The staff is very kind, welcoming and helpful. Clean room and hotel. Located 6-10 min away from multiple metro stations. Breakfast (additional cost) really good. We got sparkling wine for our honeymoon :)
The rooftop staff asked us to clear our table in order to give it to someone who wants to eat breakfast, which wasn’t very kind. The room needs air circulation.
Bed comfy, room clean.
Location wasn't amazing. I didn't think it was worth the cost and the hidden room charge fees. The rooftop was so so with bad bar tending and terribly over priced drinks. Need some female bar tenders up there too. Better food options would be nice as well.
View is great. Rooms were clean & comfortable.
Hotel is advertised as having a restaurant,Rice & Gold, but the restaurant is Closed. Hotel info needs be updated, it was disappointing to find it was no longer there, it was part of the reason we selected this hotel. Breakfast is expensive $27. for a European style breakfast (Bake Culture located next door to the hotel is a much better option, delicious, quick & reasonable)
I booked this hotel from Australia as a gift for my daughter and her partner who were travelling from Oz to NYC and upstate NY/East coast. I selected it because the location, rooms and facilities looked ideal - including the rooftop bar! The whole process could not have been easier, the staff greeted them by name and the hotel had an easy secure process to ensure I could cover the room expenses remotely, so there was no awkwardness or mistakes about payment for the reservation. My daughter and her partner absolutely loved the hotel it lived up to and beyond expectation - rooms, views, staff, bars and superb location for exploring the LES and East Village.
I loved the rooftop bar. And the service at the reception desk was outstanding -- friendly, helpful, and warm.
