Pros: We came down from NY to get married on the beach. While wandering Duval St. I found a new shirt that was perfect to wear for my wedding so I bought it, only problem was the shirt was very wrinkled. When we returned to the Orchid Key I stopped in at the front desk and asked Stacey if there was anything she could do to help and she was more than happy to. She brought a steamer from home the next day so I could steam my shirt! Then on the day of the wedding, I went and bought a bunch of flowers at Winn Dixie but had no way to make them into a bouquet. Save the day at the Orchid's bar. Terri told me to bring them in, and proceeded to unwrap and cut the stems down and tie them into a beautiful bouquet! If you ever find yourself needing a wonderful place to stay in Key West, this is the place. Super friendly staff, super nice room, super clean facility, and right off of Duval Street. If I could rate our stay here higher I would! Thank you so much for such an inviting and comfortable, stress free vacation! We will be back!!!!

The room was stylishly decorated with modern furnishings and was tucked into a quiet corner so the street noise was imperceptible. The pool is a tranquil, relaxing spot where we enjoyed cooling off and lounging for several hours each afternoon. The staff was cheerful and friendly, eager to help with any needs or questions. We would highly recommend the Orchid Key and will stay there again next time!

Pros: We fell in love with Orchid Key Inn the moment we pulled up! Its like stepping back into time when life was simple & vacation was for the exculsive! A beautifully remodeled 1950s style motel with real orchids for decorating, the amazing water features around the commons (bar, reception and pool area) drown out the sounds of Duvall St, and the suites are very comfortable, extremely clean, stylish and roomy! But nothing compares AND no one is excluded from the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ attention that each and every employee gives you while you're here! They'll remember your name, and your favorite drink to order at the bar, to what time you usually wake up and then ask you how you slept! If I could mention them all by name, I would, but I will say that you dont want to miss Terry & Alex at the bar! Who needs a comedy show when you've got them tending bar?! They kept us so entertained we didnt want to leave! Terry (The Bestest) even hand squeezed OJ for our complimentary bottle of champagne so we could have fresh mimosas!!! We won't stay ANYWHERE else on the island, ORCHID KEY INN is our HOME in KEY WEST! Can't wait to come back! Thank you for such an amazing birthday and Anniversary trip! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME ❤

Pros: I had the best night’s sleep in a hotel in my life here in their bed. Complimentary breakfast was a lush spread. Check in was amazing - greeted with two glasses of prosecco and personally escorted to our room. The room size was very generous with all the amenities one could want including little details like brand new loofah sponge, cotton buds and makeup remover wipes. Reminiscent of a spa. The reception asked us what we wanted to do and we asked if massages were possible- not only were they possible we had them in our room without having to drive or walk anywhere. The Gardens Hotel was such an amazing hidden gem- I can see why it was voted one of the best hotels in 2019! I would highly recommend and stay here again and again!!

Pros: The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming with such a willingness to help. The bed - so amazingly comfortable, perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The location is perfect: it's on Duval Street but at the quiet end so you get the best of both worlds. The Duval Loop (free shuttle bus around the Island) stops just opposite the B&B. Beautiful property with a homely feel. There is a lovely breakfast served on the front porch, perfect to set you up for the day. 2 mins walk to the beach (Atlantic side) and Southernmost Point. There is some free parking within a 5-10mins walk from the property, with a free drop-off right outside. I'd be more than happy to stay here again!

Cons: Definitely should have been told there were 18 steps up to the room, which did NOT even have a chair in it - well, actually, there was NO place (room) for a chair - very tight quarters. It we have known about steps - we would NOT have taken it - did not work for either of us with walking issues.

Pros: We made a reservation through kayak.com. We pointed out that we are looking for a hotel for 1 night for 2 adults and a child. We don't have interest in strange adult places, we are on family vacation. When we made reservation at kayak.com, we answered to a special question that the child is 9 years old. We were asked and out-stress that out. When we arrived at that strange place, they told us that this "property" is adult only and they will not accommodate us, nor they will refund our money. The receptionist said with oily voice that we will not receive our money back. And after that they withdraw our money for a service that they didn't provide. It's a shame. We were very frustrated, how on Earth this could happen. In Europe when somebody takes your money and doesn't provide requested service it could be treated as fraud. After that we spend several hours to find a proper hotel in that city and that costed us additional money. So thanks to kayak.com and that "hotel" we had a good "welcome party" in Key West.

