Pros: The hotel was amazing. The rooms are huge, clean, comfortable beds and large bathrooms as well. The staff are so kind! They will help you with anything you might need. There are a few restaurants in the hotel and they’re all very tasty. The location is just in the heart of Toronto, a few minutes away from the main attractions. I also very much appreciate them decorating the room with cupcakes and a bottle of wine for my birthday!

Pros: Facilities were excellent, room was
comfortable and quiet. Bellmen and
Valets were quiet good. Clerks were
efficient—with billing error quickly
corrected.
Cons: Shortly after arriving we wandered into
the library restaurant. There was a
sign that said: “Wait to be Seated.”
We did so and the hostess asked
our Room number and we complied.
We were seated and we proceeded
to the serve yourself area with
plates in hand and a few items on
our plate when we were informed by
a gentleman that we were not
eligible for that restaurant. We
said we were sorry and proceeded to
return the plates with food on them.
We secured our belongings from
the table and left.
A small sign would have been quite
helpful where we entered saying the
restaurant had restrictions on who could
be seated. We had not been the
hotel long at the time and I later
read in a publication that restaurant
had restrictions. There were no signs
posted in the hotel that I could find
regarding restaurants that explained
the situation. I don’t want to blow
this out of proportion but it was
somewhat embarrassing.

Pros: Rooftop pool on the 28th floor was amazing!
Cons: Honestly, we're booked and paid for a room with 3 guests, but everything from soap and shampoo to bathrobes and coffee cups for the Nespresso machine were for only 2 people. We had to call and request extra supplies.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Clean, modern hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful. Nice amenities in the room: coffee, milk, water, lights, etc.
Cons: Hard to figure out room - controls difficult to find, shower uncomfortable, not enough storage space in room. Hotel is in a deserted wasteland with no restaurants and 1 coffee shop in a mile radius. Toronto is in the middle of a lock-out with the A/V union at the next-door convention center, so every 6:15 am we were woken up by someone shouting through a megaphone at the hotel, saying we should be ashamed of ourselves.

Pros: The proximity to Union station certainly made finding the hotel very easy and it was a pleasant opportunity to also catch sight of some local venues -- including the Hockey Hall of Fame as well as a plethora of restaurants. Walking into the building, I felt like I was in the wrong place, because what I paid and what I saw made me wonder if I had accidentally booked at the Ritz-Carlton instead. What a beautiful interior! Everything looked high end and the staff greeting me (at one in the morning no less) were phenomenal! They even upgraded my room free of charge! Crashing that early morning onto a nice clean bed, I felt vindicated that, while only staying for two nights, I had made a great decision in my accommodations. This place is certainly one I will look to whenever I get the chance to return to Toronto! Well done everyone :)

Cons: Knowing where the ice machine was took some exploring, but I was okay with it, as it afforded me the opportunity to explore the hotel a bit. When the machine turned out to be broken, the concierge at the desk had ice delivered to my room with no issue -- they even called my room a while later confirming if the ice had been received and whether or not I was satisfied with the service! Very considerate folk.

The staff was friendly and responsive to immediate needs (like printing, bringing a shaving kit, etc.). The very central location is also a definite plus.
Cons: I didn’t have any view out of my window as it was facing a huge parking lot or something alike. The room service was rather satisfying, although I didn’t expect them to decide for me the amount of tips I wish to give and include it all in the bill prior to giving it to me. In the middle of the night, a fire alarm went off, which wasn’t very pleasant; although I understand its importance in a case of a real emergency, I’d appreciate if the information about whether to leave the room or stay inside was communicated more rapidly than it was.

Cons: Bathrooms are a little dated.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff are wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Room view was beautiful!
Cons: The reason we rated it somewhat lower was because of the noise from renovations. We know short term pain for long term gain, but the loud sounds of power tools, hammering, etc, really discouraged spending time in the room.

Cons: The only downside was the fire alarm which sounded for over 5mins and unfortunately ruined my night as I got a migraine and I wasn’t able to do much :-(

Pros: My boyfriend and I came for our 6 year anniversary. We wanted to explore Toronto, so we came early. The staff was amazing! We will be staying there again upon our return.

