Pros: We spent 3 nights at the Orchid Key Inn and loved everything about it. The location is perfect, with many great restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by. The room was stylishly decorated with modern furnishings and was tucked into a quiet corner so the street noise was imperceptible. The pool is a tranquil, relaxing spot where we enjoyed cooling off and lounging for several hours each afternoon. The staff was cheerful and friendly, eager to help with any needs or questions. We would highly recommend the Orchid Key and will stay there again next time!

Pros: The B&B is located right across the street from the buterfly conservatory and very close to popular south beach. I found the location excellent. I also loved the building and decor. The breakfast was varied and of good quality. I was able to enjoy a very quiet sunrise swim in the warm pool. It is a smaller sized pool but it worked very well for my small frame. I also loved the privacy aforded by the quiet visitors and the layout of the facility.
Cons: I was happy with the bed but my husband would have loved a firmer one.

I even left a couple of things in my room after leaving, and they called right away and arranged to have it all shipped back to me -- so appreciated that! The pool was really nice and serene, beautiful grounds. Hemingway house was right around the corner... even though we were right off of Duval st, it was super quiet at night. Would love to return!!
Cons: The only thing I would change would be having a full-length mirror in our room -- having just the one bathroom mirror for multiple people was kind of hard to manage, but that's all :) Everything was really great.

Pros: We loved everything from the location to staff. The rooms were comfortable, it has a great pool, a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner and the a restaurant off the pool that serves lunch. Met the owner and he has been in the hotel business for years and you can see it's not just a business but a passion for him!

Pros: Nice resort with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We stayed in an "ocean view" room which had a very nice "beach area outside of our back door and veranda.
Cons: Parking is limited and constrained. The shuttle service to Old Town is inconvenient (2 hour intervals); but free. There are very few local (within walking distance) restaurants. The best, a Fridays, has closed.

Pros: The room we had was very nice. We had multiple view balconies and it had a townhouse like feel to it complete with a living room and 2 bedrooms/2 baths on different floors. The resort was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The 4 pools were located side by side with flora and fauna separating each other and were filled with salt water. Each pool area having fresh water showers to rinse off with. Check out was super easy, you just called the front desk to checkout.
Cons: The only negative comment is the parking. The number of parking spaces within the resort does not accommodate the number of guests. We had to park beside a Walgreens which was near the resort but did not have walkable pathways to the resort. We had to walk through trees and climb a slight hill that had no traction.

Pros: We made a reservation through kayak.com. We pointed out that we are looking for a hotel for 1 night for 2 adults and a child. We don't have interest in strange adult places, we are on family vacation. When we made reservation at kayak.com, we answered to a special question that the child is 9 years old. We were asked and out-stress that out. When we arrived at that strange place, they told us that this "property" is adult only and they will not accommodate us, nor they will refund our money. The receptionist said with oily voice that we will not receive our money back. And after that they withdraw our money for a service that they didn't provide. It's a shame. We were very frustrated, how on Earth this could happen. In Europe when somebody takes your money and doesn't provide requested service it could be treated as fraud. After that we spend several hours to find a proper hotel in that city and that costed us additional money. So thanks to kayak.com and that "hotel" we had a good "welcome party" in Key West.

Pros: The paradise inn was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and the pool was perfect. The location is great, close to everything. Even the complimentary breakfast was awesome. We stayed in south Florida for two weeks and this was our favorite stay.

Pros: Amazingly clean and well-maintained with a friendly staff. We were in Building 4 with an ocean view, not overlooking the swimming pools (there are six!) and the marina. Building 4 is quiet and peaceful and the balcony with a table and two chairs was comfortable. Food and service were good although I expected the Yellowfin Burger to be a Yellowfin Tuna Burger rather than a hamburger. The hourly free shuttle into central Key West is convenient; apparently it is a good idea to get on the shuttle list for afternoon/evening rides because everyone wants to go downtown for a sunset dinner.
Cons: Towels are not available at the swimming pools after mid-afternoon; take towels from your room. We sat at a table under the umbrellas outside the Yellowfin Bar & Grill in the afternoon and were completely ignored by the servers; somebody passing by could have stopped by to say "You have to order at the bar". The mandatory resort fees are high.

