Key West hotels in Old Town North of Truman

Pros: The cottages are lovely; very quaint interiors. The surrounding foliage is beautiful. I was upgraded to a two room cottage.

Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Slight flexibility with checkout time would have been appreciated.

Pros: The resort is broken up into small pool areas.

Cons: We were given a street facing room which had road construction going on all week, making the balcony unusable and preventing sleep at night. The VACANCY sign was posted at the office. We feel they should have been sensitive to this situation and given us another room.

Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with really stunning landscaping and great pools.

Cons: Pricey, but worth it in my opinion

Cons: Dirty carpet. Shower nozzle turned and wouldn't go to hot until one of staff came and fixed it. Also not good pressure.

Pros: - Quiet on the inside, with great staff and a cozy environment - Access to stores - Ability to use the common facilities after check out. This helped us as we had to go parasailing after check out. We were happily allowed to come back, use the temporary parking, use the common bathroom to take a shower and freshen up.

Cons: - It would be nice if the check in and checkout times were longer.

Pros: Great location on Duval at Mallory Square waterfront.

Cons: The 4:00 am rooster, friendly bird but took his wake up service very seriously. Being located at Mallory , the 5:30 am dumpster collection finished any further attempts to remain in the comfortable bed. Great facility, noisy location.

Pros: My visit was due to a wedding I attended at the resort. Location was beautiful.

Cons: Overall the staff were helpful, kind and considerate. The room housekeeper did not understand English and I was unable to get items requested of her.

Pros: Wonderful view from the room of sunset island and sunsets, awesome pool with great drinks and bartenders that'll bring them to you in the pool, great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, loved every minute of staying here!!!

Pros: Customer service and staff was excellent. The view of the Golf of Mexico was paradise.

Pros: the location is perfect, right in the heart of everything. The decorating is whimsical masking the garage. the pool area is comfortable and friendly.We were able to rent great bicycles right there.

Cons: Our room had no view; we were practically on a parking lot with cars parked a few feet away. We had asked for a quiet room with a view and we were supposed to get a "view of the Old Town". "Island view" means looking out on a car park! The room had a connecting door to another room and we could hear all from next door (and they from us). Front desk staff quite rude: if you book with Booking.com, you'll automatically get the worst rooms, this is what you get if you go for their low rates..., we were told. There is no beach, just a small pool. However, we were able to leave after 2 nights.

Pros: Best location for Key West. Every thing is close by, Not cheap but worth it.Would stay there again

Cons: Restaurant was closed on the last day of our stay. No idea why.

Pros: The location was great - right near the pier and overlooking the ocean.

Cons: Our room was large (we were in a 1 bedroom suite), but everything was dated in the room. Plus, I found some leftover trash from what I imagine was the previous occupant in the bedroom so seems like housekeeping was not very thorough. Staff at the front desk was ok, but not incredibly helpful, just average.

Pros: The location was great, staff at front desk were friendly, the pool area and the rooms were all good and comfortable, bathrooms were nice. Overall very good experience

Cons: The cupboards in the rooms under tv (518 and 520) were very tatty - chipped etc not good for the image and price we were paying

Pros: The location of the resort is better then most, the one LCD/Plasma TV in the room was nice, and the bedding was comfortable.

Cons: They failed to notify us that the hotel would be under going various construction activities during our stay (water pipe repairs/changes, elevator nearest room didn't function, etc... or that we would be forced to endure daily the excruciating noise of rigs pounding in 100'+ metal beams immediately adjacent to the pool as part of pier repairs. The concierge's changed daily and apparently make a considerable amount of money from referral fees/commissions paid directly to them by vendors providing any and every type of service (boat outings, dinner reservations, car rentals, etc...) to the tourists. This resulted in Concierge B on Monday providing us completely different recommendations then Concierge A had on Saturday. This was so extreme it would have been comical had it not left me with absolutely no faith that any of them were actually interested in meeting my/our needs which is really the heart of what I did not like about this hotel and did not feel was properly represented in the comments shown on Bookings website. This was merely one stop in a lengthy vacation my wife and I took for our 15 year anniversary, but it was supposed to be the highlight as we were there for 10 days and willing to pay for the best of the best throughout. In all reality it was clear that if we had just drove up for the weekend we would have received a better rate and room.

