Modern with nice amenities
Loved the USB ports. Nice size room.
They have computers to check yourself in but they still needed staff to assist. Waste of time. Just have staff assist you to check in with the computer. Same amount of time and manpower.
Everything was great as expected
It does not have a gym
Great stay
The tram is right outside of the hotel. Very convenient for traveling to the train station. There was also a store that was close by as well.
Absolutely lovely hotel
Great staff, one not so friendly but hey! This is Amsterdam! The rest more than made up for her. Very clean. Very modern. Very COMFORTABLE. Transportation into city center was not bad at all with bus and tram station nearby and a main train station within a 12 minute walk. Pay for breakfast, pricey but worth it.
Everything was great, I plan to return and recommend to all my friends and family.
Really valued for money
Location is awesome, ca. 20 mins to the old city with tram, tram station is just few steps away from hotel, if you come back late after 1:00 in the night, there is a bus connected Breakfast is good, 15 euro is cheap for Amsterdam..
Actually no
Great rate (much less than hotels downtown) and included free breakfast, wifi and had friendly helpful people who all spoke English.
We did not realize that we would have to take a tram to the downtown part of Amsterdam where everything was located. If arriving with suitcase from train station, go out the BACK door of Central station and then go down stairs below and look for Tram 12 to get to hotel (2 stops) If not, it's a 10 min walk but a bit tricky initially to find. To go to the Airport, we had to take Tram 12 to Central Station and then the Train 1 stop to the airport. To go to the area of Amsterdam where most of the museums were, we had to take Tram 12 (near hotel & comes frequently) and then change to Tram 6. Since we were there for only 2 days we'd rather just step outside of our hotel and be in walking distance without public transportation. The hotel is basically in suburbia. (About 15 min or so into the City though.) The only option for dinner is their $29 buffet. There is a restaurant 5 min away, Cafe Pistau though that is excellent).
The staff was friendly & helpful we had a tram stop 5 minutes from the hotel that takes you to central Amsterdam you can buy day passes right at the Hotel. The breakfast bar was good but it's not cheap the same goes for the dinner. We ate in small cafes while touring Amsterdam it's a lot cheaper that way.
No washcloth in the bathrooms they don't use them in Amsterdam so bring your own.Parking was 15 euros per day unless you can find a spot outside.
Amsterdam has a reputation as being a place where you can experience unmatched freedom, but the reality and the reputation differ in many ways. The Amsterdam that many people think they’re going to visit ends up with travelers pleasantly surprised by the Amsterdam they encounter. It is known as the Venice of Northern Europe with the canals and has a history of welcoming refugees – one of the most famous being Anne Frank. Staying in Amsterdam means booking a great hotel, one of which is Xo Hotels Park West.
Xo Hotels Park West offers travelers the very best of Amsterdam. This modern hotel gives guests the very best in terms of luxury and location. The city of Amsterdam is very walkable, so you can find some great sights just by taking a short stroll. Other amenities in the hotel include a business center, so if you are traveling on business, you can get ahead by using the facilities along with the complimentary WiFi to complete your tasks.
Dining in Amsterdam is quite eclectic. The city is very international and you can enjoy many types of cuisine including some great Dutch food. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, but there are not dining options in-house aside from that. No big deal though, as there are plenty of options within walking distance.
When staying in Amsterdam, be prepared to enjoy the very best that is offered by Dutch culture. The city is amazing, and staying in this great city is as easy as booking a room at Xo Hotels Park West.
