Pros: We came down from NY to get married on the beach. While wandering Duval St. I found a new shirt that was perfect to wear for my wedding so I bought it, only problem was the shirt was very wrinkled. When we returned to the Orchid Key I stopped in at the front desk and asked Stacey if there was anything she could do to help and she was more than happy to. She brought a steamer from home the next day so I could steam my shirt! Then on the day of the wedding, I went and bought a bunch of flowers at Winn Dixie but had no way to make them into a bouquet. Save the day at the Orchid's bar. Terri told me to bring them in, and proceeded to unwrap and cut the stems down and tie them into a beautiful bouquet! If you ever find yourself needing a wonderful place to stay in Key West, this is the place. Super friendly staff, super nice room, super clean facility, and right off of Duval Street. If I could rate our stay here higher I would! Thank you so much for such an inviting and comfortable, stress free vacation! We will be back!!!!

Pros: We spent 3 nights at the Orchid Key Inn and loved everything about it. The location is perfect, with many great restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by. The room was stylishly decorated with modern furnishings and was tucked into a quiet corner so the street noise was imperceptible. The pool is a tranquil, relaxing spot where we enjoyed cooling off and lounging for several hours each afternoon. The staff was cheerful and friendly, eager to help with any needs or questions. We would highly recommend the Orchid Key and will stay there again next time!

Pros: We fell in love with Orchid Key Inn the moment we pulled up! Its like stepping back into time when life was simple & vacation was for the exculsive! A beautifully remodeled 1950s style motel with real orchids for decorating, the amazing water features around the commons (bar, reception and pool area) drown out the sounds of Duvall St, and the suites are very comfortable, extremely clean, stylish and roomy! But nothing compares AND no one is excluded from the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ attention that each and every employee gives you while you're here! They'll remember your name, and your favorite drink to order at the bar, to what time you usually wake up and then ask you how you slept! If I could mention them all by name, I would, but I will say that you dont want to miss Terry & Alex at the bar! Who needs a comedy show when you've got them tending bar?! They kept us so entertained we didnt want to leave! Terry (The Bestest) even hand squeezed OJ for our complimentary bottle of champagne so we could have fresh mimosas!!! We won't stay ANYWHERE else on the island, ORCHID KEY INN is our HOME in KEY WEST! Can't wait to come back! Thank you for such an amazing birthday and Anniversary trip! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME ❤

Cons: Breakfast had quite some variety but still not exciting, eggs way overcooked. Had to close the curtains, which were blackout as everyone could see right into the room from the pool area. Not a bench or seating to be found in the smoking area in the parking lot. (Probably a huge plus for nonsmokers)

Pros: Not far from the south end of duval street so well positioned for restaurants bars and walking to pier- UBER was $10. Rooms were clean, modern and the 2 pools were private - in a courtyard and not visible from outside. The ambience of the pool and rooms were enhance due to the trees and plants. The Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating - took time out to explain where things were and what to do. We rented a room for 4 people (2 bedrooms with balconies and bathrooms, a kitchen lounge with balcony overseeing pool). There was a restaurant on site but we did not use it. Looked good though.

Cons: Very difficult to say what could be better. I suppose the temperature of the pool was too hot! Very usual for me to say that as I struggle to get into cool sea or pools but it was so hot it didn’t refresh you! There was building works going on next door but once the music and the fountains around the pool started it was downed out.

Cons: I did not like about this hotel were the extra fees. We were charged extra for having more than 2 people in a suite and also a resort fee which paid for beach access, wifi, etc. When you are paying a premium rate you expect these to be incl. in rate.

Pros: We made a reservation through kayak.com. We pointed out that we are looking for a hotel for 1 night for 2 adults and a child. We don't have interest in strange adult places, we are on family vacation. When we made reservation at kayak.com, we answered to a special question that the child is 9 years old. We were asked and out-stress that out. When we arrived at that strange place, they told us that this "property" is adult only and they will not accommodate us, nor they will refund our money. The receptionist said with oily voice that we will not receive our money back. And after that they withdraw our money for a service that they didn't provide. It's a shame. We were very frustrated, how on Earth this could happen. In Europe when somebody takes your money and doesn't provide requested service it could be treated as fraud. After that we spend several hours to find a proper hotel in that city and that costed us additional money. So thanks to kayak.com and that "hotel" we had a good "welcome party" in Key West.

Cons: On my last day I asked the night manager to keep some frozen steaks in the freezer for me as I was leaving at 5am. He was very courteous and said it wouldnt be a problem. He put my room number on it. however, the next morning they could not be found in time for my flight. Fortunately my friend who was leaving later in the day was able to collect them. But I did not benefit from my $250 purchase.

