Pros: Location was very good, within easy walking distance from most of the hotspots. The staff were all fantastic - reception, concierge, doormen, all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well lit, with plenty of storage areas.
Cons: The pool area is quite small and felt cramped. The bathroom floor was wet all the time because water kept splashing out of the tub during showers.

Cons: The Spa was a great experience however a 5Star hotel should provide hot steamed towels during the massage . Hot towels weren't included. The Spa treatment should be upgraded.

Pros: Great location, safer and nicer than other locations in Rome, we walked to get to our tour of the Vatican. Avoid the tourist trap restaurants at landmarks and go to the amazing ones just around the corner from this hotel (head out of hotel and turn into street on the right. Book in advance). We were given 2 rooms combined for a family of 4. Breakfasts were adequate, nothing amazing. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: This hotel has been rated 4 stars which is completely undeserved. The rooms are tiny and the beds were a couch converted into a bed. There was no air-conditioning and we were told that was because it was winter and they only had heating then. The WiFi provided was slow and intermittent. There was an elevator which never worked and was always occupied. The location wasn't great. It's not walking distance to any of the sights.

Cons: - Tiny bathroom - Tiny TV screen, with almost no English channels - Antique small and slow elevator - The hot watter at the shower wasn't hot enough, sometimes even cold - The staff at the breafast was sometimes impatient - The hotel refused to loan us some towels for using at a watter park in Rome. I oferred a money deposit as a gurantee but they still refused I see this as unreasonable, especially since other hotels in Europe did loan us towels in the past.

Cons: Breakfast was poor in terms of selctions. It was mostly sweet pastries/finger pieces of pies/ cakes. One main dish of scrambled eggs, one day there is cheese other days none. So if u want savoury it's either eggs or cheese if u find. No toasted bread. No omelettes no hot food. Limited variety. It was unfortunate. We had a suite with no chair. Sofa bed was always open never used and if I close it its uncomfortable laid back seating. So either loe on my bed or lie on sofa and, no chair . Coffee/espresso not refilled. Drinks and food are over priced. 6 eur for coke.

Pros: The only thing that was close to five stars was the breakfast. The breakfast options was pretty good. The hotel is also close to the train station so if you’re travelling by train - this is handy.
Cons: Had this been a four star hotel with four star pricing, it would have been a good hotel. We expected more for a five star hotel. They didnt provide toothbrushes, the iron and ironing board were one per floor in a common area. The cleaning service didn’t replace anything not even the shampoo/body wash. The mattress was bad as well, could feel the spring while we were sleeping. They gave us one robe and one pair of slippers but we were two. Overall it’s overpriced and disappointing , definitely not your standard five star hotel. I wish I had chosen some other five star hotel chain.

Cons: I didn’t like the room. For family room, was too small and it was too difficult to unpacked and have our clothes outside luggages. In addition the hotel didn’t have good gym. And finally the most important for me when I'm staying at the hotels, they didn’t have night room service and sometimes we didn’t have clean towels for our night shower.

Cons: On May 10th, I handed over to the hotel's reception desk a Gucci branded coat to be cleaned in the neck area. The receptionist has confirmed that the hotel is dealing with such services. After a day, I got my coat dirty everywhere, impossible to wear. The receptionist was unable or unwilling to call anyone from the hotel management to discuss the situation. The hotel management did not respond to my email sent by which I was requesting compensation regardless of their nature.

Pros: The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is terrific as the Roma Termini is about 10 minutes away and that includes the Metro and bus lines. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are within 15 - 20 minutes away. The Cellini is expanding from 6 rooms to 12 rooms on two floors with a larger dining facility and balcony area for relaxing in October. We would definitely recommend staying there to our friends and family.

Cons: Breakfast was OK .. but glad we were there for only 3 days as it was the same very day and would be a little boring any longer. For such an expensive hotel it is surprising that the 'breakfast included' room rate was only continental .. if you wanted anything extra (like a pancake etc) you had to pay extra. Location was nice and central but beware if you come over the weekend it is extremely noisy outside at night time .. think competing bars with all different types of loud music playing. We were on the first floor over looking the main street. Shame that they decided to charge c. 5Euros for a small bottle of water in the room. When you pay 700-800 per night you would at least expect complimentary water.

Cons: We got off to a bad start as the interconnecting rooms I had requested and were referred to on the website were not available. I was annoyed about this as this was the reason I had chosen the hotel and they should have told us this was not possible. The reception offered us a free upgrade instead. I didn't want this I wanted the interconnecting rooms I had requested The reception offered to move us the next day and then when we took the rooms they had offered to us miraculously the same day they unlocked the connecting door and they were interconnecting but it did take a lot of hassle to get us what we had reserved. In the end we were very happy with the rooms but just unnecessary stress

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Our room Was enormous and spotless bathroom was big and very clean Breakfast was very good and served on the verandah overlooking the garden. It was very relaxing to sit in the garden restaurant after a long day sight seeing. Location was excellent a short walk from the termini. Walking distance to all attractions. We did but tickets on the on of bus and soon realised that we shouldn't have. Moderately fit 60 year olds managed all on foot just fine. Vatican city was a longer walk but you can get a local bus or taxi to that location. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The elevator, but that wouldn't really be an issue for Rome. Very small, but we crammed our suitcases and our bodies and made it to our floor. We didn't like the construction downstairs, heard all the way up to the 3rd and 4th floor. Hopefully they are almost done.

Cons: The room was pretty dark and the door didn’t latch well without slamming. Which means we missed slamming our door once and left it open all day, but it also means that you hear slamming doors all night long. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn’t work and the second bed was just a couch with a rollaway next to it. It wasn’t a real second double bed. The breakfast was inexpensive but it wasn’t very good so I’d recommend going out instead. We found cheaper food of better quality close by.

Cons: Main problem ... no hot water and staff seems to think that it is normal. Also, the towels do not seems to be clean. Actually, I was originally quite happy with the hotel ... its excellent location (walking distance from Roma Train Station). The staff appeared to be very friendly and we were able to get a kettle despite none is originally available at the room. We stayed five nights, but then small problems started to creep up. First, the kettle we first got did not really work, and the staff was friendly and changed a working one for us eventually. Then, most of the power sockets in the room are type L, instead of the tighter C or F, and the adapters we have often got disconnected or fall out. Loose socket connection is actually a safety hazard! Also, the refrigerator in room was not really that cold, the staff tried to help but it didn't really get it fixed. Then on the last night, there was no hot water, which was really bad considering it was August and we spent the whole day out in the sun. When we call the front desk, the reply was water pressure was low and not much they can do. That was a first for me, and checking the web, I found that this is a well complained problem, making it even worse (from my perspective). System does not seem to respect (and hence be able to respond to) customer complaints ! It is really a dent for me, after having a great 24 day tour in Italy and Greece.

The decor was poor despite having a recently redecorated room. The old patterns showed through the wall paint and the grout round the bath was mouldy. The shower overflowed on to the bathroom floor each time we used it so had to use the towels to mop it up. We would not chose to stay here again. Definitely not a five star in our opinion.
