The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable
Our room air conditioner never worked correctly! We were hot for two nights. We were never offered another room. They did work to fix ours but where not successful. They finally gave us a fan but room temperature still was not good for sleeping.
The closeness to public transport Helpful and friendly staff
Not very clean Far from city Not pleasant looking from outside Expensive for what you get The room had a large stain in the carpet that was damp and wet. There was hair and rubbish in the bathroom bin and on the sink when we arrived. The toilet buttons and bed clothes were also dirty.
Modern rooms, newly refurbished and well dressed. Comfortable beds.
There were issues with the air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep. We asked for a fan on the last night. Friends in other rooms at same hotel had good air con. We were in room 528. The restaurant below - quality of food is not great, highly suggest eating elsewhere - great family owned Italian restaurant close by! Location is a bit far from the city centre but we knew that when booking - the price reflects this :)
Very spacious room, with good aircon
Great location and transportation links, big hotel, lovely breakfast
Amsterdam has a reputation as being a place where you can experience unmatched freedom, but the reality and the reputation differ in many ways. The Amsterdam that many people think they’re going to visit ends up with travelers pleasantly surprised by the Amsterdam they encounter. It is known as the Venice of Northern Europe with the canals and has a history of welcoming refugees – one of the most famous being Anne Frank. Staying in Amsterdam means booking a great hotel, one of which is Xo Hotels Park West.
Xo Hotels Park West offers travelers the very best of Amsterdam. This modern hotel gives guests the very best in terms of luxury and location. The city of Amsterdam is very walkable, so you can find some great sights just by taking a short stroll. Other amenities in the hotel include a business center, so if you are traveling on business, you can get ahead by using the facilities along with the complimentary WiFi to complete your tasks.
Dining in Amsterdam is quite eclectic. The city is very international and you can enjoy many types of cuisine including some great Dutch food. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, but there are not dining options in-house aside from that. No big deal though, as there are plenty of options within walking distance.
When staying in Amsterdam, be prepared to enjoy the very best that is offered by Dutch culture. The city is amazing, and staying in this great city is as easy as booking a room at Xo Hotels Park West.
