Pros: Location is great. 24 hour food served in the restaurant/bar is most helpful and was very tasty. Roooms modern, great powerful rain shower. Would recommend a canal view room.

Cons: Asked for a toothbrush, it never arrived. Several plug sockets in the room didn't work. Spa is very basic, only a sauna available. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with food arranged around an open kitchen - needs improvement.

Pros: location, staff complimentary non alcoholic drinks, snacks, coffee.

Pros: The hotel has a trendy, designy look and staff seemed friendly enough. There's a neat garden in the back and a they have a cozy lounge with descent drinks.

Cons: I had high hopes for this property upon arrival, but overall was let down. I had the hotel dry clean three silk items, all of which were ruined. It took me over a week to get them to resolve it and in the end, they only paid out 75% of the replacement cost. We were put in a disabled accessible room located right by the elevator (despite not requesting an accessible room). It was loud, the accessible shower allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor. The vanity outlet in the bathroom wouldn't work and it took them coming out two times to fix it, leaving me unable to do my hair both mornings we were there. Upon arrival, the woman who greeted us (and was apparently training) said that welcome drinks were complimentary for guests. When the man training her joined her to do our check-in in the lounge, he asked if we were in town for anything special. I mentioned it was for my husband's birthday weekend and he offered to "cover our drinks." This seemed odd given the woman had just told us they were complimentary. Not sure if he was being underhanded or if the woman training was just mistaken. The whole thing struck me as odd.

Pros: Loved everything about this hotel. The staff was amazing, kudos to Lara for being so friendly to our 3 year old son, he was her biggest fan. The rooms are modern, well done and are big. The breakfast was also very good. The bar/lounge area was so cozy and inviting, loved it! We were not charged for milk for our son, not once!

Pros: The staff were just excellent. Every single one of them. In terms of competence and friendliness. My family felt special. I am a very frequent traveler but this was an outstanding experience compared to all the other 5 star hotels I visited worldwide.

Pros: on beginning when made the check in there was some issue with the suite, the room was not as per my expectation. Suite a bit small and no any view. But the facilities and staff cooperation was excellent. The New Year Eve party was perfect - thanks to the hotel staff which they care of all details to have a great time.

Pros: This is a luxurious hotel located in the part of the Amsterdam. The service, the food and the staff were among the best that we have ever seen. We would love to go back there again.

Cons: ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE - ROOM 109 I want to start the story by underling that I paid 400 € for 2 nights. I had decided to stay in this hotel because I wanted to impress a person who had accompanied me and since the hotel offered a 4-star superior service it seemed like a great idea (OBVIOUSLY I WAS WRONG BUT I WILL TELL YOU IN DETAIL) We arrived Friday evening and at the check in the Indian boy was very incompetent, spoke very bad English and at times it seemed that he did not know what to do.Obviously, after our long journey, he kept us for a long time in the waiting room. after the long procedure, we go up to our room and we found A VERY BAD PRESENTATION FROM THE HOTEL: - the bathroom literally smelled like poop (ROOM 109.I find it absurd that a hotel allows its customers to have a similar service) - in the room there was only 1 bathrobe and 1 towel when in reality the stay was for 2 (I repeat that I paid 400 € for 2 people for 2 nights) We immediately reported the incident to the Indian boy at the reception, first by calling him with the room telephone then going down to the reception, but despite his confirmations to help us no one showed up in the room helping us (REPEAT ROOM 109) On Saturday morning we pointed out the problem of room 109 to ANASTASIA AND ESTHER: - stink of poop - only 1 bathrobe and towel even though there were 2 of us Both girls confirmed that when we returned to the hotel we would find everything settled.

Pros: The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the central train stations - this is great walk to do if you have not been to Amsterdam before. It takes you through the main streets of Amsterdam, highly recommend. The hotel is well located, everything we did was less than a 20 minute walk (bearing in mind Amsterdam is a really small city). We never used the trams once throughout our 3 day stay. Locations on the other city of the city were only a 20 minute walk. Hotel is situated right by the canals, which are great to walk by.

Cons: The coffee machine downstairs is only available for use between 7AM and 11AM. Would have been nice to have an Americana in the evening while waiting for friends to arrive downstairs.

Cons: At the checkout a girl member of the staff was extremely rude in replying back to my girlfriend over a very simple and normal question.

Pros: The proximity was great! Property is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Naples ty of outlets.

Pros: Perfect location for a tourist. Helpful, pleasant staff. Small but cute single room with an excellent (canal) view.

Cons: Not sure if my expectations were different because I'm American, but I sorely missed having an ice machine, microwave and small fridge for use. There was a mini fridge in the room but it was secured as it contained minibar items.I didn't open it for fear I'd be charged for items. Furthermore, I wasn't sure there was any space inside for non-minibar items. I also never received a facecloth during my stay.

Pros: Breakfast was okay, as one would expect at a 4-star hotel. No egg station actually available although stated, as many other things in this hotel.

Cons: Falling short on promises and stated amenities every time. Room smaller than stated (15 sq.m. for a superior double room?), rates higher than announced, hidden charges, no glassware in a double room for all 4 nights stayed, no drinking water in lobby although nominally offered, empty minibar, although a Eur. 50 deposit collected for whatever reason. Overall, disappointing. Won't recommend.

Pros: The staff was exceptional . They helped us with directions, quickly swapped out a non working tv remote and answered all questions with a smile. The location was perfect enabling us to walk to many attractions

Pros: Location. The staff. The room was spacious and well maintained, clean with great ciew of the canal. My was a superior triple room.

Cons: A bit noisy if you leave the windows opened, but you can close them and that cuts off some of the noise; it is city center after all.
