Leg room seemed cramped compared to previous domestic flights .
The food was really tasty, crew were attentive and approachable
Ok flight, except for the lack of a clean airplane. The obvious quick turn around in schedule means that Qantas hasn’t allowed enough time to clean the plane from previous flight. So food scraps and old packaging is nearly always found around the seat and seat pocket. Not to mention the walls and all fixtures.
I liked that the flight was operated by Emirates - very friendly staff, excellent service. Improvements - Boeing 777-300ER has very narrow seating compared to A380 which is much more comfortable for long flights.
The crew provided excellent service
Packed service but handled well for a short flight.
Very good service throughout.
Seamless flight, Qantas have really lifted their game.
Left rather late but did the best to make up time..
Vegetarian food.
My flight from Sydney to LA the headphones and the jack didn’t work. I informed the crew member it was an over 15 hour flight with no sound in entertainment. I asked if they had kosher or halal options in one of the flights to Brisbane, the crew member wasn’t pleasant in the reply. I took the vegetarian option that’s fine but surely the crew member can say no in a more pleasant way. Although I had a great time in Australia. Thank you
The staff at the airport could be much helpful and nicer
No individual entertainment screens on this flight. Would have been nice to know beforehand.
No changes needed. All good. Very smooth landing. 👍
Ease of boarding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. In flight entertainment great.
MY travel plans were canceled and l tried thru KAYAK and Quantas to cancel this flight and was not able to confirm cancelation but still received flight boarding. l tried to get refunded thru Kayak and that has been horrible long unreasolved task now l am trying to go thru Credit card. with this Covid changing world, airlines and travel companies should be refundable especially since this is a Australian airlines. l am about to lose $1000.00.
Pros: The crew was outstanding, had the same lady from the crew on the departure to Australia and on the way back to Dallas take care of me with the unlimited bundaberg ginger beer and hourly checkup to see if I needed anything else.
Cons: Business does not have salad for everyone, I missed out salad
Cons: No vegetarian food option. Seat uncleaned. Last seat on plane separate from family with people constantly standing next to and bumping at toilets - little consideration fro Covid-19
Cons: I had a 3 hour layover in Auckland before my connecting flight to Queenstown on the South Island. Quantas delays in Melbourne wiped that out forcing me to pay $500 NZD for a later flight on Air NZ. After contacting with Air NZ customer service and explaining the circumstances, they reduced it to $100 NZD. Pretty cool. Quantas basically said that since I had purchased a rock bottom priced ticket I should take a flying you know what at a rolling donut.
Pros: Crew ok
Cons: Seat comfort and meals left a lot to be desired...
Cons: Love that they fly an a380 into christchurch - a bit overkill but was told it is cheaper to overnight the plane in christchurch vs Sydney or Melbourne
Pros: The crew could be less curt and more engaging. Coming from Guest Services in hospitality, leisure and tourism it is obvious that body language and sincere engagement stands out. That wasn’t the case for the Qantas flight.
Cons: I was unable to checkin or select seats. Understandably this is governed by immigration laws and not airlines but on three attempts I was able to pay for the seats without a receipt only to learn later that the charge did not go through. A little bit of transparency never costs anyone.
Cons: 30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed. I do NOT understand this.
Cons: I got pulled aside and delayed my boarding because someone wanted to switch my seat. WHY do I have to be delayed for this? I felt it was very poor customer service. I. You can just print a list and ask at the aircraft's entrance.
Pros: Boarding through two doors made the process faster.
Cons: A better explanation of the lunch choices would be helpful
Pros: Crew and beverage options were great.
Cons: Seats could have been more comfortable. And slightly more leg room would have been preferred for a 14hr flight.
Cons: It’s ridiculous that Cheaptickets (your contracted agent) did not answer the phone to change flights. And when they did answer the phone, charged extortionate change fees above and beyond Qantas fees even during the coronavirus pandemic.
Pros: Fast checking and good service on board
Pros: Thank for the great staff
Cons: The chicken dish was a disappointment q