Pros: From beginning to end, our stay was phenomenal. This staff is professional and courteous. The resort community itself is gated with someone staffing the gatehouse. You must use your room key to renter the community. Room service is fast and the food options are good. They knock and drop it at the door. When we checked out we still had the use of the resort for the day which included kayaks, paddle boards and the pool. They also had jet skis and bicycles available. A friend of mine and I both brought our teenage girls and they loved it as well. In addition to the amenities, they also have outdoor ping pong, as well as a giant outdoor chess board and connect four.
This luxury resort in Key West provides free wireless internet, as well as an outdoor pool and a concierge. It offers 4-star rooms with an en suite bathroom equipped with a rain shower. There are a range of amenities on offer to those staying at The Marker Waterfront Resort Key West, such as a wake-up service, a garden and a 24-hour reception. Guests can also enjoy private parking on site. The rooms are air conditioned and feature a coffee maker, a mini bar and a private balcony. They all offer an alarm clock, heating and a flat-screen TV. Guests are able to enjoy a drink at The Marker Waterfront Resort Key West's bar and try Mexican and American style food in the restaurant. There is also a variety of breakfast options on offer every day. Pros: The Marker is a new build hotel in historic downtown Key West. It has a clean, modern feel with colors of white and blue. Landscaping everywhere makes you feel removed from the downtown craziness. My room was quiet, cool (too cool, I had to adjust the thermostat), and comfortable. I could have moved in I loved it so much, and the staff was very helpful. The salt water pools are great for light swimming, soaking, and day drinking.

Cons: The price. All in all, it ended up costing us over $700 for one night and this was a room without a view and with a “lanai” that was more of a very, mini balcony. Keeping in mind when you are in Key West, you don’ t spend much time in your room, I can complain that much - just next time I won’t book such a nice place :)

Pros: Staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive; location was a quick walk to anywhere; rooms were quiet and comfortable. There's a nice Cuban food stand across the street for a quick breakfast. The poolside staff made sure we had what we needed at all times and the lunches they deliver to poolside from the cafe' were great. Couples' massage was very relaxing. Can't wait to return!

Cons: Our room. It was next to the service area. They parked their cleaning dolly's in front of our window and had loud conversations from early morning. We couldn't look out the window as the maids were right in front. So much for ocean view. The door stuck to the point my wife couldn't open it. The AC unit was very noisy. Like on old ice machine. We experienced this when we returned from dinner and a night out so it was late evening, we didn't mention until check out. We we mentioned the morning of check out they were indifferent. Said we should have called maintenance in the middle of the night,

Pros: Partial ocean-view room had a great balcony with a beautiful view. Room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the hammocks at the Sand Bar and watching the sunset from the pier. Great location on the water, but close enough to Duval Street to enjoy all the restaurants and clubs with ease. The hotel restaurant was also exceptional. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rena and Luis were great staff that made our stay extra pleasant. My husband and I are expecting our first child and they surprised us with sparking cider cookies and a baby picture frame. Rena especially went out of her way to make our stay and enjoyable one. We decide to stay four nights instead if two and they discounted our rate. I didn't want to leave.

Cons: For the price you pay, the rooms are a little on the small side. After an evening on Duval Street, went back for a nightcap with my son. The rum runner I ordered tasted a little funny, but my son and I agreed it was ok. After drinking it, was advised by bartender he made it with all 151 rum because he was out of Bacardi at the time, "hope that was ok." Not what I needed for a nightcap. Another bartender on site, Arjay, was outstanding and personable.

Cons: I stayed last year with a friend and we had a great time. This year I had found out it had bought buy a corporation. What this proved to show to me is, no more smoking anywhere on the premises, jacked up prices, and no floaty's. In the pool. No robes or conditioner in the bathroom. Although small things, it really changed the experience when I had previously been so impressed. Will be looking for a new getaway next visit to key west.

