for one person, bit of a squash for two people. No secure access control to stairs, lifts and corridors.

Pros: Helpful staff. Wine and cheese event of exceptional quality with friendly atmosphere.
Cons: The rooms are tiny. It was perfect for our overnight stay but for a longer stay I would prefer more room and much more storage capacity--no closet or drawer is provided.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, cosy (but really small) room. I really appreciate the wine and cheese the offer in the evening.
Cons: I had a double room, but it seemed really too small for two people.

Pros: Manager and staff fantastic.food and wine well priced (and free wine from 5-8 with lively cheese and nibbles amazing). Very efficient and well led staff. Venue is crazily good- few mins walk to theatre.
Cons: Hard to get used to clambering out of bed in middle of night as soon compact but would get the Queen option next time. Very clever design though and great shower.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location great! Staff so friendly and lovely, the complimentary cheese and wine between 5 and 8 was a great idea, with lots of guests chatting before their night out.
Cons: The room was small and the glass shower/ toilet walls made the morning constitutional between a long married couple just too close when you need a bit of privacy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: They have cells, I can not consider this as room. The air confitions are so noisy and there no way to make them silent. I tried 2 rooms both had very noisy air conditions.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is good value for money, with all the facilities you would expect of a hotel in its price range. The breakfast was very good and the welcoming lemonade and fruit at reception were wonderful. The towels are enormous! So lovely when so many hotels give you towels that barely wrap around you. The air con is very responsive. But the thing that puts it above and beyond others I have stayed in is its staff. They were without exception smiling, helpful, efficient and are the main reason we will definitely choose this hotel again.
Cons: The rooms, though small, are perfectly big enough for a short stay. The only thing that I wish could change is that the double beds are pushed against the walls, so you have to climb over your partner if you are getting into or out of bed after them. This would not be suitable for a guest with mobility issues. Also, be aware that the shower cubicles are frosted glass compartments within the room, so you can see your room mate's fuzzy outline while they shower. This might not be suitable for everyone travelling together sharing a room. We didn't mind either of these things, but others might.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff could not be more helpful and made you feel at home with everything you needed loved the breakfast good choice of food on the buffet bar more than I could eat

Pros:
Cons: The wait time for everything was exceedingly slow. A food order could take over 90 min for delivery.
The rooms were not sound proof you could here every person who walked by and what they were saying.
The staff were not trained for a hotel of that price.
The breakfast selection was mediocre and the same everyday for the 9 days I was there. The hotels decor is old and outdated. It was difficult to even have a bottle of water delivered.
The food was less and average.

Pros: The location was great for tourists. Right in the heart of Covent Gardens. Lots of energy and buzz about. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.

Cons: The strand Palace is not at all a 4 Star Hotel. This hotel may have once been a 4 star but now it's more like a 3 star hotel. It was hot with no central air, noisy, and felt more like a casino. The bathroom was small, outdated with rusty appliances.

Pros: The location was excellent and they were generous with early check in/late check out.

Cons: Everything to do with the hotel was very good. It is quite expensive but this is more a reflection of the location rather than a poor rate.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: The room was a single with a double bed squeezed in. Not suitable for 2 people to sleep comfortably as bed was against the wall

Pros: Quick check in with friendly staff. Elevators. Cleanness everywhere. Good practical room with very comy beds. Very near Oxford street, shops and opposite a supermarket. Prices to eat in the hotel appeared to be better /cheaper then restaurants nearby. You can ask for late check out (10 pound per hour extra) which is very comfortable and practical. Good and efficient cooked breakfast buffet.

Pros: So close to all the theatres for shows. Oxford street is less than a minute away for shopping and Tottenham court underground station is about 2 minutes away which makes absolutely everything easy to get to. The room itself was clean, comfortable with a great hot shower and lovely large soft towels. Our complimentary breakfast was excellent with a wide variety from which to choose. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We are going to stay again in the future.

Pros: The staff are always helpful and pleasant. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We know that the rooms are compact, but we only sleep there ,so they are great. Where else can you get such value for money in the centre of London.I would like to thank Adam on the front desk. He went out of his way in getting two rooms on the same floor. Well done Adam, and thank you.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: There were bed bugs, the toilet did not flush sometimes and when I called for assistance, no one came to help me. The room was so small. The bathroom was so small I could barely close the door, blinds were broke cleaning people left window open.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was great and breakfasts very substantial though the fruit was disappointing.
Cons: Your receptionist took £2778 off my husbands card instead of £278 and although owning up immediately, it took about 2 days for the money to be back in my husband’s account. Also our first room was far too warm as we couldn’t turn off the radiator. After several visits from a member of staff, he had to admit defeat. As it was almost midnight by this time, we declined another room until the morning as we were very tired and slept with an open window despite the traffic noise. The second room was much better.

Pros: Not much other than it was clean and close to the Eurostar. Essentially you paid for the location.
Cons: No toiletries or fridge. Tiny double bed in awkwardly shaped room. In Europe it would have been marked up as a no frills business hotel and would have cost far less.
