Pros: "The food we were served was of excellent quality which is so unusual when it comes to airline meals, crew and service was great as well. Obviously Air NewZealand have a far better understanding of what there customer base require compared to their competitors"

I also disliked that some of the crew members drove the food/beverage cart violently through the isles and saw as one of the crew members rammed into another person's leg, to only say "oh sorry" and kept on going. This same crew member missed picking up the trash from an entire row and was throwing trash on the floor. She was more interested in caring for a baby on board (not sure if it was her daughter or family member) than the rest of the passengers. I also didn't like the seats were so close to each other, the person in front of me almost hit my face when he reclined his seat all the way back. There wasn't much room to breath let alone stretch."

I challenged the high baggage fee with other Air New Zealand staff, to no avail. I was told that the checked baggage cost for 1 bag had recently gone up from $120 NZD to $170 NZD."

We are NOT happy with the downgrade after American Airlines was more than happy to take our money for the higher class ticket. I am usually quite happy with the American Airlines flights between Boston and LA, however this unexpected downgrade was not only surprising but extremely disappointing."

Pros: "This is my third time flying with Virgin Australia from LAX to Sydney return. I LOVE this airline. The staff at every point are friendly, responsive, professional and helpful. I loved the service on board. Nothing seems to be too difficult (this was refreshing as I have flown on many flights throughout Asia and America where the service ethic was not strong. Experiencing airlines such as Qantas, United, Asiana, China Eastern, British Airways, Southwest Airlines and many more). Food was good. My kids loved the snacks; chips, Weiss mango icecream, apples, Hawaiin chips etc. A big shout out for the friendly airline. Keep up the great service."

Spoke to mgr this time guaranteed 2pm and Will email in half hour (I’ll be boarding by then ! Sorry best I can do but you are now in seat 3a economy x. Asked for complaint to be lodged, unsure if she did? At virgin check in no details of everything above. Showed lady two conflicting msgs from virgin and the above so she put me in 3a... I could have been there at 3pm if I didn’t ask for it in writing. That potentially could have cost me upwards of a grand if I had to stay another night in Sydney and another ticket... not happy!!!"

Cons: "I ordered Muslim meal for myself and Asian vegetarian meals for my daughter. While going to Australia they provided Asian vegetarian meals for my daughter and said they forgot to get the Muslim meal. The air hostess said she will look into this so that it would not repeat. During my return from Australia they did not provide Asian vegetarian for my daughter and no Muslim meal for me. And the air host said they would look into this and see that it does not happen during my return. I said this is the return trip. They provided some vegetarian food that not good. And during the return there was no vegetarian choices for the breakfast. The air host didn't even bother to ask my daughter about the food. Very sad."
