Pros: The position and fabric of the hotel was fantastic . The spa and fitness suite was amazing . Swimming pool was a bit murky , think someone had been in with the treatment oil on ?

Cons: The service in the bar areas was very poor . Inexperienced, poorly trained staff let the standards down considerably. We asked to speak to the manager but was sent a supervisor who couldn’t really deal with our complaints. An air of arrogance amongst the staff was very evident . We must commend Ellie and the majority of the reception team , who were all very pleasant .

Pros: The Spa, friendly staff great location the attention to detail and the choosing of the fragrance of your choice for turndown service.

Cons: The chairs on the terrace didnt have the cushion put out and the parasol and also the fire pit wasn’t turned on. It is November after all

Pros: This is an amazing hotel with a great staff that is focused on your happiness. I have never stayed at a place that did such a fantastic job of making certain that your needs were attended to.

Pros: Perfectly clean, perfectly cosy

Pros: The hotel and the spa were really very nice and the location was unbeatable. Some of the extra services were billed quite high when compared to similar hotels. Overall though we had a wonderful time.

Cons: The atmosphere felt slightly corporate and big chain. Although everything was flawless, the atmosphere could be a little more individual. For a family hotel, I would expect there to be meals for children that are also accordingly priced.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Spacious and luxurious rooms. Turn down service with your chosen perfume sprayed into the room!! What's not to like?!

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, quite big room for Amsterdam. Good location, walking distance to all sightseeings. Will stay there again with pleasure.

Pros: Great staff, loved the location, easy to find, and comfortable bed. We had champagne and stroop waffles on arrival, and it was a great experience.

Cons: WiFi signal was really weak, and we resented having to constantly log back in and we felt like the system was trying to mine our data.

Cons: ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE - ROOM 109 I want to start the story by underling that I paid 400 € for 2 nights. I had decided to stay in this hotel because I wanted to impress a person who had accompanied me and since the hotel offered a 4-star superior service it seemed like a great idea (OBVIOUSLY I WAS WRONG BUT I WILL TELL YOU IN DETAIL) We arrived Friday evening and at the check in the Indian boy was very incompetent, spoke very bad English and at times it seemed that he did not know what to do.Obviously, after our long journey, he kept us for a long time in the waiting room. after the long procedure, we go up to our room and we found A VERY BAD PRESENTATION FROM THE HOTEL: - the bathroom literally smelled like poop (ROOM 109.I find it absurd that a hotel allows its customers to have a similar service) - in the room there was only 1 bathrobe and 1 towel when in reality the stay was for 2 (I repeat that I paid 400 € for 2 people for 2 nights) We immediately reported the incident to the Indian boy at the reception, first by calling him with the room telephone then going down to the reception, but despite his confirmations to help us no one showed up in the room helping us (REPEAT ROOM 109) On Saturday morning we pointed out the problem of room 109 to ANASTASIA AND ESTHER: - stink of poop - only 1 bathrobe and towel even though there were 2 of us Both girls confirmed that when we returned to the hotel we would find everything settled.

Pros: The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the central train stations - this is great walk to do if you have not been to Amsterdam before. It takes you through the main streets of Amsterdam, highly recommend. The hotel is well located, everything we did was less than a 20 minute walk (bearing in mind Amsterdam is a really small city). We never used the trams once throughout our 3 day stay. Locations on the other city of the city were only a 20 minute walk. Hotel is situated right by the canals, which are great to walk by.

Cons: The coffee machine downstairs is only available for use between 7AM and 11AM. Would have been nice to have an Americana in the evening while waiting for friends to arrive downstairs.

Cons: At the checkout a girl member of the staff was extremely rude in replying back to my girlfriend over a very simple and normal question.

Pros: The proximity was great! Property is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Naples ty of outlets.

Pros: Everything you need for a weekend away! Amazing value for money! Nice location - 10 minutes away from the Rembrandt museum which is right next to all the shops. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean!

Cons: Very bad soundproofing and thin walls. We were kept up by someone playing music across the hall, by normal-level talking in the next room, and most annoyingly by early morning clattering in the corridor upstairs by the cleaners who seemed to start work very early in the morning

Pros: Short walk to lots of different locations and tours. Really easy place to get to and from the airport.

Cons: The house keeping staff were extremely loud in the mornings and would continually wake us up.

Pros: The hotel at were lovely, the room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and we were given a box of chocolates and a room with a lovely view of the canal for my boyfriends birthday to make it extra special!

Cons: The shower leaked a lot The bathroom door wouldn't close We payed everything (room + parking) for 3 days when we got there on the first day and had to pay 75 more euros when we left because the lady didn't wright down what had been payed in the first place.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean. Location was good for us, about a 25 minute stroll to Dam square, but a short walk from the Heineken factory and lots of bars and restaurants only a short walk away.

Cons: Our room was the very top floor so the stairs to the last part were very steep and difficult especially with a suitcase. However, there were plenty of other rooms with accessible by lift if you needed a more accessible room.

Pros: Fabulous breakfast, comfy beds , friendly staff and great location (tram is just outside the hotel).

Pros: The room and bed felt clean. Free breakfast and wifi were good quality.

Cons: The window is so old you can hear every single sound from the street below. I kept checking if I left it open but it was sealed shut...just a very thin window. Be prepared to not sleep here. The elevator was slightly terrifying and flimsy. Stairs are impossible with a 35 pound suitcase.