Pros: The location, decor, and service were excellent, and the amenities were most pleasant.

Pros: Nice room with ocean view, we even got to pick between which ocean view we wanted when we got to the hotel. Valet parking is nice. We didn't have time to use the jet bath tub though. Still very good hotel, which can't have a more central location than it does. The place to be, if you can afford it.

Cons: No, not really. All good, even the price we got through booking.com was ok.

Pros: Nice room. Loved balcony with partial view of ocean and Mallory Square. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons: Hotel has a lot of construction work going on at present. No pool currently available. Their website keeps extending the time for completion. I saw no progress on the pool area during my visit and it looked a long way from being completed. They did offer free cab fare to a beach or another hotel pool across town. Noise from construction not too bad, but if I was paying full price for room I would be very unhappy. For the price I paid, I can't complain. Construction noise was also worst early in the day. Starting before 8:00am time indicated on their web site.

Pros: We loved the pool bartender, Tom. He was very attentive and a great guy. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was kept very clean.

Cons: Not so many fees. We arrived an hour early to check in and they wanted to charge us $40.

Pros: Nice facility with helpful staff. Most activities are within walking distance. Nice pool and lounge areas.

Pros: Location was perfect to marina where my son’s wedding was held.

Cons: Hotel was expensive and they still charge $35 a day for parking. The breakfast was expensive and not very good.

Pros: The Marker is a new build hotel in historic downtown Key West. It has a clean, modern feel with colors of white and blue. Landscaping everywhere makes you feel removed from the downtown craziness. My room was quiet, cool (too cool, I had to adjust the thermostat), and comfortable. I could have moved in I loved it so much, and the staff was very helpful. The salt water pools are great for light swimming, soaking, and day drinking.

Cons: I cannot think of anything!

Pros: The location is very convenient to the waterfront and west end of Duval. Nice pools with a fully stocked bar and restaurant next to the pools.

Cons: Price wise a far bit on the high side, but its KW.

Pros: The hotel was amazing, very clean, quiet, friendly staff, great location, wonderful landscaping, clean salt pools. We really enjoyed our stay. This was the best place we have stayed in key west so far. We will return.

Cons: My only suggestion is to watch for those extra fees (resort fee, parking fee, room amenities...). It was a bit much on top of the already expensive cost per night.

Pros: Great location, nice staff and overal nice surprise because I didn’t expect much after picking one of the cheapest options to stay in Key West for a night while being close to action.

Cons: I can’t find many things to complain about. The room initially had slightly odd smell but it went away hour later. They offer free happy hour drinks with house liquor to guests - which is awesome but would love to pay few dollars and get better alcohol and avoid huge headache.

Pros: The rooms super modern and clean. All adult a super plus! Multiple pools. Definitely felt catered to. They had beach towels on every lounge chair around each of the pools. Those towels seem to magically be replaced after someone removed one. I am going back to key west and I am staying here!!

Cons: Breakfast had hard boiled eggs I wasn't in the mood for them but the breakfast was great. (This is more of a me problem not really a flaw of the hotel.) there was no parking however there is no parking in key west. It's just a fact again not a flaw of the facility.

Pros: The location is great! Just a short walk to all the highlights of Key West. The staff was warm and welcoming and the rooms are comfy

Cons: We were there on the Monday of Memorial Day. It’s a bit noisy as our beds were so close to the entry door but they close the pool promptly to alleviate the late nite part crowd Parking can be a little difficult but we got lucky w this.

Pros: We spend 2 nights there and wish we could stay longer.
