Pros: The location is superb. One of the only places to stay in San Francisco that is not in Union Square or SOMA. Godsend.
Cons: Only two minor complaints: pillows are pretty high and firm, and the J-Train route is right out front so you hear it sometimes. Not a big deal though.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice premises, helpful staff, generous breakfast and good coffee
Cons: Noise. Both from the street (street car and other traffic at 6:00 am on Sunday morning!) and inside (we could hear anybody passing by. At 11:00 pm we had to ask the receptionist who was chatting with a guest to lower her voice, because our room was right above it. Also, our room was quite expensive compared to other hotels in the area.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous period style B&B. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding and the Inn itself far exceeded our expectations. The owners accommodated an early check in, and baggage storage after we checked out, along with public transport directions and helping with our tourist itinerary. They made our stay in San Francisco the best it could be. I also cannot rave enough about the amazing breakfast we had: fresh baked quiche and apple pie, fruit platters, cold meats, eggs and pastries, along with a selection of teas, coffee, and cereals (even some gluten free options)! The evening Port and Sherry, all night tea and coffee, sweets and fruit, really added to the little touches we loved about our stay at The Inn. They also had lots of Halloween touches throughout the main rooms and hallways

Pros: Amazing experience, we absolutely loved this hotel. Very warm, cosy and luxurious feel. Definitely we'll book next time we're in SF.
Cons: Only that our room was facing the road so it was a little loud at night. Fortunately we brought ear plugs.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: One of us has a bad knee and so the garden shower/tub was a little tricky to get into, but that's very minimal issue for such a wonderful place.

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff. They went and beyond to make everything great. Room was a bit cozy, but my daughter and I were fine. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Quiet at night.
Cons: I didn't realize there would be so many steps to our room. I counter 62 stairs from street to third floor. It was a bit chalkenging to me. I would just say be forewarned and ask for lower floor.

Pros: Noe´s Nest is a very special and extraordinary place. I expected to check in alone by means of a key box but then dropped into a clothes swap with about 20 ladies. I was invited to join, to get food and some wine. Sheila is a warm hearted person, we had good talks alone in the kitchen and I´m happy that I met her. Thank you for this outstanding experience!

Pros: Oh my goodness. I ended up staying here basically by accident because I needed a quick overnight stay after a late flight. But, I could not have been more impressed. Fantastic owner. Fantastic staff. Amazing house with character. Luxurious rooms and baths. Please stay here!! You will love it!

Pros: The location is perfect and the house and garden stunning. The owner and housekeepers were perfectly friendly and hospitable. Our room, a two-bedroom suite, was wonderfully furnished and service was regular and generous. The clear highlight, however, was breakfast with everyone chatting around the kitchen table. So many insights into politics, social issues, cultural differences and human universals! Would definitely stay there again any time!