Pros: We stayed at the Cambridge Suites as part of a weekend getaway. In the heart of downtown and right around the corner from Massey Hall, the Cambridge Suites was withiin walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The suite was spacious and offered every convenience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens clean and crisp. The room was very quiet and the staff was most accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: This was a great deal! It is conveniently located downtown near the Air Canada Centre and a quick walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Parking on site and not too bad of a price. Highly recommended!

Pros: I compared alot of hotels for our long weekend visit to Toronto. The Cambridge seemed to offer the best value as far as price, location, and you get a suite not just a room. The room were clean, and recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very firm, but we prefer it that way. The hotel has a strictly enforced no noise policy, which is something we appreciated. We were able to get the rest we needed after very full days taking in Toronto.

Pros: Right from the very start the staff were fantastic. They signed us up to their rewards scheme for free so we had access to their free WiFi. We were given room 2543, which overlooked the City Hall and Toronto sigh which was gorgeous at night! The location was great, easy walks to union station and the CN Tower. In fact, we walked everywhere. The distillery district was only 35 mins walk. There is also an underground walkway with shops and food that leads to union stations and others meaning you don’t have to experience the cold, however I feel like you miss the city if you don’t walk the streets.

Pros: It was a suite and there was a small kitchen.
Cons: I booked a a suite, but it was upgraded to an executive one when I checked in. It was too huge for me alone. The suite was not pleasant but it might be if I was traveling with my children. Also, there was a cleanest issue. There were some some stains on the toilet. It was so disgusting. After that, I did not trust anything like bedsheets and towels to be clean.

Pros: Location is good, 2 mins from subway. There is indeed a needle exchange over the road but the druggies are fairly harmless and you can just walk over the other side of the road instead. There are some great takeaways over the road as well, also a couple of Japanese restaurants and a pizza place. Hotel is very close to Eaton Shopping Centre, lots of food court eateries and a Tim Hortons across the road. Hotel was clean, tidy, great housekeeping service and clean room. Didn't use the breakfast option because lots of other food options nearby. Two staff - Kevin and Sajad were fantastic in sorting out an error of the hotel's making. In normal circumstances their efforts in itself would make me want to stay again, however, the nature of the error could have left me (or someone who was less assertive to argue) in a really difficult situation. The hotel appears to have form for doing this before, and so, despite these two guys' efforts, I cannot take the risk of staying again and being left potentially without funds or somewhere to stay again. Unless Bond Place can demonstrate procedures put in place to prevent recurrence, I advise potential guests to avoid staying here. I wait to hear what you have to say.

Cons: The incompetence of the check in man Mohab. I'd paid in full 5 weeks before arrival but he insisted that I could not continue to check in as the card I had used was not acceptable (a Debit Mastercard). First he said he would need to take payment again and then refund the money I had paid B4. I explained I only have debit cards, and he told me no hotel in Toronto only accepts Debit (lies). I explained that until the refund cleared on my account, I'd be without $1200, i.e. my spending money. He told me it was an instant refund onto the card and then he'd take payment a second time with a swipe. I explained that there is no such thing as an instant refund and he argued that yes there was, he had the same card as me (bullshit, he doesn't live in the same country as I live in or bank with the same bank). He argued... said "you have a big problem"... and then did the refund anyway. Result - when he went to take the funds again the card declined, as the funds had, of course, not cleared yet. He then wanted me to pay in full on my other card (the one he had refused to accept just moments earlier). I would not allow this as I did not want a further $1200 off this card. After some argument he let me pay the first night only and sort the problem out in the morning. I wanted proof of the refund and he refused, telling me I had to take a photo of it on my phone (in the end I had to argue to get him to make a photocopy). In the morning I received an abrupt phone call from a woman saying "can we expect you to come and make payment?". I went down to reception and thank God, there was a sentient human being there, Kevin, who had done research and admitted the error. But looking at the reviews, this hotel has previous for doing this. So beware, it's put me off staying again which I would have done had this not happened. Well done to Kevin and also Sajad(??) for helping sort this out.
