The room service was perfect, the rooms were cleaned a lot of times during the day and it’s like a service I’ve not seen before. The spa is probably the best in Toronto with everything you could ever need, massage, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzis, salted pool and lots of treatments. The club lounge is perfect with the best service.

Cons: The only downside to the Grand is the city that has grown up around it. The location is unfortunately surrounded by construction, but this seems to be the new normal in Toronto. We heard no noise from our room, and the location is still very convenient.

Cons: The parking and entry was hard to find. They need to add better directions. The room was clean and neat but very small. There was a small club chair but it had to be squeezed in between the bed and the wall and was probably 2-3 feet from the TV. Also, the pillows and mattress were terrible. Not at all what I would expect from a Hyatt (or what I have experienced at other Hyatt properties).

Cons: The room was noisy and extremely hot. We were told nothing could be done about the temperature even though there was an individual thermostat in the room. We were told to make use of a fan. It took and day and half (after several telephone calls) to have a fan delivered.

Pros: This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, we love the location, good for subway but we walked most places. If I could find any fault with the property its a bit noisy at night, but you'll find that in any city centre accommodation, maybe it would benefit double glazing in the rooms that face the busy road side. The housekeeping lady was great as our son liked to sleep later and she was very accommodating with him. Hopefully we will be back again soon.
