The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

Cons: "We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

Cons: "One of our two checked bags did not arrive. After many problems we were finally told it would be delivered to our home between 10 & 11 p.m. It did not happen & I kept phoning the 2 numbers we had, no one ever answered. There were 10 of us celebrating our 50th Anniversary. AT 2.30 am I finally went to bed pretty upset It was left at my door at 5.30 a.m the next day. Poor communications after a wonderful celebration in Hawaii."
Pros: "FOOD AND DRINK SERVICE"
Cons: "My sister and I were not assigned seats on our boarding passes. There was another gentleman there with us who also didn't have an assigned seat on his boarding pass. We were all waiting at the gate for half an hour but there were no Hawaiian Airline employees to help us. They started boarding people on the flight and we were just standing there at the gate with nobody to help us. Finally I ran over to the adjacent gate that was also run by Hawaiian and asked if they could help. Initially they told me to go back to the gate but I expressed my concern that our flight was already boarding and I needed a seat so they finally helped. The gentleman tried doing the same thing but came back saying "They yelled at me and told me to come back to this gate". This is so rude, unprofessional and disorganized. It certainly left me with a bad impression of Hawaiian Airlines, which is too bad because I will be traveling to Hawaii quite a bit this year."
Pros: "Once on the plane the seats were comfortable and the meal was good. Nice to get a meal for no extra charge."
Cons: "Flight out Airline gave me a standard seat although paid for extra room. I have a bad back so needed the room to sit forward in my seat. The row in front of me was extra room and the family sitting there said had booked their reservation the day before the flight. Same thing happened on return flight but I was smart enough to call ahead and fix. but got bounced around on the phone to 3 people including tech support to confirm seats. Bery frustrating. Boarded us 30 minutes late, no one knew what row was called as could not hear the announcements. People were being sent to the back of the line. Complete chaos. Then the unprofessional gate crew told about 200 of us that the captain wanted to leave and the door would close in one minute so hurry up. Not a fan of the airline."

Cons: "There were a couple poorly made Hawaiian airlines videos bit to watch ANYTHING else there was a fee. Even to watch movies f pm the 1960s. Baggage feet increase for each bag. Check on crew was extremely rude and got mad that I tapped them with luggage when they were totally in the way. Will not fly Hawaiian again. Also, the seats were way to close together and it hurt when the person in front leaned back."

Baby not HGawaiian's fault but wis they would put all young fhildre together in bak of play. or have flights that exclude children under 2 yars old."
Pros: "The aircraft was clean. Some crew memebets very nice others not. All in all it was an okay experience. I don't usually complain but there were a few things that seemed a little off about the service. Not expecting anything special but a little kindness and thoughfullness when possible is appreciated."
Cons: "No food option for vegetarians on flight. Crew member said I may have had an option when I booked the ticket but if I didn't want chicken I should just not eat. I would hope they would have a few extra vegetarian meals on hand for passengers who may stupidly and mistakenly not selected that during booking.. The touch screens are poor quality, not a huge deal but frustrating to have to tap so many times. With most of the extra comfort seats around me empty I was not allowed to move to one of them from my economy seat. Not asking for extra service but it seems like it should be fine to move if there are completely empty rows all around. Not sure if the crew members are not allowed to give extra treatment to passengers or what."
Pros: "2 hours into the flight: captain announced that we had to go back to Tokyo due to water leak ijn rear of plane. Sat on ground in Tokyo for over an hour with no announcements before captain came on and said that teh problem had been resolved and we took off again. Ended up missing connection in HNL and creted car rental isues. UGH"

Pros: "Qantas is a quality airline and provided us with better service than most USA airlines that we typically fly for about the same pricepoint. We were very impressed by the quality of service, the meal and entertainment offerings- it was a nice memory of how flying with USA airlines used to be in the good ol days. We flew economy so nothing special was added to our basic service."
Cons: "All was good, would fly them again should we need to travel their routes again. We flew 2 international flights and 4 domestic (within Australia) flights during our stay in Australia and had great experiences on all the flights."

Sadly our plane to Australia from Los Angeles did not have the same seats. Entertainment selection excellent ! Great line up of brand new and older movies. I was able to use my noise cancelling headphones in your jack which was a big plus."
Cons: "Paying an extra $30-35 just to choose a seat. Enjoyed sitting in the back of the plane however meal selection was terrible as the front of the plane always fed first so by the one it was our turn there was only one option - terrible “southern chicken” Or the Greek Inlet Which was just ok."

The entertainment selection is outstanding, especially for a 14-hour flight. power outlets work, and they even have snacks in the galley area like Lufthansa so if you need a soft drink, coffee or candy...it is there all during the flight. A long flight could not be made easier"

No wifi, which is a first. Most airlines I fly on these days always have some type of wifi. Lastly, the 'touch-screen' on the seat for entertainment barely worked. Buttons didn't work no matter how much you touched them. There was a delay and the selection of movies and tv were pathetic. I will not be flying Qantas again."

Pros: "The Qantas staff in both LAX and MEL were polite, helpful, and professional. No problems checking in, online or at the airport. Flights were punctual and aside from major delays, went as planned. The kindness and responsiveness of the crew made the flight more bearable. What can I say? Everything went very smoothly. To me, a sign of competent management and good work ethic among Qantas employees. Very impressed. Good job Aussies!"

