Pros: The staff were without exception so friendly and helpful, the room (324) was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small and without a view, but had a great bed and very large bathroom including jacuzzi & substantial separate shower. The breakfasts were superb, with numerous daily freshly prepared delights brought round. We also dined twice in the excellent roof top restaurant because we had enjoyed the first dinner so much. We had a lovely stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Cons: Price of room with twin beds pushed together was $266 for one night. Price did not include WiFi. Desk clerk tried to get us to upgrade room for an extra $70 to get a double bed, free WiFi, and a small balcony. For $266/night, I would think they could throw in WiFi. Also asked desk clerk to make change for a 50 Euro. I was told they didn't make change and I should go to a small store across the street. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as there are many other hotels in the same area that provide more value for the money.

For that I paid 165 euros for a single room in early October which made me think that Romans have actually lost it when it comes down to money. Cons: I had believed this hotel would have a view of the gardens and that it fronted on them. Instead, there was a portion of the ancient wall and apartments in front of the hotel blocking any possible view. Also, I didn't feel it was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The furnishings in the room were dated.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Cons: the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Pros: The staff were all great. Easily was able to get directions to various sites, book restaurants and order taxis.location is a plus!
Cons: The rooms above floor 2 are old and are what are seen in pictures. The beds are worn and rooms dated. AC barely works. We moved to another room, same issue. Then we were thinking of leaving and we were offered a room on the mezzanine level as they have been completely remodeled complete with new AC. Wow, it was like we were in a different hotel! Fresh and modern, great bedding and bath area. Stay in only the remodeld area only and you be very,very happy.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & bright. Reasonably priced considering it is in the centre of Rome. We intend to return to the city & intend to stay at the Cosmopolita again.;

Cons: very noisy on Sunday night with disco pub downstairs till midnight, room is very small and narrow, too expensive with such poor facility

Pros: Couldn't ask for better location as a first time visitor. You can reach all the tourist spots on foot (that's what I did even though bus stops are only round the corner). Very good breakfast.
Cons: Room size - so small that I couldn't find any space to put my 'closed' suitcase.
