I liked the food options, I would recommend sticking with the American choices if you're not used to Korean food. The dinner was actually pretty good. Entertainment options are plenty, I watched 3 movies and a documentary. The flight maps and outside cameras are great, and it showed that the pilots were constantly trying to find smooth air while the first portion of the flight was bumpy. They found it and the rest of the flight was fairly smooth."
Cons: "Aside from the turbulence, which is no fault to the airline, the only other issue was a smelly bathroom in the back that spread out a few rows. I wasn't sitting back there but I would have liked a freshener if I was in those back rows."

I missed my flight from seoul to saigon because there was two flights with similar time, one with korea and the other with vietnam air, both with similar time but both are with different concourses , then , the ticket did not indicate the gate number , then the airport information operator directed me to the wrong gate resulting in missing my flight to saigon and being subject to penalties which all are not my mistakes. Please fix your system"

"You can't check in now because it's a US flight, so it's only 24 hours". "You can't check in now because of visa documents something you have to check in at the airport". None of this was written down, or even satisfactorily explained when I tried to understand what was going on. Next time I'll fly Asiana on the hope they have a better online seat selection system that doesn't involve bizarre US checkin policy."

Language was a bit difficult for me to interpret however they took whatever time needed to make sure I understood their communication. Everything is tidy and clean. A good variety of movies, games, music and information channels was provided.I will fly korean Air in the future."
Cons: "Boarding was a challenge because the gate staff did not announce in English. It would be more organized if they boarded sets of rows in sequence instead of mass boarding for economy. Also had a problem with transfer at Bangkok Airport. Fortunately I had adequate time for the connecting flight but the transfer area was not opened until 7pm. The transfer process is all new to me and not really easy to understand until the first experience. The Arrival and departure boards rotate airline information which was initially difficult to understand. The headsets were a problem in reference to fitting, volume and quality of tone."

As for entertainment, the flight includes several movies, tv shows, music, and games for free. I would definitely recommend Korean Air to a friend, but I would recommend that friend to bring a custom neck pillow."
Cons: "Although the crew dimmed the lights during the flight, I could never get comfortable enough in my chair to sleep. The chairs do not support the human body, they only offer rollercoaster type padding. There is no neck support, and the pillow handed out by the crew is too big to be used as a back or neck support. Even lying back, the chairs are uncomfortable. The food could have had some warning labels in English on them. Since I'm lactose intolerant and unable to read Hangul, it's difficult for me to pick food I can eat without problems."

I rarely, if at all, leave any reviews myself but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and vice versa) were AMAZING! I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

Cons: "I think this was just a personal issue for me only, but I would say the atmosphere. I felt the plane was humid and often at times, I found it hard to breathe. On one occasion, a flight attendant attempted to take my food away without asking if I was finished or not. I was annoyed by their lack of manners. I also didn't like having two blankets. There was no room under the seat in front of me, to put it anywhere. It significantly reduced my comfort. The passengers sitting next to me also had no respect when they asked me to step aside and was rude in general. It made my mood worse throughout the flight but I hanged in there. It was okay."

Passengers waiting to board individually questioned why we had not started boarding yet when information screens in the airport displayed otherwise. We did not start boarding for a 12 hour international flight until ten minutes to scheduled take off. The first time we were informed about the delay as a group was after we had entered the aircraft."

Should be made available. Though I booked the flight for both me and my wife and the special meal request was for both, the wrong Veg meal was made available only to my wife. Something is not right with their system. One you serve what you make us select and then the system is recording only for one passenger."

Cons: "My only complaint was in regard to the children's meals. We ordered children's meals ahead of time for our 2 kids. On our flight from SFO to AKL, no problem but on the return flight they only brought us one child's breakfast. I asked a crew member for the other one. She told us it would be brought over but never was. So my son had to wait until the regular meals were brought and have one of those. Not a big deal but it was a little annoying. Also, for the return trip dinner, they served delicious Kapiti ice cream with the adult meal but no ice cream with the kids' meals so my kids were super disappointed about that and my husband and I shared ours with them. Again, not a terrible offense, just a little annoying."

However, when I boarded and sat in the seat I was assigned, I was moved because it turned out that the couple that was sitting next to me had purchased the seat so they could lay down. I was seated at another window seat, but it turned out the couple in that row had paid extra to have that seat empty as well. I was not only re-seated before the plane took off, but then I was re-seated THREE more times until finally being put in a middle seat after the flight was in flight. To top it all off, the plane was so delayed I missed my connecting flight to my final destination."

Pros: "For the most part it really was a most excellent flight, especially the Dubai to SF leg where there were SO MANY CHILDREN around [should get a free upgrade just for surviving that] but the flight crew did exceptionally well and remained calm all the way through. Apart from one grumpyish woman on the second flight the majority of crew were exceptional and really went out of their way to serve and help."
Cons: "I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated..."

The supervisor get a special mention as he helped me with eating my meals with a sleeping toddler and even held her for me while I spent a penny. I have never felt more cared for by a group of complete strangers in my life! Thank you. You literally saved my sanity!"

The crew seemed a little disorganised. The adverts on the entertainment were annoying."

For a flight in which 60-70% of passengers are Indians, some extra vegetarian meals should be available (for those who do not know how to book it in advance)."

