I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

Cons: "food choices are not bad. TV screens are super bad. Resoulition is almost from 90's era first flat screens! One stewardess had friends in business. a couple sitting one after another in window seats. She spent most of her time chatting with them, taking photos while we were trying to sleep."

The employees made sure I boarded my flight and I came home to my sister’s wedding"
Cons: "Kayak doesn’t specify its two separate tickets for my destination to kochi from Honolulu, also they didn’t specify their would be a stop in Japan before the flight reached Singapore. The flights were delayed by a few minutes, which led to me stressing to make it on time to my flights, and I felt dehydrated and nauseous. Also the website doesn’t specify that we will have to purchase meals either before hand or on board, and that the airlines only took cash and no credit card. It was miserable, a whole 20+ hour flight with lots of stress of catching my flight, checking and the checking my baggage, and being hungry and thirsty because I didn’t carry enough cash on me."

Cons: "For such a long trans-oceanic flight, I am used to the cabin crew coming around with drinks on a regular basis to keep people hydrated. That didn't really happen on this flight; I had to get up twice and walk to where the crew were hanging out (in a closed-curtain area) and ask for water."

We could not check in online, and it wasn't even possible to choose a seat before you got to the airport unless you wanted to pay a premium for it. To make matters worse, there is no transparency in the process; we had no idea what seats they were assigning us, or even whether the three of us would be able to sit together. And when we showed up at the airport, the last leg of my flight had been deleted from my itinerary (but not that of my family members). And guess what? They couldn't do anything about it until I was ready to get on that last flight! The crew were great, but all the behind-the-scenes aspects of Qantas were absolutely horrible. Two days later I'm still reeling from the experience. What a terrible way to treat customers."

When I arrived in Los Angeles and found that two zippers had been torn from my bag and one pocket open, the baggage staff scoffed at my claim and told me to go speak to a third party that handles baggage claims... I’ll just steer clear next time."

Cons: "City of Yulara had a city wide communications failure. Other airlines had backup plans to get passengers out with a manual procedure. Jetstar didn't have a manual process and failed to get us on the plane. I missed my connection and they didn't help with my lost ticket. I ended up buying a new international ticket."

I paid around $100 for each leg of my journey around Australia, Malaysia and Bali and it really added up. I had prepaid for the Air Asia flights, meaning I had to weigh my one checked bag, but didn't catch JetStar's rules until too late to do online. This resulted in additional fees, according to airport personnel."

Cons: "The return flight was over 30 minutes late but was not announced. After the take-off time passed, I found an employee who told me it was going to be late; so although it was never announced, Jetstar knew the plane was late."
Cons: "A direct flight from Sydney, Australia to Launceston, Tasmania that lasted 1 hour and forty minutes and they lost my bag! I flew 12,000 miles on Virgin airlines prior with no problems. Staff was rude, gave me the run around and basically thought it was no big deal as I’m here with no clean underwear, toothpaste, etc. Keep in mind I had to pay for my checked bag. I am doubting that I will ever see it again as the told me, they have no record of it. Never fly this airline!!!!"