Cons: very tiny, tiny bathroom. window was to look out at Duval street. impossible. rooms to small. stayed with because was a Crowne Plaza. was the worst one ever because of size and no BKF included. only friendly staff was the valet, probably for the tip. no thank-you, have a good day from from desk when checked out

Pros: The hotel is very centrally located, and has a nice lobby and bar, and the pool area looked good for families
Cons: The room had no window and was extremely dark. Light bulbs were burned out and the bedspreads were very dingy and dirty looking. For the money I paid, this was extremely disappointing.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The amenities and staff were outstanding. The location to all the hot spots in Key West was so convenient. We couldn't have asked more more. It made our wedding getaway that much more pleasurable.

Pros: The people where very nice, service was fast and accurate. The Cuban Sandwiches where very good. Great roast pork! I complimented the chef.
Cons: The extra charge for parking. It seems petty to charge $20 per night that your 1 car is parked in the parking garage. the cost for the weekend was plenty. The breakfast was good but a little pricey.

Pros: Ive stayed here before and had an excellent experience, which was what prompted me to return. Unfortunately, this time did not meet my expectations of a Waldorf property. Upon arrival there was not a single employee outside the hotel. I unloaded all luggage myself. There's NO ramp at this hotel, so i had to lug every suit case up the stairs. Sweating in a suit and arms full of bags and suit case handles, a customer sitting in the lobby ran out to hold the door for me, and even said, "wow, you'd expect more from the Waldorf" to which i said, "you read my mind." The front desk attendant was polite and informed me that valet was at a staff meeting and she did help me with my bags to my room. Also, I ordered room service one night. Like the card said, i called the number to have them retrieve my tray, which i left outside of the door. 12 hours later when i was leaving in the morning, the tray was still there. I didn't have a horrible experience by any means. But given that this is a waldorf property, i expected excellence, and i did not experience that.

Cons: The Key West View room we originally booked had an awful view of mostly other rooms, balconies, concrete and car park. You could see a bit of ocean from one corner of the balcony but to call that a room with a view was an exaggeration. We had to upgrade to get a nice view. The move to Ocean View room was expensive but totally worth it.

Pros: The pool would have been wonderful given the location and views of the ocean, but it was so dirty and unkempt....
Cons: We visited the pool nearly every afternoon for the entire week and not once was the pool cleared of leaves, grass, garbage. There was a spot on the pavement that a drink must have spilled or something and it was there for the entire 6 days. I was quite disappointed considering the resort fee is apparently supposed to cover towels/chairs by the pool. Also, it seemed staff was never around to help set up chairs, grab towels and the like, finally we just went and got our own. Very disappointed because this place has so much potential!

Pros: Beach and pools are great. Staff on the beach that set us up in our cabana was great, the only positive staff experience we had.
Cons: Front desk couldn't find our third party reservation so gave us an ultimatum of leave and try to get our money back or stay in a handicap room at current rate. Also told us never to book through a third party...then why do you participate in those sites?! 5 minutes after we were in our room they called and said, oops we found it you're good. Meanwhile charged us $200 to open credit card even though we had prepaid through 3rd party the charged our card another $330 the next day which they could not explain. In fact when i called down to front desk to ask for an explanation they said they were really busy with guests, but would try to assist. I laughed. They then just said it would be refunded at check out with no explanation. Room had dead fruit flies everywhere, it's Florida, I get it. We live here, but I asked the front desk to have someone come clean them up and no action was taken. We made the best of it, always do, but they will not get repeat business from us.

Cons: This property needs maintenance. So many things need repair. Elevators, facade, chairs, bedding, wood in rooms were all things noticed that needed repairs. For a 5 star property it's being maintained at a 2 star level.

Pros: Location is decent--fairly touristy area a half mile to mile from the most touristy areas. It was the cheapest option around this part of town, but still very expensive by most standards. Small parking area is available, but fills up and is first come, first serve.
Cons: Tile floors were stained and sticky. Mildew smell. Mattress and pillows old and uncomfortable. Air conditioner could barely keep up. Room included a refrigerator, but this also wasn't that cold even on the highest setting.

Cons: The building is dated and worn, it part of its charm. It worked great for us. We were concerned with the room next to ours they were loud and smoking heavy (the smoking came in our window). The concern ended quickly and the guys next to us ended up being no problem at all.