I lost this bag at New Delhi airport. Had I been allowed the the standard tote and a laptop bag I may not have needed the extra hand bag and may not have lost my items. Emirates associate is partailly responsible for my lost items."
Pros: "We started with a 45 min wait on the tarmac before takeoff. Then spent 14h listening to screaming children. Now, I know that isn't the airlines fault, but it would be nice to see where children are sitting when booking on such a long flight! Once we landed, the girl next to me got sick and when I flagged a flight attendant, she simply told me there's a barf bag in the seat pocket - there wasn't - so I had to part the crowd to get that lady to a bathroom. Then it took 45 min to get off the plane! The food was okay and there was plenty to watch (couldn't read due to screaming children). It was a really rough flight."
Pros: "The vegan meals were very good and tasty. I enjoyed the entertainment provided and the plane was very clean. At times the plane was very cold, however the blanket helped with that. It wasn't this flight but the flight from Tanzania to Dubai, the crew sprayed the plane and I would like to know what was sprayed as it was awful and what if any chemicals were sprayed on us. Perhaps it would be better to spray the plane before the passengers board the plane."
Cons: "There was only one flight attendant would didn't assist my friend when we asked her to please take my friend's food tray away. My friend Emily Bayne was having a major discomforting eye allergy attack. Emily eyes were burning, dry, turning red, and very itchy and she wanted to go to the bath room to run warms water over her eyes, however she had the food tray and so we push the attendant help button. But when the flight attendant came to see what we needed and we asked if she could please take Emily's food tray, she just said I will come back later for that. So I told Emily just go to the bathroom I will hold your food tray. Emily Bayne was seated in the middle and I had the aisle seat, 44H. While Emily was in the bathroom I complained to another flight attendant what had happened, she took our food trays and then told her supervisor what happened. The supervisor came shortly and assisted Emily by granting her request and providing her with two warm wet towels, and later 5 more. The supervisor and the other attendant that I complained to continue to check throughout the fljght to see if Emily needed anything else, which was nice and accommodating. The flight after that incident was good, as the supervisor immediately corrected the insensitive act of his flight attendant."

Cons: "We were allowed down the jet way to board only to come to a closed plane door - waited for at least 5 minutes for plane door to be opened. Crew seemed tired and disengaged. Walked on the plane asked crew how they were and got less than good reply. In flight woman never smiled, overall crew seemed tired and as though they did not want to be there. Perhaps SFO based crew on way home? Tired from flight over to Dubai? But it was really noticeable and a real difference from the flight over to Dubai from SFO 2 weeks earlier."
Cons: "We arrived onetime yet Emirates did not have a gate at SFO so we were parked on the tarmac for over an hour after a 16 hours flight. When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well."

I fly Hawaiian Airlines often and have never had this type of issue. I was surprised that none of the other crew members said anything to the noisy group of hosts/hostesses."

Cons: "My sister and I were not assigned seats on our boarding passes. There was another gentleman there with us who also didn't have an assigned seat on his boarding pass. We were all waiting at the gate for half an hour but there were no Hawaiian Airline employees to help us. They started boarding people on the flight and we were just standing there at the gate with nobody to help us. Finally I ran over to the adjacent gate that was also run by Hawaiian and asked if they could help. Initially they told me to go back to the gate but I expressed my concern that our flight was already boarding and I needed a seat so they finally helped. The gentleman tried doing the same thing but came back saying "They yelled at me and told me to come back to this gate". This is so rude, unprofessional and disorganized. It certainly left me with a bad impression of Hawaiian Airlines, which is too bad because I will be traveling to Hawaii quite a bit this year."

The row in front of me was extra room and the family sitting there said had booked their reservation the day before the flight. Same thing happened on return flight but I was smart enough to call ahead and fix. but got bounced around on the phone to 3 people including tech support to confirm seats. Bery frustrating. Boarded us 30 minutes late, no one knew what row was called as could not hear the announcements. People were being sent to the back of the line. Complete chaos. Then the unprofessional gate crew told about 200 of us that the captain wanted to leave and the door would close in one minute so hurry up. Not a fan of the airline."

I don't usually complain but there were a few things that seemed a little off about the service. Not expecting anything special but a little kindness and thoughfullness when possible is appreciated."

I would hope they would have a few extra vegetarian meals on hand for passengers who may stupidly and mistakenly not selected that during booking.. The touch screens are poor quality, not a huge deal but frustrating to have to tap so many times. With most of the extra comfort seats around me empty I was not allowed to move to one of them from my economy seat. Not asking for extra service but it seems like it should be fine to move if there are completely empty rows all around. Not sure if the crew members are not allowed to give extra treatment to passengers or what."

My only suggestion would be to board from the back of the plane first. Both of our flights, other passengers had used our overhead space as we were the last boarding section."

Pointing people to a single counter person to obtain a seat on a plane after the person has already been on a 9 hour Hawaiian flight is beyond disrespectful. It is cruel. It was close to a couple of months that I had purchased the ticket and I get on the Plane in Auckland only to find I would need to process through TSA yet another time in order to get to the counter and obtain my seat. 3 hours in a TSA line allowed 20 minutes to get to that counter. I also needed to find a private space to give myself my insulin. I do not do that in public bathrooms or even my own bathroom..... but it never happened because I stood in Customs line and then Imigration line and yet again the third TSA line. I think TSA held up over 200 of us because they went to lunch. He were stopped still with absolutely no progress for over an hour."