Cons: The price. All in all, it ended up costing us over $700 for one night and this was a room without a view and with a “lanai” that was more of a very, mini balcony. Cons: The acoustics were bad. There was a wooden porch connecting the rooms where I was and there were loud people outside until the wee hours of the morning. The room needed more insulation from the outside noise. The room was tiny and the bathroom was even tinier. The blinds on one side of the room were trashed and deformed. For $350 a night I expected better accommodations. The light on the dresser didn’t work. There was no light in the closet.

Cons: I didn't think the linens were really up to the standards of an expensive hotel. There was a plastic like cover on the mattress which I couldn't stand. The staff gave me an extra comforter to cover it which made it a lot better. The pillows were hard. We had one bar of soap to share between the shower and 2 sinks. The window blinds were cheap and didn't cover the window adequately, and so much light came through from the security light that we couldn't sleep. We covered it with paper after the first night. It looked like they never cleaned behind the bathroom door.

Cons: It was the most expensive run down room we have ever stayed in. We came for Fantasy Fest, so it was a busy weekend, but it was not worth it. We paid $800/night for a Deluxe King room that was equivalent to a two star hotel. The first room they gave us had broken furniture and a weird smell. We went down to the front desk, and the staff was accommodating and switched us to another room that was a little better. The building is old, so the rooms are very small....especially the bathroom. The staff is very nice and the location was great. The hotel has potential to be an amazing place, it just needs a LOT of updating. We won't stay there again.

It is not fancy yet clean with everything in working order. They have bikes to rent and a couple of friendly quiet birds off front deck to entertain you. The pool was the perfect size. There is parking out front on street and several out back which was appreciated.

Cons: I've stayed at Waldorf Astoria properties before, and this one just didn't quite match up: I requested a king room and we got a room with two doubles and there was nothing else available; one of the pillowcases upon arrival to the room appeared to be smeared with dried blood from someone's nose and when we asked the front desk to replace it, they said they would do it right away but it wasn't changed until the next day; the housekeeping staff didn't seem to have a checklist of any sort, because every day something was missing (towels, coffee pods, water). The common spaces were lovely but - fully aware we had booked a room at a discounted rate - the room was pretty dingy, which surprised me for a WA property.

Cons: The resort was nice but it had a few down falls to it. The piers located on the property were damaged and closed. The staff was not very informative and semi friendly. The breakfast on the resort was super expensive. There was not jacuzzi or hot tub and the beach barely had access to the water, only a small piece of the area you could walk from the sand into the water. The rest of it was lines with large boulders or rocks. The pool area did not have any shallow areas for small children and no splash pads.

The cost was up there with other Waldorf’s but you’re definitely not getting what you pay for here.

Pros: the staff was pretty nice.
Cons: There was loud construction at 8 am right outside our door, the layout was very confusing, and we were hit with last minute fees. The room was that of any cheap hotel... It was not worth the thousands of dollars we spent to stay here.

Cons: Hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. Not a great room. Terrible smell caused by seaweed (not the fault of the hotel). I was expecting something much better based on the images. Nearly checked out the day I arrived but decided to stick with it. Pool was nice (just about far enough from the seaweed).

Pros: Reception Staff was the only redeeming quality of the "resort".
Cons: The hotel was in very poor condition, and although it is scheduled to be closed for renovations, there is no way it should be operational, in its current condition without disclosure. To add insult to injury, the beach was so loaded with seaweed, the odor was horrendous. This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in 20 years.

Cons: The room wasn't clean. Customer service wasn't good. The smell outside, as soon as you get out of room was very bad. You couldn't use the beach in front of hotel.Wifi wasn't working. Not even a place to hang the towel. Not worth at all for the price. I asked to cancel one night and they don't wanted to do it.

Cons: Unfortunately lots of seagrass prevented us from swimming. Overload of people in Pool and therefore pool got dirty. Seagrass is out of control for Hotel but Pool should be maintaained properly

Cons: Hotel was very old and not worth paying $'----- a night. The Reach hotel doesnt have a direct number and even to order extra toiletries to your room it goes through Casa Maria ( other Waldorf hotel in key west) and No housekeeping got it for us.

Pros: Location. Everything else was below expectations for a Waldorf Astoria.
Cons: Hotel Room AC did not work well room was warm and humid. Shower water took several minutes to warm up. Room and bathroom doors were rusty and dirty. Valet parking is only option and Valet guys don't want to work early morning and take forever to get car.

Cons: Construction supports being installed below my room ( at times loud) to shore up the building's structure - not a comforting sight for an architect! They should wait till the hotel closes to do this. One elevator, and sometimes two out of order.