Pros: We made a reservation through kayak.com. We pointed out that we are looking for a hotel for 1 night for 2 adults and a child. We don't have interest in strange adult places, we are on family vacation. When we made reservation at kayak.com, we answered to a special question that the child is 9 years old. We were asked and out-stress that out. When we arrived at that strange place, they told us that this "property" is adult only and they will not accommodate us, nor they will refund our money. The receptionist said with oily voice that we will not receive our money back. And after that they withdraw our money for a service that they didn't provide. It's a shame. We were very frustrated, how on Earth this could happen. In Europe when somebody takes your money and doesn't provide requested service it could be treated as fraud. After that we spend several hours to find a proper hotel in that city and that costed us additional money. So thanks to kayak.com and that "hotel" we had a good "welcome party" in Key West.

Pros: We were greeted by the lovely Mansur who couldn’t do enough for us! It was coming to the end of Fantasy Fest and we thought we’d never find a parking space. Mansur was so welcoming and kind. He was a real gentleman helping getting the luggage out of the car etc. He directed us to his parking space where we left our car for the whole stay. Our room (6)was lovely - spotlessly clean and we had a beautiful seating area outside with loungers and a table and chair. A real sun trap ! The pool was again spotless and we used it every day. The hotel is situated at the end of Duval Street , so is perfectly positioned for everything but quiet too. The restaurant next door was great and we had our complimentary breakfasts there every day. Happy hour 4-7!! We loved Key West and when we can next afford to visit, we will definitely book the Casablanca. Thank you for an excellent stay x

The location of KLI is great! It is easily reached by a taxi from the airport. It is located only a short walk from Duval St., and near the boarding//ticket area for tour buses, but well-removed from the "hustle and bustle"of that area. Importantly, it is very close to a pharmacy.
My room was kept super clean and the breakfast provided was great.
My stay was for 6 days, and I will plan to stay for an even longer time on another occasion.

Cons: I can’t find many things to complain about. The room initially had slightly odd smell but it went away hour later. They offer free happy hour drinks with house liquor to guests - which is awesome but would love to pay few dollars and get better alcohol and avoid huge headache.

Pros: Heron House was a lovely vacation spot. The staff were friendly and polite. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It was spacious and so relaxing. It was nice to sit out by the pool and enjoy breakfast. They create an environment of guests to mingle, if they so choose. I was grateful we choose this beautiful spot to spend our vacation after my 165 mile bike ride.

Cons: They lock you in the resort at night. I'm not kidding they lock you in. They give you a key to get out of the resort. It's a huge inconvenience when leaving and you have to dig through your stuff to get your keys to get out. I think this a a fire hazard but who knows. The ice machine sucks, it literally can not handle enough for 3 people to fill their glasses. We had 3 Caribbean sized cockroaches in our bathroom haha wife had panic attack. No one really cared at the resort. I understand it's humid and bugs love it at this resort.

Pros: This was a lovely motel with three pools. We stayed in an adorable cottage room. When we arrived early, the desk lady let us park and wrote passes for us to go to the nearby beach for free chairs and towels. Super nice staff.

Cons: There was a lot of outside noise: sirens, roosters, and partiers. The sound came through the walls. It was a holiday weekend in Key West--so I think it was a lot noisier than it normally would.

Cons: The acoustics were bad. There was a wooden porch connecting the rooms where I was and there were loud people outside until the wee hours of the morning. The room needed more insulation from the outside noise. The room was tiny and the bathroom was even tinier. The blinds on one side of the room were trashed and deformed. For $350 a night I expected better accommodations. The light on the dresser didn’t work. There was no light in the closet.

Cons: One of hardest beds I ever tried to sleep on. Please consider getting some better mattresses. The lady on breakfast prep needs additional training in customer service. NOT very friendly!!!!

Cons: Only 2 minor complaints about my room- There was only 1 mirror in the room and it was small and hung way too high over the bathroom sink. I could only see from my nose up. A seperate full length mirror would be nice. I never knew if I really looked OK until I walked around the corner and caught my own reflection in a storefront window. Also, there was one small chest in the room, perfect for setting your suitcase on. I hate using the floor. Plus the room was not that big. But once I put my suitcase there there was literally no more surface in the room to put stuff on. Nightstands were tiny. So I had to move my suitcase. A folding luggage rack would be a great help. Neither of these issues are expensive to correct but would go a long way in increasing the comfort of your guests.

Cons: I paid over $---- for 2 nights. They placed me in roon 411. Across the street from the beach 2nd floor dark room with 2 beds and mold smell. I got moved to a better room but still felt this part of the hotel is run down.
