Pros: Breakfast Room Service (as restaurant was not open before I had to leave).
Cons: Everything else - courteous, but very unhelpful staff in resolving issues and making guests feel comfortable. Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Pros: Perfect location and the staff were amazing. So friendly and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and light. The bed was very comfortable and free bottle waters were a nice touch. Amazing en-suite, nice powerful shower.
Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Pros: Great pillows & bed. Thomas was fantastic & very helpful in directions. The check in staff did not advise that reservations were necessary for the rooftop bar - our 3 guests arrived, my husband requested the lift they called up & said it was ok. When my husband & guests got to the rooftop, they were seated in the restaurant. I managed to get it sorted out & we were “squeezed” in - very embarrassing. Your staff needs to advise hotel guests that RESERVATIONS are required.

Pros: Good location and adequate hotel and room. Friendly front desk staff. Quality bed furnishings - good linens. Decent bathroom and Molton Brown supplies.
Cons: Value for money - this hotel was similarly priced to 5 star London hotels but it does not deliver a similar experience. Housekeeping consisted of having the bed made (no turn down service or tidying). Poor hairdryer and minibar (they’ve opted for an ‘all inclusive’ style minibar which consists of water and Coca Cola, no snacks at all - would rather a chargeable bar with wider selection if that is how the hotel intends to play it). Breakfast is weird - they have a buffet and a la carte style (all a la carte items are charged additionally - fine but not fine to charge for a cappuccino or any other type of coffee that is not filter).

This turned out to be more expensive than we expected and the explanation offered for these daily rate differences was not explained to our satisfaction. Also, our rooms were warm at night with insufficient air conditioning in our rooms.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Good staff and concierge
Cons: Shower leaked, out with water covering the floor even after they said they fixed it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in the perfect location. The use of the Amba Lounge was an added bonus. We had dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful. Also used room service one evening which was lovely and arrived quickly from when ordered.
Cons: Cannot fault this hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were all great. The concierge in particular was so very helpful to us. Each day of our stay she helped with restaurant reservations, transportation, etc, always with a cheerful friendly smile. The location was great, walkable from the theater and many restaurants, and steps from an underground station.
Cons: Grout was coming up in the bathroom. Room was fine but not special. Breakfast in the restaurant wasn’t good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great! Facilities are ok, gym a bit small.
Cons: Gym a bit small, bathroom in room not optimal.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Cons: I had the lamb for main course in the Dining Room - the meat was below standard (undercooked with fat throughout)

Pros:
Cons: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Pros: Great location next to Victoria, spacious rooms.
Cons: Front desk staff is chaotic. They were unable to provide a correct invoice after 5 requests (2x personal, 3x by e-mail, always spelling errors, always new staff dealing with issues etc). Front desk generally is mismanaged, I had to queue for check-out 15 mins while everything was dealt with already at check-in, but they refused to give an invoice then or to e-mail it automatically.

Pros: Location, facilities in the lobby, staff. Stayed here before for a longer stay of 6 nights. Had a much better experience due to previous room location.
Cons: The room 552 is not to be sold separately as it is right next to another room 554 with the same problem. Both rooms have an interconnecting door in between, which is far from being sound-proof. We could hear tour neighbours and they could hear us, even the slightest sounds. Very uncomfortable experience, even for one night. No privacy at all. Please do not sell those rooms and similar ones to your guests unless you sell them together to families. Or else, if you sell one room do not sell the other for the same night.

Cons: When we asked to upgrade the room they told us there wasn’t any suites available. There was only a one bedroom suite which was three grades above our booking. Pros: Nice room.
Cons: Staff was so rude. The first person that checked us in around 11 said to come back 2/2:30 and our room should be ready. We came back at 2:53 and the lady at the front desk said “check in is at 3. You can wait in the lobby until 3” without event checking if our room was available. In addition, we had indicated in our reservation that our flight got in early and the hotel responded that they would try to accommodate us. So much for trying.

Pros: Great location, major sights at walking distance. Rooms good size - mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities always a plus. Breakfast pretty good ( although the coffee is horrible). Pillow selection.
Cons: Staff in general needs more hospitality training, especially front-desk (too many juniors). No pro-active / smiling attitude in general, no friendly chats. Bar / bar area is heavily under utilised and could be made into a nice area to hang out. I always like cozy bar areas in hotels, with good atmosphere, friendly lighting and some background music (good for booze sales as well!) - but this was missing unfortunately. 2 exceptions, bar staff Jezus and Simina were wonderful and do understand the importance of making your guests feel welcome. Breakfast - food selection is fine (full english always nice) - but personally I find a good coffee (cappuccino / espresso) very important and this is sorely missed. Simply invest in a good, self-service coffee machine and I'm sure the guests will give top marks for breakfast. Beds slightly too firm for my liking - but this is personal preference.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was vacant and we were checked in early. Pleasant staff, clean room Nice building in a good location

