Pros: The Hotel was beautiful and the details were well thought out and I was impressed with Boscolo Exedra.
Cons: Be very careful if you book this hotel through a third party booking service. They did not honor my booking and the entire check in was long and delayed. The Hotel Boscolo charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals even after I showed and emailed them the copy of the booking. Very frustrating and I am still dealing with it weeks later.

The room and the bathroom though are exceptionally clean and comfortable, looks newly renovated, comfortable beds, great price and would definitely stay again. The owners are very lovely too and more than helpful. There's a cafe a block away by the traffic lights towards the Colosseum that makes great coffee and some good restaurants in the other direction a couple of blocks away.

Cons: The temperature of the shower was a little bit intermittent and the walls were quite thin so if you have noisey neighbours like we did you can hear them quite often. Wasn't a major issue though.

Cons: I could have done with 1 more towel, I don't need my bed changed daily and have no problems reusing my towel for a short stay however leading into the 4th day (checking out later that day) I was probably ready for a new one so might be worth asking. Excellent stay overall.

Cons: Prefer not to say anything negative as the staff were extremely helpful when I had misplaced my bag at the Airport. Miraculously I got it back, but not without a lot off effort from Olimpia and Esabetta and a gentleman from adjoining accommodation in same building. They were just so helpful and calming, when I was stressed.

Pros: The lady that checked us in was wonderful and made us feel immediately welcomed! It made a huge difference after 4 hours on a train. She made many excellent suggestions for places to eat, even the hotel restaurant (which we did eat at one night)
Cons: We got in late and ordered room service. After eating we called about our tray. They instructed us to put it outside of the door and someone would pick it up. The next morning, around 7am, the tray was still out there. That was kind of off-putting.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Cons: The staff members were horrible. Totally didn't care anything about their visitors. Not only one, but by far most of them! People behind the reception, the bars or the restaurant. Nobody couldn't care less to make the stay somewhat better. The prices at the bar are waaaay overpriced! Even more expansive than the bars around the Coloseum or other tourist places. It's sad, because I really like the Generator concept. But it's not even close to the other ones I visited before.

Smelt old and damp in their room on arrival, doors didn’t open onto balcony, dining room wasn’t at all welcoming, some plants and fairy lights would look loads better with a more varied menu. Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

And every morning we woke because of someone`s talking loudly in the yard. We cant even see the sky, because of tightness of the yard. Absolutely awful breakfast. noone from the staff pay attention to you. The salad was spoiled, pineapples turn sour. I will never stop in this hotel. it may have 2 star, not 4!

Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Cons: The hotel was located on a very noisy street, so the noise in the night is quite loud, you couldn't sleep with the window open. Also other guests do not seem to care about how loud they are when walking passed other rooms, whether it be early in the morning or late at night. For a 4 star hotel the bathroom should not have mould in the shower cupicle, they do need to sort that out.
