It was good. I disliked the 12 hour flight from Auckland to San Francisco. I was only offered 2 beverages in the entire 12 hour flight. Hardly saw the crew after first meal served.

Just a hiccup being added to the NZ Traveller Declaration a bit late.

No refunds for flights that I could not take due to Covid restrictions

We arrived from Syndney the night before and wanted to make sure we were set for the early morning flight so went to an Air NZ information desk to get boarding pass. The agent printed out an e-ticket and said we were good to go. We arrived an hour and a half early to the gate, with our carry on bags as we have done all over the world. We heard an announcement about bags needing to be checked and assumed ours would be gate checked if needed (as anywhere else in the world). The gate agent didn't arrive til 20 minutes before the flight and told us we DIDN'T have a boarding pass and needed to return to the ticket agent and check our bags. By the time we ran back to the ticket agent we were told it was too late to check our bags. We had to pay $100 more a piece to fly LATER through Christ Church. We were on our way to meet our kids for vacation and ended up losing a day and $200 additional dollars because we were given inaccurate information by the Air New Zealand info desk."

At Cairo air port when we were checking the officer asked about documents that proof we were injected against karona which is not required fortunately we have them and showed him then he processed the boarding pass

Pros: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Why not give strollers at gate just like all other airlines! I was prepared and had the double stroller with me! Never again on Emirates with kids!"

Cons: "The people who were working at the front desk at check in seemed to be very inconvenienced by the fact I was checking into my flight, which seems like it's supposed to be their jobs, if I'm not mistaken. I had golf clubs and was told to wait at a desk were I stood for 10 mins while a woman looked at the computer, not looking up from it in the whole time. There was another lady checking clubs too, and you would thing it was the fist time they had ever had to check golf clubs into a flight; I assume that's not true."

After going back and forth with BYOjet for 72 minutes I ended up having to purchase a seperate ticket at the VA counter for $299 because BYOjet has the WORST customer service ever."
Cons: "Virgin bumped my family (myself, wife, 11yo son) from flight due to a downsize in aircraft. Only notification was email at 11pm previous evening, which we didn't see. We arrived at airport to find out we were ticketed on flight leaving 10:55PM rather than 11:35AM, and new flight routed through Sydney rather than non-stop. Virgin offered no compensation for getting us to Melbourne a day late on a worse flight. Would not pay for hotel for a stay overnight in Perth to take alternative flight in morning."

Almost nothing to eat, an airplane from the 1990's without an usb port to charge devices, and besides, my luggage came out with a broken wheel.

Kayak has not issued me a ticket for my second leg. And no one responds to me. Horrible service never again.

It will be better if Latam will love to tell us when they made changes in my itenary. I feel that my itenary was change to however they like instead of how we arrange when I purchase my ticket. I have two elder people with me and i did not like that we have to split to be able to get home. The counter people does not know how fix situation and don't understand reasons.we wanted to board the plabe together as we purchase the ticket. i dont know why my ticket was the itenary the same as when we left to Peru. I feel that what I choose was not acceptable that.my itenary could be change to however Latam wants to do. That is very not nice and not restpetful to my wishes.
