Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark

The hotel has a perfect location and is easy to reach with public transportation. The fact that it is just a couple of minutes away from the centre makes this place even more perfect as it guarantees quiet evenings and good relaxation after many hours of city touring. Every room is fitted with all the comforts one may need and a beautiful view. The 17th floor is the main attraction of this hotel as it gives you the chance to see Amsterdam from a new perspective and also enjoy a sunrise/ sunset while having a drink. Would definitely book this hotel again for my next trip.

The staff were very professional and helpful. Very comfortable bed, clean and cosy room. Relaxed atmosphere- Loved the shoe cleaning machine at reception- Recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Close to the tram stop and walking distance from Rembrandt park which was a pleasure to walk in. Views from floor 17 are amazing.

We were on the second floor and on day one couldn’t find our way to the lifts- There is no sign posting or emergency exits marked in the rooms or corridors in case of a fire which is essential for any building. We didn’t notice a fire assembly point. Not enough milk pots in the room for tea/coffee. Had to ask for more from reception. This hotel is a little out of the city, the attractions were 7 tram stops away, took about 20 mins to get there but it is great if one is looking for somewhere a little quieter.

The room was very nice! And the restaurant and bar had a great view and lots of choices on the menu. The staff if In the restaurant and bar were friendly.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly and when I asked the reception about it they told me to turn it off if it’s not working and didn’t offer any alternative such as a fan as the room was very hot during the night. The mini fridge also didn’t work so had nothing to keep our water/juice cold which was a little annoying.