Pros: The room was clean and the staff useful - replied quickly to my queries.
Cons: I booked a room with no windows as was getting in late and check-in out early the next day, but did not expect the ceiling of the room to be so low, was like feeling in a box.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent position near Victoria Station which makes it easy to get to/from both airports, especially Gatwick via the Gatwick Express. The room was clean and made ready early. Wine and Cheese in the evening was also nice before heading out to see the city.
Cons: The mattress was not very comfortable in the queen room. Lack of a shower door or curtain in our room made for a very wet bathroom (however it was an accessible room so I see why it was set up the way it was)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved how the hotel creatively made the most of the space in the room. Everything we needed. Location was excellent. Room was very clean with bed made & fresh towels & water daily. & unexpected bonus of sky tv!!!
Cons: Only a very small observation rather than complaint but we felt the breakfast bar was too close to the main reception making it a bit awkward & crowded to get to breakfast buffet when others guest where checking in & out. Maybe if it was moved to the corner as you come through the front door where there is a bit more space & away from the activity around the main reception might address this. But as I said a very minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn't do enough to help lovely hotel in a great location
Cons: Nothing everything was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't have been better for us as it was a 5 minute walk away from both our transport link and Buckingham Palace. The staff where very accommodating and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was small but had everything we required for our stay. Although we did not eat breakfast at the hotel it looked very appetising. We would definitely re visit this hotel.
Cons: The room was small and a little claustrophobic as it had no window
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel the staff were outstanding !! So friendly so helpful... Being Greeted how me and my partner were just made the whole experience worth while 100% we will be coming again
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Rooms are small No help from porter / hotel staff to get to room. Limited menu
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent; exceeded my expectations. Easy walking location to not only Buckingham Palace but Green Park, St. James Park and Hyde Park. We walked to the west end easily to the theater district and the National Art Gallery, Trafalgar Square..so many wonderful sights to see. Right across the road from Victoria Station with easy access to the bus and tube. The staff were so available to help and provide information and direction; always friendly and professional. Loved coming in to the wine and cheese selection in the afternoon; a lovely most welcoming touch. Can't say enough about the high standards of this hotel; would recommend it to anyone staying in London for a short time wanting to see the best of what it has to offer. Thank you!!
Cons: The size of the room. A very efficient use of space with every inch accounted for. It was indeed comfortable and provided everything we needed but small by North American standards. Everything else including the lovely Cadbury's hot chocolate made up for the lack of space.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good with checking in early and was organized.
Cons: The shower was an issue. Someone helped me fix it but still had problems. It wouldn't adjust the temperature.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness .. friendliness of the staff...shower area... location to the city...
Cons: Size of the room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Victoria Station and a wonderful complimentary wine and cheese each evening!
Cons: The bed is literally against two walls so you must climb over the other person to get in or out of bed - better suited for one person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice wine on arrival. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Grand old hotel in the process of refurbishing its sleeping rooms. We stayed in the newly upgraded 5th floor and it was really very nice. The location is unbeatable
Cons: I m astonished that the Grosvenor has never installed entrance/exit ramps. At the Buckingham Palace Street entrance there is a flight of around 8 steps to reach the revolving entry door and there are an even larger number at the Victoria Station exit. And no there is not a porter very often available to assist. Lovely old hotel, superior location, gracious responsive staff, extensive good value buffet breakfast - but an absolute bear to get into!
7.1 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel was quite nice - very close to Victoria Station. Overall this was a fine experience, still not sure if I would choose this again.
Cons: I tried to change my booking for breakfast in the morning and that seemed an issue, also directly above me the fire alarm was blinking and kept me up during the early morning. Then the fire alarm went off - luckily only for a minute or so - but when I came down nobody told me anything about what had happened which I thought was strange.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is good. Staff is friendly
Cons: A pity that we didn't manage to retrieve an item left accidentally in the room after check-out. Room is a bit dim.

Pros: We had a room upgrade so we were very pleased with the hotel. Fantastic facilities because of this. We only stayed one night but we could easily have stayed for more.
Cons: Our suite was a bit hard to find needing two lifts to get to but really can't complain about anything.
7.9 Good
Pros: clean and nicely located
Cons: 2 nights in a row the fire alarms went off. I can forgive one night but not two. And no compensation offered by management
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location for the theatre
Cons: Shower pressure very low. Rooms small but it’s London
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, central yet quiet as windows have extra soundproofing, got upgraded to a suite
Cons: the room was spotless however 2 small points we had two bottles of Conditioner in our bathroom instead of one shampoo and one conditioner and there was 1 packet of shortbread with 1 piece instead of 2 for a 2 person room. Very minor points and didn't impact our stay just thought I would make you aware
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. Beautiful lobby and structure.
Cons: The Fire alarm went off in our room at 4:30am causing me to jump out of bed hitting my shoulder which is now in pain several days later. The staff said it was an error. Plus the television did not work and the cold faucet in the bathroom did not work.
6.0 Good
Pros: The lobby was beautiful and it was a great location.
Cons: The rooms were tiny. There was no room to even open a suitcase. I expected more for the price. The elevators had issues as well and we had to carry our suitcases up stairs.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room in general was nice. Only window are not clean from outside
Cons: For deluxe room in room could be something more apart from bottle of water and sparking water. Well there was tea and coffe thats good

