Great hotel, unique room, helpful and nice stuff
Close by to center of Amsterdam Right near the tram station (5 min walk) which isn’t mentioned anywhere that I’ve noticed, hotel in a peaceful location nice and quiet 19€ for 3 days travel on the tram unlimited uses! Last tram back to hotel around 12.30am Nice rooms, clean Comfy bed we never sleep well away from home but this bed was fantastic!! Staff happy to help with anything & all very friendly! Nice wine, supermarket over the road, a coffee house and two bars. An absolute gem of a find this hotel and highly recommend it!
Not much we didn’t like, maybe only thing I would have liked was a kettle tea/coffee/milk in the room! There was a communal coffee cupboard on the floor bellow us but I didn’t want to go down in my PJs in the mornings to make a coffee and never had any milk there (sure if I asked I would have got some)
Convenient location and interesting history
The staff spoke English very well and were very friendly. The location was right along a little convenient strip that had a grocery store and restaurant. It was about a 30 min walk into the heart of Amsterdam which was far enough to stay peaceful and close enough to do everything we wanted. The room was very large and had an interesting design to it. I'd stay here again.
With the room being as large as it was, felt a little empty. The furniture was interesting to look at but felt a little cheap. The matress was uncomfortable for both me and my friend.
The building and ease to get there.
The food was not good. Tough and took a long time to get.
