2nd time staying there and it was as wonderful as last time. Very handy to everything down town. Pay no attention to the clowns that complain about a little bit of paint flaking off or some street noise. We love the Pickwick and we’ll be back. Thank you

Pros (+) We've stayed at the Pickwick multiple times for NYE events at the SF Mint across the street. Reasonable prices even for NYE, convenient parking garage at corner across the street, plenty of food & shopping nearby. Plus very short stumble home those few New Years night :) We love the Pickwick!

Pros (+) It was located centrally near the Moscone center for events. Decent restaurants in the area. Close walk to Market St.
Cons (-) The hotel is hold and has not been renovated in some time. It is clean and offers a decent night's sleep (except for street noise from local revelers), but book it expecting an nothing more than an average hotel experience.

Pros (+) Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean. Helpful concierge. Central location near transport and theaters. Lovely Art Deco Architecture. Extensive vending machine.

Pros (+) The location was great. Yeah - theres homeless people outside BUT theres homeless people all over SF. My second room was good.
Cons (-) I was originally put into a room on the second floor (avoid at all costs) and the windows were open when I got there (sign 1) - got them closed. Then my hot water didnt work and maintenance had to work on it for 30 min (sign 2). Finally when I slept it got so incredibly hot in my room that I was sweating. Not even the fan was keeping it cool. I should have changed rooms that night but it was 10 pm...