Pros: "The in-flight entertainment was packed full of recent big movies. I was travelling with my partner on separate tickets due to us having different final destinations. The Qantas staff was able to re-arrange our seats together for the long flight over the Pacific. We also got to celebrate New Year's twice, since we crossed the International Dateline."
Cons: "I was not a fan of the A380 prior to my flight, and was even less of a fan after. The boarding in Melbourne was chaotic- for some unexplained reason, Qantas felt the need to quarantine the seating area around the gate. This led to a minor stampede as all 5,000 passengers thought the flight was boarding. The Qantas staff at Melbourne, from the check-in desks, to the boarding crew were all apparently over-whelmed. It wasn't any better upon arrival at LAX- the baggage area was chaos as our arrival apparently caught the LAX baggage handlers by surprise. I had a four-hour layover in LAX, yet still managed to miss my connecting flight after an excessive delay getting our checked bags, the line through customs, and rechecking in through the TSA - and that was WITH an expedited screening pass."
Pros: "registration was easy and well organized. Kosher food was perfect and served timely. Crew was polite and helping immediately. Everything was comfortable, except the quality of earphones ."

By the time the meal cart came to ou row, all the got meals was out and we have no choice and was served with the cold ham salad that looks like left overs, both my son and I lost our appetite looking at it. The crew didn't apologize and gave the impression that we either take it or too bad. Won't be recommending this airline."

When the people in front of us layed their seats down we could not even move and when meals were served the flight attendants had to ask the passengers in front of us to please put their seats up so that they could serve us food. Then when the service was over the people layed their seats right down...they were literally in our laps."
Pros: "They made us sit in the plane for close to 4 hours without any food. I almost passed out as the plane was so warm (AC broken) and they didn't give us anything except a small cup of water. The delayed made me miss my connection which couldn't be rearranged."

Cons: "Because they canceled my flight and i had to buy another ticket for 380$ and after that I realized my chair was available and i took a picture. It was really bad and i never choose again American Airlines."
Cons: "the connection time between flights was NOT adequate especially considering I had to go through customs! AA did page me and had a representative (I think his name was Brian) waiting for me to help me get to my connection. He gave me a bright red/orange tag. I still hit some barriers. I was stopped in security and my carry on was put aside to be searched. It sat and sat . I explained to the man I had to go. He said he was working alone, so I had to wait. I was ready to leave it and just run to catch the flight, but the security man said I wasn't allowed to do that. He finally called someone else to search my bag (nothing found) I did make it...barely!"

Cons: "Entertainment system did not work during entire flight; crew (stewards) lied to passengers on the ground that it would work after takeoff, only admitting after we were in the air that they had been told by the technicians it would not work at all. Crew did not respond to call lights when pressed (in First Class), nor did they know how to operate the power system."

Cons: "The original flight turned around 45 minutes in and I missed my connecting flight. AA refused to try and get me on another flight the same day so I could make it to Sydney on the original day I was supposed to land. We waited 2/3 hours to board a whole new flight, and AA hardly compensated. If anything they should’ve provided a meal at least instead of a bag of pretzels. Flight crew seemed very inconvenienced and it showed."

Cons: "The seats were not as good as the ones on my BA flight to Heathrow and then Rome. Also, cross country flight but no in flight entertainment. Arrived early in PHL and American would not let me move up to an earlier PHL-SFO flight since it was a code share booked with BA. Should not be my fault as when booking it indicated all four of my flights were with BA. Once booked it indicated the return flights were code share with AA. American should have allowed me on the earlier flight. That would have opened a seat on the scheduled flight which had people waiting on standby."
Cons: "Seats were quite uncomfortable, there was no entertainment options, there was no way to charge any electronic devices because the plane was so old, which meant I almost wasn't able to catch a ride home after the flight. For a cross-country flight, I would expect a better experience."

Cons: "Had to pay extra for seats so we could sit together, near the front of the plane (not really, and no bathroom nearby, very small seats with zero legroom). we were delayed twice (40m then 1h10m) then told to go to a different terminal because now our flight WAS leaving on time! so we hauled over there only to be delayed again several times. we know it was a weather thing, but just wish there was more accurate info about when we would actually take off. seats on outgoing flight from SFO to CLT were GREAT, very roomy, comfortable. Coming back- not so much."

To be fair, I may have been asleep but I woke up every time a drink was offered. We came from a connecting international flight with no time to get a meal. We grabbed a bagel as we rushed through the airport. I didn't pick the flight so we couldn't have more time."

Cons: "I don't understand why you boarded the flight when it seemed you knew there would be a delay to take off to SFO. We boarded only to learn we would sit at the gate for 30 min and the wait on the tarmac for anothe 40. Why not just delay the flight an board an hour later? It would have been a lot more comfortable in the terminal."
Cons: "That fact that on both ways they changed our flights which either we got to the destination late or we had to run across the airport so we don't miss our flights"

If the flight were full, I would understand them being cautious about space, but the plane was barely over half full. It was just an annoying inconvenience."

Cons: "The plane was freezing and made me very uncomfortable! I asked the flight attendant for a blanket and she told me no. Even though I saw some in first class.... I would have purchased one. It was very hard for me to fall asleep because of how cold I was. Comfort is one of the main things I expect in a 4 plus hour flight."
