We arrived at 12:30am and, along with several other customers, to discover they had no cars despite all of us having reservations. They locked the doors & wouldn’t talk to us for awhile, then told us all to come back the next day. We had to take an Uber 45 minutes to and from our hotel. Will not use them again- terrible customer service. What is the point if a reservation if they don’t hold a car for you!?Reviewed 14 May 2023

Rental car rates have become outrageous. But then, to pay that much to rent a car and then have to wait for nearly an hour in line to pick it up after you have flown for hours and still have a 3 Hour Drive ahead is ridiculous.Reviewed 31 Oct 2022

I made a mistake on my booking dates and did not realize it until after the rental period had started. While excellent costumer service would have been too let me rebook with perhaps a fee, good customer service would have been to offer some kind of discount or upgrade. Dollar would have none of that. They took my free money and effectively told me to buzz off. I assure you, I won't give them any more of my money. Also, note that Dollar and Thrifty are subsidiaries of Hertz.Reviewed 3 Jun 2022

Beware - smaller car was provided than was reserved (causing us to have a seat filled with luggage and luggage on our laps), and NO communication between the place you call and the rental locations. I was told I could stop by any location for an upgrade, but they couldn’t provide details on inventory, I had to physically go (and of course when I did, no cars were available).Reviewed 25 Apr 2022

The upsell experience was off the charts negative. The desk representative created a very negative sales upsell experience through fear, uncertainty and doubt about insurance, liability, gas, etc....leaving me not trusting him or Dollar at all and potentially adding over $500 in unnecessary fees at the start. At the end there were $87 in hidden charges that were not expressed in the booking process either. Both of these make my experience mediocre at best and left with the perception that Dollar is not a very trustworthy provider.Reviewed 5 Apr 2022
