Cons: Our room was not very clean when we checked in. We stayed in a suite, and our daughter found some dirty tissues behind the sofa bed. We had breakfast in a restaurant, and I was served cappuccino in a dirty cup, smudged with a lipstick. But as soon as I mentioned to the waiter, he apologized and brought me a new cup. The area is a little bit sketchy at night.

Cons: Hotel is located near the trainstation, a lot of homeless people staying by the hotel fence. They close the gate to the hotel territory late in the evening, when we came from a walk a bit late than midnight, we were just stuck and did not understand how to get it - there is no sign or personell there, no bell and rather dark there. We had to go around the hotel and succeded to get in through the backdoor, which was by chance open (it was locked but sash was not closed). Only in the morning I found something like card reader, perhaps I had to use the room key, but this was not obvious in the evening at all. Rooftop bar also did not impress. Almost empty, no view and overpriced cocktails (15 euros for typical longdrink). No free bottles of water in the room, quite strange for 30+ weather.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Children running in the breakfast area again parents not controlling or staff saying anything. And using the reception area as a playground when trying to enjoy a quiet adult drink in the cocktail bar. This hotel is not a cheap stay and even though I did advise reception nothing was done. Breakfast was adequate however the coffee was not the best and juices watered down.

You can raise or lower the head of the bed with the remote control and we used this frequently. Double doors opened onto a small balcony providing a lovely breeze. The bathroom was well stocked and the shower pressure was just right. The sixth level has a roof top terrace with lounge chairs. The staff are wonderful. Always helpful and friendly. Jayson attended to our needs at buffet breakfast and he was so friendly and considerate. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a wide variety of foods. Well worth the 10 euros. The location is spot on. The train terminal is just up the road with the bus terminal and the Hop on Hop off buses also readily accessible. We highly recommend Augusta Lucilla Palace.

Pros: Room was very clean, bathroom well equipped, breakfast was very good, location was good minutes walk from the Roma termini station there you can get a bus, train or metro. And I want to thank Guseppe for the kind service in the morning breakfast, when he found out I was heading to Napoli, he got a bag and packed me a snack for the road from the breakfast buffet. Hotel is located near restaurants and supermarkets.
Cons: First I checked into a room where the AC almost not working when I checked with the reception she said she doesn't have other rooms, so I went to her saying that there is availability on booking.com and accordingly she changed the room, in the new room AC was strong but after 2 days the AC started dropping water on the floor, for which I had to call for maintenance.

Pros: Very convenient location for whom needs to travel by train from Roma Termini. Very clean room and bathroom. Air-conditioning excellent, I found my room at a nice temperature when outside the city was extremely hot.
Cons: At times there's a drain pipe smell, but I found this to be an issue in almost all Italian cities/apartments/hotels I've ever stayed at. The Roma Termini area is generally noisy, so this may be a problem for whom sleeps light.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Cons: Its suggestion to have usb/socket for charging near the bed/pillow. There were no vacant sockets for charging the mobiles, we tried finding in all corners but didnt saw any. At last we had to remove the plug for kettle to charge. Hence, a charging point near the bed/pillow would be convinient :)

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Cons: The shower was filthy and riddled with mould. The shower screen door was basically hanging off. There was no blind on our door the first day, however one did magically appear the second day. Everything felt old and far from “4 stars”. Wifi signal was dismal, half the machines in the gym were broken, the rooftop spa was green and slimy.

Cons: Main problem ... no hot water and staff seems to think that it is normal. Also, the towels do not seems to be clean. Actually, I was originally quite happy with the hotel ... its excellent location (walking distance from Roma Train Station). The staff appeared to be very friendly and we were able to get a kettle despite none is originally available at the room. We stayed five nights, but then small problems started to creep up. First, the kettle we first got did not really work, and the staff was friendly and changed a working one for us eventually. Then, most of the power sockets in the room are type L, instead of the tighter C or F, and the adapters we have often got disconnected or fall out. Loose socket connection is actually a safety hazard! Also, the refrigerator in room was not really that cold, the staff tried to help but it didn't really get it fixed. Then on the last night, there was no hot water, which was really bad considering it was August and we spent the whole day out in the sun. When we call the front desk, the reply was water pressure was low and not much they can do. That was a first for me, and checking the web, I found that this is a well complained problem, making it even worse (from my perspective). System does not seem to respect (and hence be able to respond to) customer complaints ! It is really a dent for me, after having a great 24 day tour in Italy and Greece.

Cons: By mistake of the administration we got a room with a shower instead of a bath. We got reduced price because of this error. As often in hotels, the shower was rather small and the door didn't close well, so water ran over the floor.

Cons: Unfortunately the metro Barberini was not working but was not a problem to reach the location or going somewhere else. Of course it's not their fault! We had a lots of choices to move around with public transport.

Cons: I selected the property for my single night in Rome as it was so close to a metro so I was dismayed when I discovered it was closed till further notice . I only found this when the resin went straight throgh6 . I tried in the other direction in case I had taken a limited stop train. . So I had to walk over a kilometre . Not fault of hotel and reception explained how to catch a bus . It would have been most helpful if I knew in advance . A simple message to guests . And for those seeking g Hotel close to metro this isnt suitable currently

Cons: Felt very unsafe in the surrounding streets, surrounded by pick pocketers, homeless, beggars and other shady characters. When asked for assistance from staff it was not always willingly given. Some staff were on the verge of being rude and arrogant. Bathrooms were horrible with just a loose glass door closing off the toilet from the rest of the room (when we asked if any rooms were available with closed off bathrooms we were told that it was a modern style and that we should have looked more closely at the photos. We were then offered a room with facilities for persons with disabilities which had a closed off bathroom, but this was only available then following day during the morning hours when we had booked a tour so we missed our window of opportunity!). Breakfast and use of the pool were only available at an extra charge. Shower gel was provided 2 days out of 4. Non decaff coffee was provided on the first day only and not replenished. Room looked like it was painted by an amateur with brush strokes overlapping onto the floor tiles making the room look like a cheap bed and breakfast.

Cons: I love expected more from a Radisson Blu Hotel, having stayed in others previously and been very pleased. There was no door for privacy in the shower, which I wasn’t aware of, I would not have booked this room if I was. There was mould under the rim in the bath. Water came through to the bedroom when using the shower. And we had powdered milk with the coffee/tea facilities. The location was good for the train station, which was nice.
