We were in a queen room that I thought was pretty comfortable overall. Nice shower and bathroom. It was quiet, which is what I wanted.
I don't think there was enough closet/wardrobe space for 2 people staying 4 nights. I was disappointed that the terrace was reserved for "suite" type rooms and was off limits to me. Be aware that the traffic lane in front of the hotel is reserved for taxis and busses.
The lobby is beautiful. Breakfast was good.
The room. It was not the quality of a four star hotel. Felt like a three star hotel.
I do not like the hotel
Food excellent. Staff great
No view from room
Best thing about this hotel is the location and the breakfast. We booked 2 triple share rooms one was bigger than the other with views the other was smaller & no view. This was the most expensive hotel we booked in the city centre of London, Paris & Rome and the least value for money. Maybe if the breakfast was included in what we paid it would of been ok, given we stayed 4 nights they should of included it as it seemed nearly everyone at breakfast had the breakfast included in the room rate.
Worst thing was the bed was so hard I woke up crippled & had a sore back everyday. I did advise them & they said you should of told them in the morning & they would of changed the bed. Worst bed for our whole 3 weeks in Europe they said they would change the mattress but I didnt notice any difference not what you would expect for the price, Definitely not 4 star maybe 3 star - it had mold around the aircon vents in our bedroom & big gaps under the door frame in the bathroom like it hadnt been finished. What a shame as we really wanted to love this hotel & finish our trip off with the best.
