Cons: Expect to pay around 35-40 Euros for a burger meal with fries and a drink delivered to your room. (A similar meal ordered via an app would cost half that price). Occasionally they forgot to refill the tea & coffee sachets until I reminded them.

Pros: Close to amsterdam central and tourist spots. Hotel’s vibe is hip, artsy, edgy but also comfy at the same time. We stayed from the 22nd of july-august 1 and there’s nothing I could complain about. The tall curly haired bell man (totally forgot his name) is always puts a smile on our faces.

Cons: Room service order on the first evening took 1 hour and 15minutes to come and they still got it wrong. Ordered 2 salads and only one came and reply from staff was... ‘I only have one. ‘. Chicken in the salad was raw. Had to ask for extra towels every morning, had to ask for toilet paper as it ran out and house keeping didn’t bother to replenish. We wanted to buy public transport tickets and first day they were selling them at reception, the other days we were told to go to central station. Breakfast was mediocre. Rooms were not so clean.

Cons: For two days the sheets had stains (blood) on them that’s wasn’t ours. First time I left a note for the cleaning stuff. Second day in a row I call the desk to report the problem. There was a guy on the phone who said that he would sent someone right away. I waited for an hour but no one came. We had to sleep on the stained sheets. Next day I go to the front desk to state the problem. They said that they would sent someone to change them. That’s it, no apologies no nothing. They didn’t seem to be surprised. That was my biggest issue. Of course the rooms that gave upfront have a lot of noise from outside, it makes it hard to sleep. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. It’s not worth your money.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful hotel and experience. The location is perfect just across the canal from the train station and super close to many of Amsterdam's attractions. Nearly every streetcar goes to the central station, so it was very easy to get around. The room was lovely and very comfortable. They provided a complimentary bottle of water each day. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Gym and spa were a nice bonus. We would stay there again for sure!

Cons: We were based at the basement level room with 14 beds and didnt get any sleep all night. There are no house rules regarding noise. I counted 7 (seven!) different noise sounds which will make you stay awake whole time. 1. People coming and going out during whole night, slamming heavy door making sound like bomb dropped. Hostels low quality ear plugs dont help with this. 2. Wooden ceiling, hearing every footstep from guests above. 3. Air shaft right above bed, hearing people from another room being happy. 4. Ventilation right beside bed, buzzing whole time. 5. Thin walls, hearing people shower and drying hair two rooms apart. 6. Location of the basement room, hearing people from the street. 7. Rude guests talking and being loud at 4 am, as a result of nonexisting house rules regarding noise.

Cons: Our windows were ground level and there were people who banged on them and woke us up. We had a room adjacent to the exterior luggage lift. It was not supposed to be used during certain hours, but was not turned off. It was used during restricted hours and was incredibly loud and woke us up.

No more parking included, no terrace by the canal...The vanity kit boxes and shower cap boxes were empty and our bath robes were removed and not replaced the first day. And the staff forgot the cleaning cloth on our nigh stand. But the main issue was the way we were treated as guests. We expected so much more...

Cons: The beds are so insanely soft they're extremely uncomfortable. My back and neck are absolutely ruined. The hotel has added foam toppers on top of foam mattresses. The pillows are huge so if you like sleeping on extremely soft mattress with a huge pillow that will mess up your neck, go for it. The staff were not interested in helping resolving the issue and I was told, at 5.30pm, that there were no cleaning staff available to help. Unbelievable. I stay in lots of hotels and honestly I have never come across this situation before. The staff really didn't seem interested in helping us out at all and this is quite an expensive hotel. Also €19.50 for breakfast - no.

Cons: First of all we got room with the railway view and railway “sound” in addition. How we could sleep in this room I could hardly imagine. Off course we changed it to “garden” view which appeared to be view on another wall of hotel, so we couldn’t open the curtains as we like privacy. Secondly room was soo small that it was difficult to place even 2 open suitcases. And the final hit....Hotel was booked via booking.com and usually money taken automatically from the card witch is connected with booking account, but not in Hilton case! At the check in desk we were asked to give card ”just for deposit” of 300 euro and my friend gave her card, which were different from one I booked hotel from. At check out time my friend asked to return the deposit back and girl at the reception said that she would get back 50 euros. We tried to explain that hotel was booked via booking.com and other card. But she became angry and said that in their system it is not possible. In 2 minutes we both got smses that money was taken from our both cards, so totally for one night in the tiny room Hilton charged us 800 Euros! We went to manager and spent 40 minutes to explain what happened. We showed few times smses in our phones to prove what happened. Finally one payment was returned back, but on the wrong card... Deposit we are still waiting.

Cons: -Too much noise and not just from the streets but also from the walls as you can hear the water flowing every minute and it woke me up a lot at night. -In the room description they wrote that there is an Air-conditioning but in reality there is NO Air-conditioning in the room -The check in time is too late (3pm) and during the check out I asked for a late one as I had an appointment but they said no and told me to take my luggage out of the room at 9am before the appointment. -Its a bad experience for me. Don't get fooled by the location.
