The worst experience ever. They make their own rules, they don't care about the Terms and Conditions published online. NEVER AGAIN.

I arrived at Bedford to the power being off in the building. There was no way to get the car other than wait for the power to come back online. I sympathize with those working at there at the time - clearly not their fault. I got on the phone with the avis national line - they were hugely unhelpful in helping remedy the issue, finding me a new car, or helping reimburse the travel expenses of picking up a car somewhere else.

Did not honor online booking price. Completely changed the rates. Did not have car I booked or anything close to it.

The office was severely understaffed for the late night pickup. I, and 20 other customers waited over 2 hours in line to get the reserved car.

Booked a car, with infnt car seat included, for $150 on Avis. Picked up the car at the airport, discovered there was an additional fee for the car seat and to add my wife as a driver. Okay, no problem, can't be that much more expensive right? Nope, suddenly our confirmed $150 booking is now $420. Yes, adding a driver (both age 35 with 15+yrs licensed) and a car seat (which was already indicated on the initial booking) more than DOUBLED the price. So be aware that the "best price" you book may be completely divorced from the reality of what you will actually pay. On top of that, the pick up experience was miserable. I would have laughed at the agent and walked away from the booking if I could have, but we waited over an hour in line at the pickup booth so by the time I got there we had essentially no choice but to pay up and deal with it. Absolutely will NOT be using Avis again if I can avoid it.

Kia is a weird car - I was supposed to have gotten a Toyota. Plug-in for my GARMIN did not work and usb cable set up is poor. Hard car to get in and out of. Definitely would not take a Kia again. Staff were good.

A smooth experience from start to finish. The car provided was in perfect condition and getting and returning the car was a quick process. The price point was also excellent.

The rental spot closes at 4:30, which wasn’t mentioned in any of the reservation materials I got from Kayak or the sub-rental company. With our flight delay, it meant we arrived after it closed. This upended our whole trip, and at such a small airport there were no other open rentals.
