No refunds for flights that I could not take due to Covid restrictions
Cons: "They were not able to seat me next to my partner despite us having booked/selected our seats 6 months in advance. Additionally, the check in process took forever and we had a bunch of issues getting on the flight"

They were very unhelpful and on topof that kayak did not let us know there would be a $160 fee if we did not order a seat with a baggage. It was not clear on the third party site. It was a very costly for us, a couple who is on a budget. i book From kayak all the time, and know exactly when I am booking an economy ticket vs a more upgrade. We had to pay an unexpected $320 on the day of flight. It was ridiculous and while we were boarding the flight attendants held us up again bc we had not paid the fee. But we tried to pay the fee at the front desk the first time and then we paid it at the gate and then boarded last on the plane. It was awful. The staff did not know anything and we were not treated great. Super unprofessional and disappointed at Kayak for not laying out all the costs ahead of me."
Just to be clear, this was NOT QANTAS. It was American Airlines. Never flying with them again.
Cons: "Love that they fly an a380 into christchurch - a bit overkill but was told it is cheaper to overnight the plane in christchurch vs Sydney or Melbourne"
Cons: "This flight was purchased as business/first class and upon checking economy seat tickets were printed. We are NOT happy with the downgrade after American Airlines was more than happy to take our money for the higher class ticket. We would not have booked this flight as a red eye had we known we would have had economy seating. On top of which, the unseat entertainment for the row we were seated in was not working. I am usually quite happy with the American Airlines flights between Boston and LA, however this unexpected downgrade was not only surprising but extremely disappointing."

All I wanted to do was spend fifteen minutes reviewing my diary and directions for the visits planned here. This is the Irish version of hospitality. God bless his departure."

Cons: "I bought a bottle of water to take on the plane and had to get rid of it as there was a baggage check for liquids after security and before boarding. Every thing on board cost, even a can of pop but we were not allowed to bring any drinks. Seems like a way of gouging customers. Also no free entertainment option."
