Perfectly located and beds are super comfy!
Breakfast out of the Caravan was fun, but I do think there could be better communications on other options close to the Hotel as lining up at the caravan can be very time consuming.
I loved that hotel was an art piece itself! I was impressed with all the recycling and renewal of eclectic items used to provide a functional and fun environment for all to enjoy and experience
Parking was not mentioned,$63 was steep add on
michelle the conceirge was very helpful and arranged a tour for me. the camper had great breakfast sandwhich
I have sensitivity to smells and can not wear perfume and the room stunk of perfume smell in the room gave me a headache. the strong odor of bleach in the bathroom was awful. the level of noise of children at night up and down the hallways was not great. Room feel a bit sterile. The greeting staff and lobby were chaotic not exactly welcoming like going to the doctor and waiting your turn but your unsure if its your turn or if they're going to notice you. I had a hard time hearing the lady as the lobby is loud acoustics can't be helped but she seemed irritated having to repeat herself and answer questions I apologized for not being able to hear. Why am I apologizing?
Location was excellent. Staff efficient. Michelle (Concierge manager was a jewel). Anthony (bell hop) was welcoming. Common area fun for kids.
Very dated and worn bath with only a fairly new (but already badly worn) bath vanity to mask age. Surfaces (walls, doors, furniture marked and worn). Telephone (buttons, mouthpiece) looked like it was never cleaned). Air-conditioning didn’t work properly. Window treatments old... I was expecting a newly renovated hotel. Lobby furniture all stained and should be professionally cleaned or replaced.
Hotel Zephyr is conveniently located in the Fisherman’s Wharf district on San Francisco Bay. It’s a close three-minute walk to Pier 41, and it’s only five short miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Given its location, it is fitting that the hotel features a nautical theme throughout the property.
The rooms are well-lit and airy, giving guests the sense of freedom they would feel if they were on a seafaring ship. There are minifridges, coffee makers and smart TVs to round out the experience. Some of the rooms feature balconies on which guests can relax, enjoy the free Wi-Fi and the amazing scenery. The bay lies below, as does the wharf. There are also suites with both one and two bedrooms and these have windows and sitting areas that go from the floor to the ceiling, creating a sense of size that is at once larger than life and comforting.
The hotel has a gym so guests can keep in shape during their stay. When it’s time to just hang out, the hotel’s lounge is the spot. It features contemporary design elements. Guests can head there for a game of pool or they can slip outside to the terrace and enjoy the fire pits and sculptures that decorate the area.
For eats, the Fire and Brew Restaurant offers good food for a variety of palates, and there is a business center as well.
Hotel Zephyr is a nice place to both relax and remain productive while enjoying the amenities.
