Pros: This hotel was perfectly located in Rome. The room even had a free mini bar (not that we used it). The breakfast was fantastic - heaps to choose from. We even got a free welcome drink. All the staff were attentive and helpful. The beds were one of the comfiest I have slept on. I could have stayed longer. Thank you

Cons: WiFi was weak. Hard to find. Several hotels in this same building. Lots of garbage and trash right outside of entry to building. Garbage cans were on ground floor near elevators. Bathroom was missing toilet paper. There was trash on the floor by the bathtub. Suspect that the pillows and mattress were old. Allergies went into overdrive during the night. Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

Cons: Poor staff looks tense and tired. They do their jobs but far away from the word “ hospitality or friendliness”. If you are the person who likes to give your smile to people and expect to be treated the same way, please don’t expect anything from tired staff. We thought it was typical for Rome, but we found we were wrong when we moved to another hotel in different area in Rome. In that hotel we were greeted with smile and conversation.

Cons: We got in late and ordered room service. After eating we called about our tray. They instructed us to put it outside of the door and someone would pick it up. The next morning, around 7am, the tray was still out there. That was kind of off-putting.

Pros: Good position to visit Vatican The beds are comfortable, had a good night sleep. Street is quiet during night which is a good thing.
Cons: 1. Inattentive waiters. We were the only table but instead paying attention to us, waiters were just talking together and I had to ask them multiple times to do their job 2. Breakfast below par. I've had better for less money. 3. Poor & weird billing system. Instead billing me at the end of our stay, the system automatically billed us 3 days in advance, then every night at 1am they tried to bill my card for each room 1night stay. Did not knew this and did not had available money in card all the time (I don't keep more than needed in the account associated with my card) so the system failed multiple billings, creating a mess. I'm saying it's weird because it didn't happened to me elsewhere and it's poor because even the total charge should have been 600€, they reserved 900€ from my cards. A week later all extra transactions have been reversed so in the end I didn't paid more but blocking 300€ extra from my credit cards could lead to some problems if you don't have the extra money during checkout. 4. Weird sliding bathroom door gave me no privacy. Don't choose this hotel if your relationship is at the beginning, from the room you'll hear all noises coming from the bathroom.

Cons: Although, very close to the Vatican, approximately a 10 min walk. The hotel is a little far from the other points of interest in Rome,at least a 40 min walk.

Cons: I could not use the telephone in the room to make calls. The technician came to have a quick try for about 15 seconds and then left. He did not speak English. So we did not know what happened. But the telephone was still not working. Anyway, it was not a big problem for us.

Cons: There isn't much to do nearby - location was just okay. It seemed very quiet with a lot of empty restaurants around the block. When we checked-in, the extra bed wasn't ready. Front desk staff Daniela is very rude. She was visibly irritated when I asked for the breakdown of charges, and when I asked to pay for the rooms with cash instead of a credit card. When I inquired about some of the charges I didn't recognize, she got even more irritated because she had to check other records! She couldn't even add up 2 rooms properly and assumed I didn't give her enough cash! And then she aggressively gave back all the cash when I was just asking for the change. She even raised her voice at me twice when I asked for her name (I didn't need to ask as they all wear name tags. It was out of courtesy). "why?!!! Why do you need my name?!!!" I thought she was going to grab the pen and paper out of my hands!! (I was just going to reference her in case the email she promised to send didn't arrive.) One other staff had to come over and try to smooth things over and apologize for her.

The room was not very big but had high celilings, a nice and big shower, Aqua di Parma toiletries and bathrobes. I was a bit concerned it could be noisy but we had a quiet room. For breakfast I loved that they cooked scrambled eggs or omelette and it was tasty. We also asked for check -out at 1 pm and it was nice it was provided

Cons: The breakfast was quite limited due to the small space - I could eat yougurts and scrambled eggs - so that was perfect for me. Wi-fi was not working in the lobby on the weekend probably because of the amount of people using it. The hair drier was not very effective and the room lacked the full-length mirror ( there were mirrored parts of the closet - so I could use it , but would love a full-length mirror inside

Pros: Nicely decorated hotel in an excellent location. Easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Also felt really safe walking round the neighbourhood, the hotel is really nicely decorated and modern. The restaurant is excellent - instagrammable but most importantly great food.
Cons: Don’t expect a 5 star by English standard, this is more a 4. Rooms are a little on the small side, however was perfect for what we wanted.

