The location was really good.
It was very noisy, the walls and ceilings are very thin. The room got very hot at night time and often had to sleep with the door open.
The bed was really comfy and there was more than enough room to store items such as jackets. We didn't use the safe in the room but I'm sure that it could come in handy for some. The hairdryer was good too. We didn't test it out but the TV has a HDMI port, so you could probably play the Nintendo Switch on TV here.
There was a step in the bathroom door that I would have liked to have had a notice for instead of what was taped on the door. The shower head wasn't plugged in and the USB plugs in the lamps didn't work. some things the owners can't do much about: You can hear people in the hallway when they're near the room. The stairs are a bit dangerous - I wouldn't recommend them to elderly people.
Comfortable bed, room fine for the price paid. Just make sure you're a good sleeper because the windows are thin and there is noise from the corridor. But we sleep fine so no problem for us.
Noise. Staff are not interested at all and don't smile.
Placement Parking just next to the hotel in the streets
Building under reconstruction Dirty towl
The Chinese restaurant on the premises was really good, I would even say: The place to be for Chinese haute cuisine in Amsterdam!! Nice atmosphere, superb food and top service.