Cons: Breakfast was slow in serving tea and anything that was not in the buffet. Cost of drinks in the bar is very expensive.
5.8 Okay
Pros:
Cons: It is a real tired hotel and very small rooms. Not value for money at all !
5.8 Okay
Pros: the beds, fresh fruit at breakfast
Cons: the breakfast pancakes and waffles, the room scent too strong in lobby, horrible elevator music playing all over the hotel, worn down interior, lamps that didn't work, the door had been painted so many times it was hard to open and close without using a lot of force. The hotel just doesn't feel luxurious at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the city and family wedding we attended
Cons:
Set in the heart of London’s West End, Le Méridien Piccadilly complements the hotel’s vibrant cultural and architectural surroundings. The freshly renovated Club Lounge, located on the mezzanine level overlooking the main lobby, is a truly distinctive and exclusive area stylishly decorated in shades of light grey that contrast with the white, light-filled lobby. The hotel’s many amenities include meeting facilities and banqueting suites; the Piccadilly Health Club with one of London’s largest indoor swimming pools and The Terrace On Piccadilly, offering classic cuisine with a contemporary twist.

Pros: The location is excellent (just behind the Tate Museum & the MI-5 HQ, as well as only a couple of minutes away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey). Tube stations are 10min.+ away, but the area is well covered by buses. The common spaces look clean and modern and the staff is friendly and polite (but nothing "over the top", though). If you manage to get a good deal, it could be a very affordable hotel in the middle of London. I paid £550 for 5 nights, but a few days before or a few days after my stay and I could've easily paid around £1,200 for the same number of nights in the same period - mid-August.

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions in the past due to it being located very close to my daughters apartment.
Cons: Since I have been staying over the years I have seen a marked deterioration in the hotel rooms and in general. The hotel requires some investment in specific renovation. I stayed twice in September and noted that in one of the rooms the fridge had been ripped out and the woodwork was badly damaged.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff were a little rude and initially was making me wait to check into a room at 3 PM and I arrived at 2:30. Once I told them I was a Hilton honors member they all of a sudden said the room was available. My checkin experience could have been better.
7.7 Good

Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some new carpeting at the very least. The design is also very simple and minimal, which gives an overall "basic" feeling. Some refurbishment would go a long way in improving the comfort of guests and would justify some of the heftier rates charged by the hotel (probably off the back of the hotel's premium location rather than room comfort and facilities).

Pros: Location
Cons: Small room, facilities not great in room, one teaspoon for two people?
7.9 Good
Pros: Bed very comfortable
Cons: Bathroom had insects
4.6 Okay
Pros:
Cons: There was no hot water at all. Served sour and cold fish from room service. No hair dryer. No iPhone port. Lacked the promised amenities like hot water! Totally unacceptable. Should have been told that prior to check in so we could have stayed elsewhere.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It’s location is good for central London.
Cons: No hot water Dirty coffee cup left in the bathroom Cleaners walking into the room Poor breakfast Bitter coffee

Pros: The location - Victoria station is a stone's throw away and there are some good shops, pubs and restaurants nearby The staff were brilliant and very helpful The breakfast was ideal for us (cereal, toast and tea, coffee and Apple juice) though fruit would have been appreciated
Cons: The room was tiny - especially the bathroom The shower had good pressure but no adjustable height so felt as if I was drowning at times The wifi had to be paid for There was a light switch coming off the wall The room was freezing The room was in need of a real makeover - the carpet was so worn that it was turning from red to brown

Pros:
Cons: Very dirty, small room, old windows, the blanket was full with other people hairs
3.3 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Filthy room and en-suite The room was up three dodgy staircases Room key didn’t work properly staff were poor

1.0 Poor
Pros: It did not seem to give us any bed bugs and it was close to Victoria station.
Cons: Pay for WiFi when it said it was included. Dirty. Awful mattress. Shower overflowed in 3 minutes. Shower cord was kinked waterflow sucked So cold you needed the space heater on all night. Only 2 of the 6 outlets worked. Loud. Thin walls. Toilet far away.
