I was informed a plane was not a bus that I could hop on anytime I liked. When I protested that I had a confirmed reservation I was calmly told. “We canceled it because we didn’t expect you to make it.”"

If they cannot maintain a consistent level of standard across all their products let another provider in who can."

Breakfast consisted of rubber egg."

Cons: "The seats were narrow and horribly cramped. No shaping to support your back and the tray table crushed my stomach and I am quite slim. Goodness knows how big people cope. We recently did a round The world trip with 11 flights and none were as bad as this."

Cons: "The rear of the plane was filled with screaming babies, loud uncontrolled children kicking the seats in front of them (mine). Equally loud mothers baby-talked continuously to their offending offspring with no effect. Cabin staff made no attempt to control the noise levels. I recognize some of these small children could have been suffering ear pain from the cabin pressure changes but trained cabin staff could have offered remedies for this. It does not explain the continuous screaming at cruising altitude. I recognize that JETSTAR is an intentionally cheap and nasty airline. I reluctantly took this flight because there was no quality service (like QANTAS) at the time I required. I accept the lack of amenities offered by REAL airlines like complimentary food, drink, entertainment and healthy legroom are the cost of cheap travel but I would have happily paid a higher price for QANTAS had there been a flight. I will not fly JETSTAR again and if no alternative exists with QANTAS, I will choose another airline in spite of my long allegiance to QANTAS CC: QANTAS"

Cons: "Two hours delayed on the way. Four and a half hours delayed on the return flight. No explanation or apology for either leg."

Pros: "I wasn’t able to select a seat and was assigned a middle seat, but the service desk agent at ADL moved me to an aisle seat without charge. Food was reasonable value and tasty, if cold (who refrigerates a muffin?!)"
Cons: "Usual Jetstar pain having to call to add extra luggage (qantas booking) and then curiously Jetstar telling me to ring qantas for an updated itinerary"

Cons: "Where do we start....didn't realise you have to pay extra for a bag when traveling overseas so spent just on $300 before even getting the boarding pass. One hour late leaving Perth, no apology or explanation provided. They wouldn't take exact money for a Solo, only credit card. Knees planted uncomfortably in the seat in front for the entire trip. Didn't hand out immigration cards claiming they'd run out.."

Pros: "Getting to destination"
Cons: "Didn't get the food i ordered. Not even close. Entertainment choices very low. No value for extra cost. Staff would not deal with passengers congregating in aisle for majority of journey."

Pros: "finally landing in Melbourne"
Cons: "cancelled flight 20 mins before transfer pick up. useless chat assistant and a virtual assistant hat could not assist. extra expenses for a later checkout, another transfer, food & rntertainment, paid day care and requesting more leave from work. Hotel we were offered only had one room available which had one bed for 4 people."

Cons: "My muffin was served to me cold. $5 for a cold muffin. Next time I’ll get a hot chocolate instead."

Cons: "Jetstar is a budget carrier so I do not begrudge the additional costs for food, baggage, etc. I do, however, continue to be disappointed with their poor customer service. The service desk had a long line, 4 service representatives ad only one representative service customers."

Pros: "Boarded quickly and no delays. Didn't order any food and no entertainment on planes from Nelson to Auckland"

Cons: "The airline attitude. Aggressive and punitive, Absolutively not even sightly friendly. Much worst than RyanAir."

Cons: "Customer service and Jetstar CANNOT be used in the same sentence. Flight cancelled by carrier no viable options offered by phone representative held on the telephone for over an hour whilst travelling to airport in an attempt to get a flight home. Holiday cut short, had to return rental car 1/2 day earlier than what had been paid for, lunch reservations had to be cancelled and no responsibility accepted by Jetstar representative. Well they have definitely lost me as a customer, none of the companies I own would treat a customer in such a manner we believe that we NEED customers to stay in business. Then to top it all off had a hour and a half travel time from Bne as opposed to half an hour from Coolangatta."

Pros: "Nothing from special services and checkin"
Cons: "We had 8 flights booked and requested 2 wheel chairs and 1 checked bag for each passenger for each flight. We had no problem with other airlines. We were told by the Jetstar employee on the flight from from Auckland that there was no checked baggsge requested Not likely from our end because we had 8 flights in a 3 week period. We had our bags weighed at special services and was told we were limited to 15 kg for a checked bag. One bag supposedly weighed on that scale 17.6 kg but the same bag showed it weighed 13.9 kg when we checked it in. We were forced to pay $70 per bag for a total of $140. We need a refundnd immediately. Funny, on the return trip to Auckland our tickets showed 1 checked bag per passenger and we'were limited to 20 kg per bag on Jetstar. How can an airline operate this way. Your survey is ridiculous because you ask for ratings on nonapplicable items. ."

Cons: "You shouldn't have to pay for the very basic...water."

Cons: "Just because we bought the luggage at the airport instead of online they charged us MORE THAN FOUR TIMES THE PRICE for our luggage. It ended up being more than the cost of two return flights combined!!!! Avoid Jetstar like the plague that they are."

Cons: "very cramped; no frills"

Pros: "Not but that stood out that was good. The crew es nice."
Cons: "The seats are quite uncomfortable and everything including water is at an additional cost. The baggage is extra unless you are just taking the clothes on you back."