Cons: My problem with the room was that I couldn't seem to get any heat in the bathroom. In addition, I'm not an overly large person (180 lb. American male), but the shower area was just too small for me to move around comfortably.

Cons: First of all, the staff wasn’t nice at all, not qualified for a 4 stars hotel. I asked for an early check in since we arrived at 9 in the morning. They said they will try but not even after the people left from hotel, they didn’t give us a room keep saying isn’t ready. We finally got a room at 1 pm. In whole this time they didn’t ask if we need a coffee or a glass of water. For a 4 stars hotel they didn’t have a bathrobe and for slippers we had to ask at reception and it seemed they are doing us a favour. We asked for a restaurant nearby in the evening and the lady from reception was very bad informed, telling us is nothing opened nearby and we should go to another area which was far. We found by ourselves a restaurant 1 min walking from the hotel... :| Not a 4 stars hotel.

Cons: I have a diverse feelings about a staff there. The first day they were nice and after my cell phone got stolen (but not in the hostel) the man working at reception allowed me to use their computer to print my tickets and was very helpful. In the next morning when I wanted to book the same bed for another night the price suddenly was almost two times higher (14eur friday vs. 27eur saturday night). Since I didnt had a phone I could'nt check booking.com for actual prices there and for other options in the city so I agreed. Next day I met a girl from Mexico who was also looking for a place to stay and since apart from the last price I liked both Generator Hostels I've stayed (Rome and Berlin) I suggested her to go there with me. It was about 12.00 so before checking in we decided to spend some time in the hostels bar where is nice atmosphere. When we were on our way to the bar the lady who is working in reception stopped us and in very rude way said to me that she (mexican girl) is not allowed to go there because she is not a guest and only I can go. Also I dont understand why she didnt say it to her but to me, making her feel very bad and offended. Probably she assumed that she is just some local italian girl who I met on a street or some bar. So we just choose another place. If wasnt that situation we would stay there for two more nights (and mexican girl even four) because overall I liked that place.

Cons: We had one of the older rooms that have not been renovated yet. The plugs were still the old-fashioned Italian style, so we needed to buy an adapter, and the mattresses were inexplicably larger than the bed bases, so a bit of the mattress was hanging in the air, which caused a downward slope on the one part on the bed. This was unpleasant.

Then we were thinking of leaving and we were offered a room on the mezzanine level as they have been completely remodeled complete with new AC. Wow, it was like we were in a different hotel! Fresh and modern, great bedding and bath area. Stay in only the remodeld area only and you be very,very happy.

Pros: Loved the Art Deco decor! The receptionists were super helpful & kind. We had to skip breakfast but would definitely stay here again. An easy walk to the train station & good restaurants.

Pros: They were flexible
Cons: Windows were not clean, cannot be opened. Had a couple of incidents with rude staff; which shouldnt happen in a 5* . The rest of the staff was nice but the stay in general was way below expectation.

Cons: This hotel is terrible. The location does not feel safe, it’s extremely over priced and is more like a 2 star. The room look tired, dated and the bed was uncomfortable. The hairdryer was broken along with lights and mirror. The staff were friendly but the hotel is not a 4 star by service, look nor location. I travel a lot for work mainly and stay in hotels most week but this has completely put me off ever trusting the Radisson name.

Cons: ATMs at Radisson, were a scam & ran out of euros,still charged us for amount we requested even though their ATM was out of Money. We informed the front desk,they were unable to fix the situation,this happens frequently there was no out of order sign.

Cons: Hotel obsolete, rusty faucets, noisy air conditioning, dusty rooms, bad cleaning in the room and in the common areas. Everything has a sense of obsolescence. An hotel that was beautiful in the 90s, but unfortunately we are in 2019. In summary, a disaster.

Cons: However the surrounding area is bit low class so you expect to see undisrable faces looking at you so you have to be cautious

Cons: Bad design, falling apart bed, badly calibrated shower, running sink, no bathroom door the whole room is humid, very loud trains passing by. Apart from that a terrible check in experience for me and my colleagues. Extra charges were explained with a phrase "it is a 5 star hotel", refusal to change the room that stinks of cigarettes.

Cons: Breakfast was chaos. No plates, no clean glasses, and a coffee machine in ROME?! I was only offered a real cappucino the morning I checked out. Room service and bar service overpriced.
