Pros: Friendly staff and excellent service

Pros: Food was not great but it is always nice to have a hot meal provided on the flight and I also appreciated the Maui Brewing beer they offer during beverage service.

Cons: I was seated in the back row and found it difficult to rest/relax on this overnight flight from Auckland to Honolulu because the flight crew was in the back socializing very loudly to the point where it was unprofessional. I could tell that I was no the only guest annoyed by the noise.It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional to behave this way while on the job especially during the announcements that I couldn ot understand because of the talking behind me. I fly Hawaiian Airlines often and have never had this type of issue. I was surprised that none of the other crew members said anything to the noisy group of hosts/hostesses.

Cons: Seats too close together, barely recline, have to use own device to watch a very limited selection of programs

Cons: Getting through the ag inspection followed by security was a bear!!!

Pros: The crew were excellent - I lost my passport on boarding and they were very helpful finding it

Pros: I have not flown international in a long time. It was confortable and entertainment was great. The only thing I did not like is that with New Zealand air one can only check in 1 bag for free. We stayed in NZ for 18 days. The other airlines let you check in 2 bags. For an international flight 2 bags is only fair. Thanks.

Cons: Ordered a vegan meal for flight companion pre-flight; we *both* received a vegan meal (it seems like people with incompatible diets cannot book their flights together). Flight seemed to have run out meals since a random third person in my row requested an extra meal and was told they were out. Flight etiquette of other passengers would have been nice; for example, it was also fairly unsafe for a father and child to keep walking up and down the aisles, let alone the bumping into people they kept doing.

Cons: It was great. . .We thought a 16 hr flight would be gruling, but it was not at all!! Comfortable seats with plenty of room and lots of bathrooms. The flight attendants were awesome

Cons: Those seats were not comfortable; each row was too narrow, felt like a Sardine fish packed in the can. After back home, swear not fly with Qantas again.

Cons: I changes flights to leave out of Sydney instead. I ended up paying 304.00 in change fee even thought i booked flight using 80,000 miles reward travel still was charged to change the flight

Cons: For a flagship airline, a in seat screen should be a given. This is not a budget airline.

Cons: This flight was purchased as business/first class and upon checking economy seat tickets were printed. We are NOT happy with the downgrade after American Airlines was more than happy to take our money for the higher class ticket. We would not have booked this flight as a red eye had we known we would have had economy seating. On top of which, the unseat entertainment for the row we were seated in was not working. I am usually quite happy with the American Airlines flights between Boston and LA, however this unexpected downgrade was not only surprising but extremely disappointing.
