New York hotels near Wall Street

Pros: Clean and great costumer service

Pros: A charming downtown boutique hotel and is close to various transport hubs (Fulton St, WTC). The atrium is stunning and has to be seen to be believed. Old school room but the amenities are modern. Turndown service came with a small chocolate. Great value for money.

Cons: Arrived a bit early at noon and was promised that the cleaning of the room would be expedited and would get a text to let me know once it's ready. Unfortunately, never got that text! Arrived back later than the advertised check in time of 3 PM (around 3.45 PM) and the room still wasn't ready! This was resolved however.

Pros: Everyone was amazing they even got my dresses from my car that was valeted and brought them to our room. It was overall a great stay. Thank you !

Pros: Nice hotel in good location. Excellent design and beautiful building and layout. Small rooms, no coffee in room and rather expensive.

Pros: We stayed here last year for our wedding and came back for the 5 star service for our wedding anniversary.

Cons: For those looking to pay a premium...book a studio suite or larger. The terrace suite was nice...but small.

Cons: Luke on reception was not welcoming, this is my 4th stay at this hotel, most hotels would say welcome back no not Luke, I arrived at 9pm and asked if the restaurant Augustine was still open he said not thinks it’s closing without even ringing to check. I went to my room went on line and booked a table at Augustine for 930pm when I get to the restaurant they said they take order till 10pm.

Pros: Restaurant - meal in Temple Court was very good. Building itself is impressive inside.

Cons: Being asked for $150 a day for ‘incidentals’ upon arrival. Reception staff were not welcoming. No coffee/tea making facilities in room.

Pros: The whole hotel was v.nice, everything from the friendliness of the staff to the quality of food in the restaurants and the cleanliness of the rooms.

Cons: Very stingy when it comes to bottled water in the room.

Pros: The staff was helpful and responsive. The hotel was really beautiful and very clean. Turndown service with water and chocolate was a nice treat. We would definitely stay at the Beekman again!

Pros: I had an amazing stay. The staff were amazing and all my experiences were five stars. The location is in the financial district which I loved since it’s downtown yet quite. You are near the blue and green line making it easy to get around. Also you are a five minute walk (if that) from the Brooklyn Bridge.

Cons: The shower was not properly cleaned. I did get a different room But then I had a security concern and security told me they would provide a report but didn't bother even though I was quite concerned. Not did a manager bother to get in touch to address my

Pros: location was perfect, room service was super, it was right on the water, great biking, amazing nearby restaurant, couldn't ask for more.

Pros: The view and the whole area was awesome. Loved check access to subway. The food trucks all around were delicious.

Cons: There was no mini fridge or microwave for leftover food. Didnt get the room i asked for. Wanted to be higher up. But they got us in three hours early.

Pros: All fabulous. Love the location. Kevin the barman was a master of his trade and made us feel super welcome. View of the Statue of Liberty and New Jersey skyline were superb and the room so comfortable. We’ll be back!

Pros: The location is great. It's a quiet part of Manhattan - we kept the window open during whole night. The fresh air from water helps in hot weather. It's a nice idea with a telescope in the room to observe the statue of liberty and ships. The service is fantastic.

Cons: Selection for breakfast could be better for those who prefer healthy food (not fat&fried).

Pros: Breakfast was included with our stay. If I had to pay for it I would have considered it over priced. However, the breakfast was really good and the staff was excellent. The breakfast voucher includes a $35 American breakfast, but you can get anything on the menu for that value. If you exceed that value you just pay the difference. The hotel even provided umbrellas that were located at the door for rainy days. Nice touch!

Cons: The room was extremely small for a couple with luggage. Basin is outside the bathroom which is very odd. One of the fittings in the bathroom detached itself from the wall and fell directly onto my wife's left foot leaving it badly bruised and with a gash. The hot water takes for ever to come through.

Pros: Great breakfast buffet, really set us up for the day. Delicious options from fresh fruit and eggs to salmon on a bagel. We had a bunk room which was small but comfortable enough for our needs.

Cons: I can't really think of anything!

Pros: Actually the location was the only thing I liked. The hotel was not able to even get the most basic standards in terms of customer service right. Really really disappointing.

Cons: So we were three friends, staying at Arlo 2 nights. We came early, around 10am, so check in was not possible as it was too early. Which is fine and which we knew, so we just dropped our luggage. We came back two hours after check in time, but still, one of the rooms were not ready. They mentioned they gave it to another person who checked in at 3pm - although we were there at 10am. They should have taken a note. My room was still full of trash when I entered, half full paperclip with could coffee, empty bottles and a note for the former guest... So I went down again and got a new room. My friend who's room was not ready dropped her luggage into my room as she needed to change before dinner. After I cam back from dinner at around 10pm I tried to get her luggage transferred from my room to her room - the receptionist said "I'll be up I 5 minutes and do that". No one showed up, after 30 min. I called reception, I explained to the lady on the phone and she promised to send someone immediately - no one came. So after an hour I went down to reception, but no one was there. So I went to bed as it was already late. My friend didn't get her luggage until the next morning. There were a few more things which I don't go into detail here. Overall they should not say they do something when they don't. At check out my invoice was not ready so right now I am waiting to get it via email - also here they promised "you'll get in within 30 minutes via email". I still son'z have it 2 hours later. So I am not only disappointed, but almost angry about the situation. For a room that cost 300 USD per night I expect a different service level. Oh, and then they told us they have a happy hour and our room rate includes that - but as we wanted to have a drink, we were told that it is not included. What a rip off.

