Pros:
Cons: The valet location is different than the street address causing much time wasted trying to find where to enter.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great service. The access to Equinox is fabulous! Prime, prime location--the best!!
Cons: In-room dining is awful. I had breakfast twice, and was severely disappointed at the outrageous price for the poor, poor quality of every aspect of the food--coffee is burnt and thick like mud, toast burnt, side vegetables unbelievably expensive with NO quality. The fresh orange juice is good. And that's it.
Otherwise, the hotel is just wonderful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms. Polite staff. Nice bathrooms. Everything worked without an issue.
Cons: At Reservation, called the 800 number. I was told they only had two suites available. No rooms. Two minutes later, I went on Kayak and booked two rooms with no issue.
Service was in no way exceptional. It was a little irritating that bell desk couldn't get cab.
Food/bar is terrible
Surcharge for internet access is ludicrous

Pros: My room was lovely - quality furnishings, sufficient space, nice view.
Cons: I was very surprised to be charged an extra $35 for "facilities fee", including taxes. This is not a resort so I don't understand why it would charge a high "facilities fee".

Pros:
Cons: No bells and whistles. This was much more like your standard, mid-grade Marriott than a 4-star experience. No fluffy robes, slippers, turn-down service, etc.

Pros:
Cons: There was nearly $35 in hotel fees that I wasnt aware of when I booked the room. It came as a surprise when I checked out the next morning. Apparently it was for coffee and pastry in the lobby and WiFi. I didnt want either. Waste of money.

Pros: Pros: Location Staff is wonderful Rooms are large and comfortable for San Francisco
Cons: Cons: The Bistro is awful, did not try the restaurant Weird position for shower activation, have to actually be in the shower to turn it on........BRRR. The closet is about 12" wide, so this is not the place to stay for a long time
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great!

Pros: Clean rooms. Convenient location in downtown San Francisco.
Cons: The hotel presents itself to be a resort facility and charges accordingly including a resort fee but there are few if any resort features to it. There is no pool or hot tub no view of any sort except going outside, no breakfast available. The rooms are small and it shows that they have been carved out of an old apartment (or office) complex. They have expresso machines in the rooms in place of coffee makers we found them difficult to get them to work.

Pros: The hotel was super clean, like tremendously clean! Ideal location which was super walkable to everything! Didn’t even realize that they have bikes you can use. If I wasn’t pregnant we would hve definetly used them. Everything in the city was a quick walk or uber ride. Restaurant on the 5th floor was surprisingly great. Super great stay here. Almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want this hotel to get super busy and raise prices!

Pros: The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very Central and we had a lot of stuff close by, we got about very easy by taxi or tram. It was even close enough for me to decide to see Madonna last minute as she was playing at Golden gate 5 mins walk away so I decided to go. Rooms very modern and spacious, cleaned and beds made every day, to a lovely standard. Even though this was on a busy street in heart of San Francisco, we were put in an inside room and you couldn't hear any street noise at all. Fabulous. ☺️

Pros: Great staff, convenient location, bikes available for touring around the city.
Cons: Some sort of breakfast would have been very helpful. Also, there is an additional $22/day "facilities fee" regardless of whether you use any of the facilities.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The beds were comfortable. The shower had good Ayer pressure. The towels were great. Very soft.
Cons: Amenity fees are the worst. It’s a bogus way for hotels to advertise a lower than actual price for their room. This hotel charged $33 for amenities that included WiFi (that was slow), coffee and tea that was only available between 6 and 10 on one floor only, a $10 “credit” to the mini bar that overcharged me for candy and snacks and other nonsense that they listed so their list of “amenities” was not pathetic in how short it was. It’s ridiculous. How about including amenities that are useful: a fridge, a microwave. The room was comfortable but this charge soured my taste.

Cons: They charged an additional charge and $60 per night per vehicle to park... would have been nice to know in advance
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was super clean, like tremendously clean! Ideal location which was super walkable to everything! Didn’t even realize that they have bikes you can use. If I wasn’t pregnant we would hve definetly used them. Everything in the city was a quick walk or uber ride. Restaurant on the 5th floor was surprisingly great. Super great stay here. Almost didn’t want to write this review because I don’t want this hotel to get super busy and raise prices!
Cons: No negative comments really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very Central and we had a lot of stuff close by, we got about very easy by taxi or tram. It was even close enough for me to decide to see Madonna last minute as she was playing at Golden gate 5 mins walk away so I decided to go. Rooms very modern and spacious, cleaned and beds made every day, to a lovely standard. Even though this was on a busy street in heart of San Francisco, we were put in an inside room and you couldn't hear any street noise at all. Fabulous. ☺️
Cons: Mini bar very expensive but they always are.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location close to transportation and shopping was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms spacious and they have a restaurant and bar on site. Plus it is a smaller hotel, easy to navigate & they allow dogs!
Cons: Had a great experience, no complaints.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location! Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Cons: Leaving!

Pros: Their welcome was super warm in the reception. Before I talked with the receptionist I parked my car at anywhere else around the hotel with downtown park fare which is around 35$. When I said that I came from 14 hours flying distant and asked about hotel park privilige, he said he could provide valet and carpark without any fee (which is normally 70$) until our check out. This was extraordinary kind behaviour for me. Other than this, hotel and rooms are super clean. Location is amazing.

