It looked a bit quirky online but it wasn’t, it was a sensational place for a family to stay. We had an awesome view of the bay. The fires and relaxation/games area were fantastic. We loved our stay.
The air conditioning was sub par, and I usually am able to order a fan from housekeeping at most hotels, but not this one
This place is really great! I came here on business and next time I will bring my wife and kids. They have such a cool yard area with shuffle board, large 10' tall connect four, fire pits, outdoor seating, pool tables and lot of other really cool items including a small little breakfast restaurant in this super neat trailer converted - so cool. Then you can literally can walk right out onto pier 39. Such a great spot for family and tourists.
The long walk from my room to the elevator and water fountain.
Proximity to Pier 39, very close.
Room was dark, small, tiny fridge. Dark, long and narrow hallways. The bathroom was tiny, not very luxurious, with a glass sink and metal counter that was so small, you could barely fit anything in it. Decor was tacky, including the dart board in the room. For the price we paid, it was a very poor value.
Great location and clean rooms
parking not cheapest
Hotel Zephyr is conveniently located in the Fisherman’s Wharf district on San Francisco Bay. It’s a close three-minute walk to Pier 41, and it’s only five short miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Given its location, it is fitting that the hotel features a nautical theme throughout the property.
The rooms are well-lit and airy, giving guests the sense of freedom they would feel if they were on a seafaring ship. There are minifridges, coffee makers and smart TVs to round out the experience. Some of the rooms feature balconies on which guests can relax, enjoy the free Wi-Fi and the amazing scenery. The bay lies below, as does the wharf. There are also suites with both one and two bedrooms and these have windows and sitting areas that go from the floor to the ceiling, creating a sense of size that is at once larger than life and comforting.
The hotel has a gym so guests can keep in shape during their stay. When it’s time to just hang out, the hotel’s lounge is the spot. It features contemporary design elements. Guests can head there for a game of pool or they can slip outside to the terrace and enjoy the fire pits and sculptures that decorate the area.
For eats, the Fire and Brew Restaurant offers good food for a variety of palates, and there is a business center as well.
Hotel Zephyr is a nice place to both relax and remain productive while enjoying the amenities.