Pros: Great location, close to a subway station. Walkable distance to excellent shopping, restaurants and bars in SOHO. Hotel very clean with awesome facilities. Rooms big enough for NYC. Comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: Service at the rooftop bar was extremely slow when we went and it wasn’t even busy at the time. Only one server working and x2 other staff were just standing around not doing anything. The only negative of our stay.

Pros: Lots of freebies! Upon checking in, they gave my friend and I each a small bottle of champagne and told us that breakfast was complimentary as well as a happy hour with free beer, wine & cheese from 5:30-7pm.

Cons: The shower was horrible. We were given a handicap room, and the shower was very narrow. There was no space to move around, and water got sprayed across the whole bathroom because there wasn't a lip. The shower head also fell on my friend's head mid-shower

Pros: Everything - the staff is really friendly, available and happy to help. The room was very cool and modern - The bed are very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the Hudson river. Finally the roof top bar is a plus with a very nice view on the Hudson river.

Cons: The fact that there is no closed place for the toilets in the room is challenging when you travel with friends...

Pros: The concept of small rooms and lots of public space was fantastic!! Small, efficient, well thought out rooms. Also, the staff was AMAZING!!! So helpful, fun and eager! Loved it! Also very beautiful-the lounge areas were well appointed and the rooftop deck fabulous!!

Cons: A few small problems-the lock batteries went out, toilet had a problem, but all were remedied quickly!

Pros: I love the boutique intimate Euro-Centric hotel ... the design is great with many options for enjoying the outdoors... I don’t care that the rooms are small... My husband may like a bigger room but he’s also happy with his first visit here to the Arlo Soho... it’s my second time... I appreciate the accommodating staff members... we hope to return again begire too long... Plus the area is wonderful...

Pros: Beautiful room, we stayed in a corner Studio which had a breathtaking view. The beds were super comfortable and the staff very nice. The breakfast is excellent, served downstairs in the Cafe which has an amazing ambience.

Cons: The room, appliances, and facilities seemed a bit dated and worn, however this did not impair the overall experience. Really a great hotel that I can only recommend.

Pros: A lovely stay at the Hotel on Rivington! Staff was very friendly and able to upgrade us to a better room when we arrived. Room was clean and had very comfortable bed. Great location on the lower east side, close to a ton of restaurants and bars. We didn't get food from the restaurant downstairs, but the menu looked great.

Pros: Overall our stay was pleasant. Great Location! Close to good cafes and eateries, Shops, Williamsburg bridge, Wholefoods etc and a short 5 minute walk to the Subway. The room was big enough, we booked the double queen room which was perfect for our week long stay. The Hotel was clean, and it was lovely to come back to fresh towels, clean room and a turndown service in the evening with fresh cookies!

Cons: I think the photos looked better online, I also asked for a room with a view as we paid a premium price but unfortunately our view couldn't of been worse staring into a building wall opposite us... we didn't even want to use the balcony. The bathroom we saw online had a view/window...but ours had no window and was so dark that we could hardly see anything! the lighting in the room wasn't great either / was very dim. Also, I asked twice for a kettle to make a cup of tea but they never delivered this / the room was not equipped with one.

Cons: No coffee maker kettle promised me early checkin for my daughter birthday then wouldn’t let her check in and it was prepaid I was arriving later. No long mirrors promised to move us then said no room has long mirrors promised kettle then said no kettle super gross stains on sheets promised to change didn’t change til I asked 3x Wanted to charge for later check out no fan in bathrooms very dim lighting for putting on make up. ( mother daughter) small but adequate gym.

Pros: Staff person in cafe Medi was the best! She treated us like family!

Pros: We stayed for a total of 4 nights. Firstly, the complimentary wine upon checking in was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, bed and bath robe was so comfy (especially the robes!!!) The aesthetics of the room were simple but classy, to our delight. In the subsequent days after our room had been cleaned we received complimentary fresh cookies, and one of the days our toilet had a drainage issue which they resolved instantly. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful, which was definitely an added bonus. The area around the hotel has many fantastic cafes and dessert places, and the location was relatively quiet and safe as well. Definitely recommend staying here!

Cons: A few things were not working when we arrived but no one there to take fix so we lost a night.

Pros: Basic king room was $395 which would have been out of our price range. We payed $243 through on of the online sites (Hipmunk, kayak, booking.com, etc.). Stylish and comfy. Roomy for NYC.

Cons: We were unable to get a 2nd night at a reduced rate (it was a Saturday) so we moved to another hotel in the financial district that was even better - though not in as exciting a neighborhood.