Pros: It was actually the ugliest hotel ou in t of all the Marriotts we’ve stayed in over the years. The bed was comfortable and it was very clean our room.
Cons: Remodeling very loud and noisy inside and outside couldn’t open the windows for the noise from traffic and people. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to pay for parking and we’ve been members for 15 years. The place was such a mess you think of that at least compensate your parking when you’re a titanium member like we are. I paid over $700 like $800 almost for my room and they didn’t even give me my points for staying there or the gift for being titanium member I had to go downstairs to talk to them because when I call on the phone they didn’t understand what I was even talking about. So then I got my reward points and I got points for the free gift but only at me insisting on that they were doing it wrong. And I’m still going to fight the parking charge

Pros: Room was newly updated and staff very friendly.
Cons: The $70 parking sucked but I wasn't shocked being in San Francisco.

Cons: They do not have eu compatible plug in in the room and they do not provide eu-usa electric plug in changer. There is no microwave in the room.
7.7 Good
Pros:
Cons: The hotel was under construction when I stayed. They did not inform me of this ahead of time which I was frustrated by. It meant that facilities were disrupted during my stay. Aside from this I was happy with the experience I had.

Pros: The room was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient location.
Cons: Everything was great.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: Booked a 2 queen bed room. They were having problems locating the room I booked. Was told they sold the room that was reserved for me a month in advance. Therefore I was given a one bed room with sofa couch. Only problem was when the sofa couch was opened it was dirty. Food crunch all over the crevices and all over the spring matress. I was told they would move us over the next day. They must have forgotten because I was never moved. Will never book at a courtyard Marriott hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: There were two gentlemen working the lobby restaurant on 5/24 who were delightful...so friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Parking cost was exorbitant If I had been at the hotel during the day, the construction/jackhammer noise would have been a nuisance
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Major redecoration on going, so it is difficult to give the right evaluation. Excellent location
Cons: Breakfast very limited, may be due to the work
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room is clean.
Cons: We’re so disappointed at the unprofessionalism of the people at front desk!!! We ordered some food at night. The delivery guy came. They checked the name and the room number and they didn’t let him in because the information didn’t match since my friend, who was staying there with me, ordered it and put his name on the order!!! They couldn’t even call to check with us... This is really stupid... we came back to the hotel late and tired. The unprofessionalism of the staff ruined everything!!!!

Pros: Location.
Cons: We had to call the front desk 4 times to come up to our room because the A/C was broken and giving off hot air and a foul odor the whole time. 6.0 Good
Pros: They let me check in earlier and for that I am giving them extra points. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the room was clean.
Cons: My room was right next to the elevator. Literally, I could take one step to the left and enter my room right from the elevator. This means that I heard the elevator all the time, day and night. This made my stay below comfortable. If I were a manager in such hotel I would warn guests about this feature before they make reservations, or I would lock these rooms and use them as storage or other service rooms. Also, my room had a locked door leading into a neighboring room, so I heard my neighbors' conversations, and I imagine they heard mine. Almost no privacy. Everything else was fine but because of the noise factor I would not come back to this hotel.

Pros: The rooms and price were great. The parking attendant was great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The only complaint would be the concierge on Tuesday night.
Cons: Loved the property, it was only one staff member. The concierge was supposed to get us a cab to take us to a show, Hamilton. All he did was stand under the awning of the hotel, so he wouldn't get wet. He kept telling us they'd be there in 3 minutes. My friend finally called yellow cab herself and was told 5-15 minutes. When he heard that, he says "oh, you got it? Ok, I'm going to go in and check out" and he was gone. We ended up having to walk in the rain and wind, getting to the show 1/2 hour late. Neither of us use Lyft or Uber.

6.0 Good
Pros: It was located centrally near the Moscone center for events. Decent restaurants in the area. Close walk to Market St.

Pros: The room was secure and the staff was very polite and accommodating. WiFi worked surprisingly well for a small hotel. Location convenient to meetings at/around Moscone (about a 10 minute walk).

Pros: The location was fantastic. Right near the Chinatown gate and an easy walk to Moscone. The area is much nicer/safer than Civic Center/Tenderloin. I also looked around with a flashlight when I arrived and confirmed that there were no bugs in the room.

6.2 Good
Pros: The room was secure and the staff was very polite and accommodating. WiFi worked surprisingly well for a small hotel. Location convenient to meetings at/around Moscone (about a 10 minute walk).
Cons: The idea that each room has a sink and mirror then there are separate rooms for each the toilet and the shower is a little off-putting. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the lack of A/C meant having to leave the window cracked facing a street that was busy/loud 24 hours of the day. Don't plan on getting a good night's sleep without a little 'help.'

Pros: The location was fantastic. Right near the Chinatown gate and an easy walk to Moscone. The area is much nicer/safer than Civic Center/Tenderloin. I also looked around with a flashlight when I arrived and confirmed that there were no bugs in the room.
Cons: Shared bathroom. Old fashioned elevator with manual door. Paint was slopped on the walls and peeling in places. No way this is a 2-star hotel.
