Pros: The Dominick is a class act. From the doorman to the cleaning staff to the front desk everyone treated us like gold. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well equipped with all you might need. The gym is small, but excellent. And, you walk out the door and you’re in the Village. We’ll definitely be back.

Pros: Very clean, modern with good bed and linens. I appreciated having the charger and internet access. Well located for lower Manhattan and near public transportation. Friendly staff who truly try to be helpful. Unusually small, but perfectly adequate room. Good restaurant.
Cons: No good place to hang bath towels to dry them so asked to have them changed each day. No magnifying mirror nor place to hang small personal laundry.

Pros: Hotel is modern. There's a free happy hour for guests which is lovely (Resurrection in expensive New York). Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Smaller rooms, but I guess this is typical of NYC. I didn't like how the shower was open to the room.

Pros: The hotel reception was excellent, did not encounter a single staff member that was unpleasant. Hotel room was nice and comfortable.
Cons: My complaints are minor. The fact that the food in the lobby is so expensive was a let down. I also didn't like the shower curtains because they kept falling down. My last complaint is that I didn't like the way the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were placed.

Pros: Loved the location. That was perfect, and the room was very clean.
Cons: I left my hair straightener there, but when I called the next day they said there had been no straightener turned in. One of the cleaning staff just got a 125.00 hair straightener.

Pros: The front desk staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. It is rare that you can go to a hotel and find a entire front desk staff everyday and all shifts genuinely sincere in making every effort to make you have a wonderful stay. From the manager to the staff I cannot compliment the staff enough.

Cons: The room was WAY too small and smelled of mold. The lobby bathroom was down in some disgusting basement and there was construction going on right next door.

Pros: Very comfortable room. Roof bar & restaurant on the 1st floor. Great neighborhood for food and running along the Hudson.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and quite stylish in a sort of modern-retro way. The minibar was the best I've seen in a moderately-priced hotel, and the room was quiet, comfortable, and elegant. The location is in a rather quiet corner of Manhattan, close to the core of SOHO, NOHO, etc., without being right in the middle of all the activity.
Cons: When we first arrived we were told that our reservations were cancelled! The front desk staff were surprised to hear that I had not cancelled them, and calls had to be made before we were given a room. They apologized for the mistake, but the experience was alarming nevertheless. I recommend calling and confirming your reservation a day or two before arrival just to be sure you still have a room.
