Lovely bed & an amazingly quiet room. Breakfast at the cafe rouge attched to the hotel was excellent
convenience,cleanliness obliging staff
My partner had broken his ankle so we were put on the ground floor as requested. The bathroom was very cold and the water from the shower went everywhere causing the floor to be very slippery and dangerous throughout the whole bathroom. I think there needs to be something done about this as there could have been 2 of us with a broken ankle or worse!!!!!
Disappointed to find I could have booked at the hotel on the day for much less than booking through Booking. Can you please respond to this complaint ?
Location and price
No fuss, relaxed, comfortable, quite but good location. Beds, despite looking basic, were very comfortable. All staff friendly and helpful.
Lack of after hours bar facilities in hotel reception.
It was central
Carpet looked grubby
Restaurant good with excellent service.
Had difficulty with check-in staff because we had been given a double room instead of twin. It took some time for them to find a twin room for us. Bath very small and no grab rails for older guests.
The staff were friendly and accomodating changed are room and moved are luggage to new room for us.
The first romm smelt very strongly of smoke which we put up with for 1 night with the hope it would leave the room and we were so tierd from travelling straight from work we just wanted to eat and sleep. It was so bad it still smelt the next day. Although the staff agreed to move us with no hesitation we were disappointed that we were put in that room at all. The cleaning staff could not have failed to smell it as it hit you straight away and could have past this on to reception staff so that no one was put in the room until it had cleared. It did spoil the week end
Location, quiet, secure car parking, cafe rouge
Restaurant next door was delish. Staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean.
Bit of a wierd smell in the bedroom for both nights even though we kept the window open the whole time. There was no hairdryer in the bedroom.
